One of my favorite restaurants. Such a friendly atmosphere, food is delicious and reasonably priced. Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Really enjoyed the food and the dining atmosphere. A little bit like family dining as their name suggests. I had the full tomato stuffed with chicken salad and cottage cheese on the side. Then I had a blackened chicken Ciabatta sandwich. Very good and filling! Topped it all off with blueberry pie and ice cream! I’ll be back!

This place is pretty good. If you are like«I have no idea what I want to eat» but want to go out, this is the place to go. They have a diverse menu, and the food is good. My girlfriend and I go here when we go out to Buffalo to visit her family. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap is my usual order. It’s consistently good every time I order one. They have a wide selection of teas as well, if you are not a coffee drinker. I drank the orange spice which was quite good despite being partial to Persian Style dark tea. If you’re on the fence about where to go and can’t decide, the service here is great and the food is really good. I highly reccommend it.

It’s a mis-print, the name is actually«Olive Three» because it could not possibly score more than a 3⁄5. Then again I was so annoyed on the day I ate here, that I am considering changing the name to «Olive Zero.» Late night, I ordered an open chicken souvlaki. The salad that came with it was plentiful, but average-tasting. It had some cucumbers in it, which was different, but it basically just tasted like a refrigerated salad. Not insanely fresh, but not withering and wilting either. The feta cheese was the powdery tasteless kind which has texture similar to parmesan. Not a fan. Makes the food a little dry too. Speaking of dry, the star of the show should be the chicken. Especially at this price! It’s becoming a common theme where they tell me it’s $ 9 on the phone and then charge me $ 11 when I get there. Not only that, but the girl looked at me like she thought I was going to tip her for handing me my to-go box and ringing me up. Well there were no napkins or silverware in the bag even though I asked for them — so I’m glad I didn’t tip. Why are people tipping for take out anyway? Oh well… it’s your money. I guess I do occasionally. But yes back to the chicken. It tasted like, well, old chicken breast. No juice. No marinade. Nothing. Overdone. Hardened. And there was hardly any of it. Which was fine since I didn’t like it anyway. All in all this was one of my least favourite Souvlaki experiences in town, to the extent that I gave it away and went and had pizza elsewhere. The girl I gave it to fully enjoyed it, but she is easy to please, in all sorts of ways. It only scores a 3 because it’s a family owned business.

We had never been there before & didn’t know what type of restaurant it was. We called ahead & made 5:30PM dinner reservations. While hubby parked the car about 20 patrons came in & stood with us in the lobby. Finally a hostess came out & when hubby came in we told her we had a reservation… well apparently they don’t take resevations, and she put our name on the list(after the names of those other people who came in after us… grrrr… I told her we needed to be seated soon — we were going to a play — she said«oh you’ll have plenty of time»… not even knowing where & when we needed to go… Waited 15 min. Finally sat down & after 10 min I had to flag someone down to ask him to send our waitress, as we were behind schedule due to their mix up — he just said — well she’s busy — she has all these people to take care of — she’ll get to you… another 5 min & she finally comes to take our order. We had to eat FAST to get out of there on time to go to the play. The food was adequate, prices OK, ambiance is diner — like. The service was VERYPOOR– they didn’t care that they made us late by; 1. not telling us on the phone that they don’t take reservations 2. seating other patrons before us who came in after us. 3. totally ignoring our requests for speed so we could get out on time. I definitely would NOT go there again…

This is what we in the mid-atlantic would call a ‘diner‘, minus the sassy waitresses and good food. Our local hosts consired this abomination a restaurant. The waitress was a sweetheart, but the food was slooooow and it wasn‘t that busy on a Sat am. Most of the party had brkfst and 1 had grilled cheese. It was 31 mins to the table from point of order. Refills were plentiful but likely only b/c of the delay. How hard is it to do a greek omelette and 2 orders of eggs and a grilled cheese? The kitchen seemed packed, not understaffed and the place was maybe 1⁄3 full at 1130. Way too slow. If your gonna be slow, put out good product. The product wasn‘t that tasty, even from the locals. From the food I‘ve had in one of the country‘s great sh – holes called WNY/Greater Buffalo, it is likely better than one of the ‘texas weiner‘ joints but not really a good sit down experience.

Love their food and they have good specials too. Their coffee is great and they keep it coming. I love their Greek food like the spanikopita. Delicious. The staff is always friendly. The last time we were there was Fathers Day and they were packed. Once seated we waited a longtime for our food. It was worth the wait but it is something to be aware of on the weekends.

Still awesome. Came here with the in-laws for lunch and the burgers are the best I’ve had in a long time. Thick patties, not greasy, a little tiny bit pink in the middle when ordered medium-well. FIL had a plain cheeseburger and I had the Texas Onion Ring burger(BBQ sauce, onion ring, cheese and bacon). Next time I’ll try the Philly(mushrooms, onions, and provolone). MIL had a salad with chicken and cranberries(huge, with piles of red leaf lettuce and lots of other goodies), and hubby had a Cordon Bleu melt(honestly the least impressive-looking of everything we ordered, but he liked it). The fries are tasty and come out piping hot. The coleslaw is a little too sweet for my liking but has a perfect creamy consistency.

