I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I was semi dragged here by my girlfriends who for weeks exclaimed«I need crepes we need to go to rachels creperie.» Personally I had never really eaten a crêpe nor really cared too, as they seemed like some kind of fruity hipster type meal that only males wearing skinny jeans would eat. However, after glancing at the menu I noticed a good selection of interesting options, one including a cheesesteak crêpe. Now it was breakfast time, but I can never really pass up a cheese steak, when I am in philly i usually opt for a cheese steak omelet at this time, but i figured this will do. I grew up eating real philly cheesesteaks, not the local kind that are covered in sauce and other crap, to me its just steak, onions, provolone or whiz or its not a real steak. I told them to hold the mushrooms but other than that, thats what this menu item was. The steak they used was top notch, and the crêpe shell or wrap, was more like a crispy pita wrap then a pancake variation. The cheese was perfectly melted and just the right amount of onions. I must say the atmosphere is really nice here as well. I will definitely be back, this time not being dragged back either! The only reason I can’t rate this 5 stars is because it was hard to find parking.

Well worth the wait! I was there during a very busy time and the staff was extremely nice and friendly. One of the servers actually gave me a smoothie that they had made extra of, and it was DELICIOUS. I can’t remember the crêpe I had but it had mozzarella and tomatoes and basil and oh my gosh it was so good. They whole thing was perfectly melted and cooked. I also had a lavender and honey latte which had the perfect balance of coffee and other flavors. Highly recommend if I could give them 10 stars I would.

My first visit to Rachel’s was a few years ago. My second visit to Rachel’s was last year. My third visit to Rachel’s was a couple of months ago. With that being said, all of my trips to Rachel’s have been delightful! The quality is there every time. I am always torn between their specialty drinks(I’ve tried every one). My favorite one is the Mexican Hot Chocolate. For my personal favorite crêpe, I love the smoked salmon crêpe. I always add a small nutella dessert crêpe(gotta satisfy my sweet and savory cravings all in one morning) as well. Try to visit either when they first open their doors or off peak hours in the afternoon. All three times that I’ve visited have been for Sunday brunch. My wait times have ranged between 15 minutes(right when they opened their doors, there was already a line outside) to an hour.

Came here on a date with my wife. The food was good. I had the Steve Murray special crêpe which has egg, rice, beans, salsa, and sausage, with a side of hash browns. Very tasty and very filling. The coffee was good quality, and the waitress even made an off menu, custom peanut butter, Nutella, hot chocolate for my wife. Great interior, cute French theme and good music. I have to say it’s more of a girly place, but it’s good for a date. The reason only four stars is because although the waitress was nice and even did a custom order, she was manning the front hostess counter, the cash register, and waiting tables, so she wasn’t super attentive, understandable so. They need a few more staff in my opinion. But I understand new hires are expensive and its a small family business, so I will continue to support!

Love this place! One of our new go-to spots. The Thai crêpe(I think) was so delicious. But my new favorite was salmon with capers.

Outstanding food, service and atmosphere! We live in York and happened upon Rachael’s via Google maps while looking for parking for an event. I am so glad we did! My son had one of the sweet crepes and I had more of a savory one. Both were delicious and fresh. I added a side of hash browns to mine which were also fantastic. We did have about a 40 minute wait, but we went around 11 am on a Sunday, so it was to be expected during prime brunch hours. Once we were seated our service was prompt and our order was served in a timely manner. Most importantly, it was obvious it was freshly prepared and looked as great as it tasted. We will definitely go back next time we are in downtown Lancaster!

This place was a great find. Totally unexpected. The portions were great. The service was great and the fruit smoothie was amazing. I had one, one of my buddies had another and they were both phenomenal.

Cute place with lots of charm and a super friendly staff! I had a mango smoothie and it was delicious. The other two people I was with had crepes, and they were not only served in a speedy manner, the crepes looked delicious! 9⁄10 would recommend.

Very very very good! The Salmon Crêpe And Iced Coffee with Nutella Mill is worth 5 stars all by itself. They tend to be a little slow but it is because each Crêpe is MTO. If I had one wish, it would be that there were other crepes as good as the salmon. I have yet to find one but I will keep trying

