Nice place, nicest people to ever work in a restaurant and they have beer! Our kid is a picky eater and he loves it! You have lots of choices to create a dish.

Good food, nice people. The description of an Asian Chipoltle suits. I had a chicken wrap w/coconut rice, peppers& onions, edamame salad, wasabi coleslaw, cucumbers & cilantro w/sesame ginger. Yummy!!!

Got a rice bowl and my boyfriend got a burrito. The food was INCREDIBLE. You need to try the wasabi coleslaw! This is hands down my new favorite place in Lancaster.

One of my favorite restaurants in Lancaster. Great if you want a quick bite. Delicious, huge«burritos» packed with flavor. I’m a massive fan of the Wasabi Coleslaw(be sure to add it to your dish!). Very friendly owners and staff too. This is a place I consistently bring friends to. So good!

I have been coming here since they opened and finally decided to write a review after enjoying yet another delicious lunch! This is what we were missing downtown. Finally an option with fresh, healthy ingredients given in generous portions for an affordable price! I always get the bowl. I like all of their meats and you can mix at no additional charge if you want. I haven’t had a sauce I didn’t like yet. Everything is always good. The owners are very nice as well.

When I was first reading reviews for this place, I thought, Asian chiptole!!! Now, I say, ASIANCHIPTOLE! Silantra is the real deal: it actually is an Asian chiptole. In place of a tortilla, you get a chewy scallion pancake, and the toppings of steak, chicken, and shrimp(or portobello for all the vegetarian) are similarly priced to chipotle, at 7.55 for the meats and 7.05 for the veg option. I highly recommend the steak; it was cooked to a perfect medium and excellently seasoned. The toppings for the meats include wasabi coleslaw, seaweed salad, and Edamame salad, all of which were unique and delicious. Lettuce, spinach, and cucumbers were also toppings, and everything was fresh. You get a choice of sauces, my favorite of which were the garlic teriyaki and the Mandarin orange vinaigrette. Altogether, a filling, delicious asian burrito. A cucumber flavored water, which you’d typically find in fancier restaurants was free with the meal. In place of salt and pepper, silantra offers sriracha and hoisin sauce. The owner was incredibly accommodating, and he selflessly treated customers like they were guests in his own home. Speaking of the restaurant, it was classily renovated for a upscale bar type feel, and the attention to detail showed, even to the bathrooms. For an Asian spin on chiptole, with a little something extra, silantra provides all that you might want on a casual night.

Silantra is a lovely restaurant run by really nice folks. The made to order line moves really quickly and all the alcoholic drinks are $ 4 every day! The nicest bit is that they give their tips to a different charity every month. Which also means that they are paying their employees the actual minimum wage(or more, I have not asked) not a serving wage. Awesome concept.

Come hungry!!! The number of combinations you can get here is delightful! From the different proteins, veggies, and sauces you can add in your bowl or wrap, is amazing! Come one day for one taste, come again another day for a different flavor. The price for the amount of food is on point. They have won several awards for Taste of Lancaster, and are huge supporters of local and community organizations. They just opened their bar, so beer is now available! The staff is absolutely wonderful and friendly. Clean environment, awesome food, just a great place to chill with friends and family.

Lovely place and very sweet owners that are eager to get to know their customers. The Asian Chipotle thing is tasty! They give you a HUGE burrito that mostly falls apart as you eat it, but is nevertheless delicious and unique. Sam, one of the owners, spoke with me for a long time about starting this business from scratch and trying to make a name for themselves in the Lancaster scene. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants an affordable, tasty, and personable experience.

Asian Chipotle! Yes, please!!! Bowls, wraps or salads, oh my! Make it your way. Vegetarian options and carnivorous alike. The sauces make the meal. Try the curry or the garlic teriyaki. Very nice owners who cater to your every need. The food is so fresh! Bright colors, the right amount of spice and flavor entice you to eat your generous portion. I’m stuffed but I’ll be back, soon.

Refreshing late night food! Stopped here after a late night out with a few friends. Bowls were buy one get one half off. Had them throw in a little bit of everything. The coleslaw and enamame was amazing. I ate the whole bowl but easily could have split it into two meals. Super friendly people were working here, and all the tips go to charity. We will be back. Maybe tomorrow.

