This auto mover, Roland Arisso, promised to deliver my car, then repeatedly postponed pickup of the car for 2.5 weeks, at which point I requested a cancellation with full refund. He promised the refund, and then didn’t issue it despite reminders. It took reporting him for fraud to finally get my refund back. Details: Roland committed to pick up my car from Seattle, WA on Aug. 19 and move it to San Luis Obispo, CA. On Aug. 18 he emailed saying his truck broke down so pickup would be delayed. Then he did not answer his phone or respond to emails for a week. Finally, on Aug.23, he emailed that it would be picked up on Aug. 30. I’d left town and left the car with some friends. On Aug. 30 he said pickup would occur at 6 p.m. On Aug. 31, my friend said the car had not been picked up. Roland did not contact me again(or answer phone or email) until Sept. 4 — then he said car was not picked up due to «delays» and the holiday weekend. On Sept. 5 I emailed requesting a refund. Roland emailed right away saying he would give me a refund, and he cancelled our transaction on — which meant that I got the booking deposit back from uship(but not yet the refund from Roland for around $ 500). The next day, still no refund. I emailed him, and he emailed back saying it takes 1 – 2 days to process. Then on Sept 12(6 days after refund was promised) I still had not received it. I emailed him saying I needed the refund that day or I’d report him for fraud. No response. I reported him for fraud. UPDATE: Some time after I reported him for fraud, I FINALLY got my refund.