Ok, so I visited Rachel’s after having a colonoscopy. I’ve said it, it’s out there. In that context, I had just had that experience, had been through 24 hours of cleansing preparation, and hadn’t eaten solid food for 36 hours. Truth be told, I could have gnawed on a lawn gnome and been overly satisified. But no, I made the choice to go somewhere new and get visit this much– ballyhooed establishment for my first meal back on planet Earth. I was greeted by a long wait. Hunger was a thing of the distant past, so if anything, those 25 minutes were spent building passive anticipation. Close quarters is the waiting area theme, so I got to eavesdrop like Inspector Gadget and listen to the pontificating of one of F&M’s coeds to her parents. Oh, intoxicating banality! Once seated in the midst of the dining area, coffee was served, orders for the Signature Salad, a Greek omelet crêpe, and a Thai crêpe were placed. Each was served in reasonable time. Impression? I think it’s going to take another visit. Maybe my taste buds had hidden in horror following the morning’s preceedings, or maybe the ducolax had flushed them as well. Either way, I was not blown away as has everyone else. Crepes were of a soft tortilla consistancy, and the Thai wasn’t thai enough, and the Greek didn’t have the volume of breakfast I’d expect to be nestled inside. To a man who expected a glorious return to food with a dazzling array of flavorful colors, this meal was beige. And I can’t say our waitress earned many personality points, either. I did nothing to offend, said please, thank you, etc., but still got a scowl and ignored. Maybe just busy… I donno. Total bill for above items was $ 25. I’m sure we will be back at some point, but it wasn’t good enough to make me start chirping about the next visit as we got in car. For me, any good meal should conjure anticipation for the next visit, and Rachel’s crepes didn’t take me there today…

This place gives a whole new spin on crepes. Should of known it was gonna be good because they were packed. Honestly I’ve never been a big fan of crepes myself until now. I had the Veggie Santa Fe, which was phenomenal. Everything was fresh. Just amazing, I only stopped by here to grab a coffee. Ended up with the Salted Carmel Nutella latte. I can’t even describe how good this was and this is coming from someone who is not at all a fan of Nutella. I mean this place is just like WOW. If your ever in or around Lancaster this place is a must try, you won’t be disappointed

As per the star system, Rachels is «A-OK,» but there seems to be some service problems. It is very popular, has«solid food,» and to my knowledge, there’s not another crêpe place in town. Here are the reasons for my own review: Average/below average Service. — Be honest about your wait times. There is always a line/wait time, but the intake was poorly organized(the hostess seemed pretty overwhelmed and gave me the same wait time when I asked two separate times, 30 minutes apart) — just be honest about how long it will be and we’re good. — Have enough staff to get food out in a timely manner, and check in with your customers. Once we ordered, the food took a *long time* to come out, and my once full coffee cup waited a long time before someone asked if I wanted a refill. By that time, my food was gone and I was on the way out. Decent food. — The food is pretty good. The portion sizes are large, and what I had was solid. If they fixed some of the other issues, the food is worth a return trip. Overall, a lot of the issues could be easily fixed with a more streamlined system, but maybe I caught them on an off day. Would I come back? Maybe… but it would have to be a day where I had nothing else to do. To me, it’s just not worth it. I spent more time waiting(whether in line, or once I had seated for my food) than I did anything else. Cute place, decent food, but too crowded and seemingly overwhelmed. I don’t mind crowded, if the customer’s needs don’t get lost in the process.

All-time favorite place for food in Lancaster – I come here so often with my girlfriend that the waitstaff practically know our order by heart. The initial wait can be daunting if you go during a busy hour or on the weekend(20 – 40 min), and be prepared to wait outside. But once you’re seated the food doesn’t take long at all, and(I think) it is very worth it. Coffee is top-notch and the smoothies are flawless.

The food… wow…amazing! The frozen Nutella salted caramel Mocha… WOW! Amazing mix of flavors and tastes amazing! Who would have thought you could get a crêpe filled with Philly cheesesteak toppings! Yum! It’s one of my favorites!

Lovely place. Friendly staff. Try to go when it’s off-peak times or parking is hard to find in their lot. It’s very popular and for good reason. We had wonderful service. We got there at 7:55 p.m. And their kitchen closed at 8:00 on Thursdays. They kindly seated us and reminded us of the kitchen closing time. Then we ordered two salads and one crêpe. Both salads were fresh and the berry salad was super good. My crêpe was like a chicken burrito and was great. I ordered a chai latte which was very good but extra sweet. Overall, the outside seating on a warm night is lovely and the trip is worth it.

Incredible food. Fun and friendly staff. $ 2 cork fee for bring your own alcohol. Perfect for mimosas. Crepes are quite flavorful. Impressed at their creativity with combining unique ingredients. Huge portions, really good coffee. Service is on point, staff always checking up on coffee and water. Owner is out on the floor working hard which was inspiring.