Vegan friendly(offers meat as well). Think Asian Chipotles. Very friendly staff, laid back atmosphere, clean. Open late! It’s so hard to find a healthy option late so this is great!

First-time visit today, so I hope to be able to change this review later on. The staff was delightful, but ¾ of the steak in my rice bowl was inedible fat chunks(the majority) and grizzle.

Wow. Silantra is incredible. There’s a lot of pan-asian options in Lancaster, but this one is very unique and special. The staff is incredibly friendly and guide you through the process of building your own wrap or bowl. Some of the ingredients you may feel unfamiliar with, but they’ll let you try it before you throw it in the mix :) I’m glad they offer this, because I might not have opted for the seaweed salad otherwise, but it is SO good and I wonder if they will sell it to me in gallon buckets, it’s THAT good ! Also, they do accept tips, but they donate them to a designated charity each month. I really admire that! Will return again and again and again for sure.

Ok, so here is my story. My son(17 y/o) and I were at a Colleges Baseball Showcase at Millersville University. We were staying at the Marriott at Penn Square. on Saturday 8÷15÷2015, we decided to take a walk and find some good eats. As we passed by Silantra, we were still undecided. I looked at my son and he said, why not? so, Silantra is a Chipotle modeled Asian«Flavors» restaurant. You pick a Tortilla, Bowl, or a Salad. You pick a Protien, and vegetables, and you top it off with an Asian inspired sauce(Sesame Ginger, Teriyaki Garlic, Sweet and Sour, Silantra Curry, and Mandarin Orange Vinaigrette). I had the Chicken, with brown rice, grilled broccoli, spinach, cucumber, lettuce, wasabi slaw, and Seasame Ginger Sauce. My Son had the steak. He was very pleased with the taste. I was very happy with my meal. The chicken was flavorful and the vegetables were fresh. We also got free drinks. I had the Cucumber water and my son had the Iced Tea. After our meal we sat and spoke to the owner and the staff. they were all cordial, and very friendly. They are in the process of getting their liquor license, and once they do, i believe this place will take off. They are in a good location serving great food. If I had to complain about something, it would be the menu. I just think they should have some dishes that are already named. Sort of like«Grandfathers Beef wrap», «Auntie’s Chicken bowl», etc. Sometimes, its just easier to say can I have a «Rickshaw Wrap(Chicken And Broccoli with Coconut rice), see what iI did there«CAB» for Chicken And Broccoli! I am sure they will receive a few more ideas, and I can wait to go visit Lancaster, once again to see the growth. Good Job Silantra, way to go!

Really cool concept! You get to pick what you want from a bar. It’s kind of like Chipotle or Subway but it’s Asian which is super cool. It makes Asian/Chinese food look healthy but it’s also very tasty. They advertise it as a wrap or bowl. The wrap is kind of like a Chinese burrito and who doesn’t like burritos. You pick if you want the handmade tortilla wrap or a bowl. Since the wrap is handmade every morning for the lunch crowd, I wanted to try it. It’s very unique. I like it much more than the tortilla wraps at Mexican restaurants. They added stuff in it to make it Asian. Then you get to choose coconut white rice or organic brown rice. I chose brown but my colleague had the coconut white rice and she loved it. You get to choose between chicken, steak, shrimp or Portobello mushroom. My favorite is the chicken. It’s very good! It is sooo tasty, even without the sauce at the end. After the meat/protein, you can add anything you want from the vegetable bar. They have the regular stuff like lettuce, spinach, cucumbers. They also make their own specialty salads, which is really cool. My favorite is the edamame salad. They also have seaweed salad. The wasabi coleslaw is also very good and a very cool idea. It’s spicy so don’t get it if you can’t handle wasabi. At the end, they can sprinkle some cilantro on top and you can choose a sauce that goes over everything. I had a sample of all of them. My favorite is the sesame ginger but they are all very good. I think it also depends on which meat/protein you get and you could pair it with a sauce that fits it more. This is a very cool new restaurant. It is like a very fresh and healthy approach to Chinese food but it’s not the typical bland tasting kind of healthy food. The people there are also very cool. They don’t keep their own tip. I saw a sign and it said they donate their tips to a chosen organization or charity each month. They also bring their foods to the shelter. That is sooo nice. They also have a bar coming in a month or so and they will have local beer and stuff. That’s going to be pretty awesome with the Asian wrap/burrito.