I’ve stopped here every time I’m in Lancaster and the staff and food are always on point. I’ve tried various crepes, The Greek salad is my fave. I’ve done a breakfast burrito type, it was yummy and filling and also one with a curried crêpe OMG. So happy each time. The coffee is good too. Stop in and be ready to eat. Oh, I will say that if you go in a Sunday for brunch you better get there early or late… It’s a popular place. Enjoy!

Only a few blocks from our Airbnb and one of the only places open on Sundays, we went here for my birthday brunch. We did have to wait for 20 minutes or so, but once seated, the food came out quickly. We both had the Nutella mocha, which was so deliciously creamy! I ordered the Steve Murray crêpe, which was stuffed with Italian sausage, Brie cheese, rice, salsa, vegetables and probably a bunch more stuff. It was delicious… I never would have imagined those flavors together, but it worked for me. I really wanted to try the dessert crepes, but was way too full. Next time!

This is a charming place and great for brunch! We came with some friends and 3 out of 4 of us loved our crepes. Definitely order a crêpe that is infused and I would stick with their suggestions. I personally loved the dill, caper, and salmon crêpe… nice balance of flavors and very satisfying. The nutella hot chocolate is also wonderful! I hope to come back the next time I visit Lancaster.

We found this place thanks to Unilocal and were not disappointed! The coffee is great and the crepes are too. I had the salted caramel Nutella latte and the caramel apple crêpe. They were quite flavorful and rich. Next time I will probably only get one or the other, the sugar rush was simply too much for me. I can’t speak to the virtues of the savory food as we only tried dessert. I’d recommend this place to anyone who likes taking Instagram picture of their coffee(you know who you are), high tea, or have insatiable sweet teeth.

The Nutella mochas are to die for, and the crepes… well they are addictive. I love the Santa Fe crêpe, but in reality I don’t think you can get bad food here. The waitstaff are all cool hipster kids with great style(and groovy tattoos) and they’re always super nice. The locals adore this place for good reason, and if you’re visiting Lancaster City it’s a spot you won’t regret checking out.

First let me say that my family and I come here all the time. My husband has a gluten allergy, and even though he can’t eat the crepes, we still go here… until now. A friend was in town and we decided to show him this place. The service was fine and the food was good, albeit the coffee was watery.(I do have to say though, the price on most things on the menu are justified, except for the hash browns and cup of soup – the mark up on these items are ridiculous) Anyway, as I was saying, everything was fine and we paid our check and gave our server a 20% tip like we always do. We left the cash on the table and started to walk out the door. As we were walking out, our server catches up to my husband and says something along the lines of, «…next time take the cash to the register.» I don’t know about you, but when I heard this, my immediate gut reaction was, «bitch.» I mean, everything was fine, we paid, we gave you a great tip… was saying that even necessary? It was enough to sour the whole experience and tips the scale for us not coming here that frequently or maybe ever again. It may seem a little harsh, but once I get a bad taste about something, it’s over.

This is a great place to get crepes. They have a large selection of breakfast, lunch, and desert crepes so don’t limit yourself to a certain meal. The staff was smart, funny, and efficient. Only downfall was that it was very noisy inside, but they do offer a large patio area as an alternative.

I came here for brunch on a Sunday morning after a Saturday night wedding. Tired and hung over we were anxious to have breakfast. We arrived at 10am, while our other friends had arrived earlier and gotten us a table for six. It was packed by 1030am with people waiting inside and outside for a table. I had a fabulous cappuccino, while my husband ordered some latte type drink with nutella and salted caramel in it. It was delicious, but I’m not sure I could’ve had more than one sip. I’ll stick with my perfect cappuccino. I had a crêpe from the specials’ menu with cheddar cheese, black beans, rice, cilantro crème sauce and chicken. It was really good and satisfying. Portions are very large for a $ 6-$ 8ish crêpe. You can add an order of three hash browns to your meal but I found them to be very small and nothing special. Our table split a nutella crêpe for dessert and it was a great last bite to end the meal. If you have a sweet tooth you would definitely enjoy this as an entrée. While the crepes are priced well, the coffee drinks and smoothies are expensive. Our bill was about $ 80-$ 90 for 6 people. We all had either a coffee drink, OJ, or a smoothie which added up fast. You could get out of here a lot cheaper with one crêpe and a regular coffee but I’ll be back again and order the same thing. I read a few reviews on Unilocal saying the service was really slow. We did not experience that at all. I wish I would have gotten our server’s name to share with you. She was pleasant and attentive. *TIPS — Arrive before 1030am on a Sunday if you want a table without a wait; they do not split checks so be sure if you are with a large party that you have cash; check out the bathroom’s amazing copper floors(random but really cool)* Shout out to Lindsay K for the recommendation! «SOGOOD» per usual!