Hair in the biscuits and gravy. Ewwwwww. If that wasn’t bad enough, the response from management was terrible. To directly quote the manager: «it happens sometimes.» Um really? If I were the manager and a customer came to me with this complaint, I would have been MORTIFIED, not trying to justify why there was hair in my restaurant’s food. His response was to offer two $ 5 gift cards for our next visit — not even removing the offending food from the bill and assuming we would actually come back? Management fail. Compared to other Greek restaurants, the quality is similar, prices a bit higher than Alton’s or Towne. OK restaurant, terrible response from management in addressing a problem.

If you can, your better off at Altons or any of the Forest/Garden/Hillview joints where it’s more reasonably priced better tasting Greek food. I DON’T like to nit-pick but the first thing that bums me out with open slovaki salads is when its cheap iceberg lettuce. And restaurants should just change the included item description from«Greek olives» to «one klamata olive is all you deserve» Its pathetic. AND If you order a pricey side of fresh fruit, don’t bother its soggy pre frozen strawberries and blueberries in a bland sloshy mess. It’s a good cheap eats if you like regular boring Americn food.

Mewh. I had high expectations for the restaurant but wasn’t impressed. Stopped in with the hubby on «Sweetest Day» for a breakfast before we were going to run errands for the day. We both had coffee — and it was just OK. I was expecting more jet fuel and stronger power caffeine. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs with feta cheese and hashbrowns with toast. The eggs were bland and flat — there was feta cheese which was about ¼ cup just shoved in the middle. It was too much cheese too egg. The hashbrowns were cripsy as I had asked but no flavor from the onions or seasoning. My husband has the spinach and feta omelet and stated that he felt as if the dish was bland as well. I am not sure if we will ever go back as there as there are manly other diners in the area that I would rather try.

The olive tree is a staple in the village of Lancaster and can be jammed packed at certain times of the day. Their breakfast is decent while dinners and lunches are the better choice of meals. I’ve stopped in here a few times and I never had a bad experience. Granted I’ll probably never experience an unbelievable I’ll never forget this type of meal here, but it’s fair to say its a good place to eat at. There’s usually daily specials so when passing on by the village or your in the area, grab a bite to eat.

This is a great place for family friday night dinners. They were quick, had a good selection for the kids menu and even gave them a little extra treat. The Fish Fry was really good, and for that matter so was everything else. I would be happy to go there anytime someone suggested it.

I just went there extremely hungry… So I thought I would treat myself to two breakfast entrees. I was greeted by a host who sat me at a dirty table… When I said something she said something like«Oh sorry, I didn’t see it «… Umm, OK… No problem onto the food I thought… My first breakfast was a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes with an added side of bacon. Nothing special about the pancakes. The side if bacon was larger than average but the bacon itself was average to below average… Next up I got one of the breakfast specials…2 eggs, home fries, bacon, and toast. I am very particular about my eggs, and can’t have them under cooked… I like them cooked over medium to over well… I would rather have them over cooked rather than under cooked… I prefer over medium but it seems like some cooks have issues with them so that’s why I get them over medium to over well… Anyways when I got my eggs they sure didn’t look how I ordered them… They didn’t even look over medium… So I poked these under cooked things with my fork, and lo and behold my to my usual bad luck they were over easy… When she came by to ask if everything was ok I said, «No the eggs are over easy not over medium to well… She offered to have the cook make more but I told her don’t worry about it no need to tell the cook how to cook eggs on my account… Just take a couple of dollars off by bill I told her… So I kept eating and about 5 minutes later she brought what looked to be two more over easy eggs to me, lol unreal… I told he I did not want the cook to remake me eggs, and I don’t want them… So she took them away… The rest of my breakfast — the side of bacon again was above average in size but again very average to below average bacon… The homefries as another reviewer stated are cooked so they are very crispy… Nothing fancy here in terms of spices or herbs… I did ask for homefries with onions, and all I could find one was piece of onion about ¼» long… So there’s another disappointment… Lastly, the apple juice I got was not cold… I mean it was like at room temperature… Ugh, my luck, lol… When the bill came she said she could only take a dollar off… Really? 1 star sorry. Maybe the lunch or dinner menu is better? But one thing that bothers me is the poor bacon they use… Leads me to believe that they probably also use lesser quality ingredients in other things… The restaurant itself looked on the newer side and clean… Kind of reminds me of Alton’s…Newer restaurant but lesser quality food… I would rather eat in a dive with bomb food rather than some fancy restaurant with lesser food.

Went here for dinner the other night and I can say that our experience was great. They were SUPER busy, yet we were seated within 10 – 15 minutes. Our server brought out drinks quickly and took our orders with little wait. I ordered lemon chicken soup with rice, which I was super excited about since it was something I have been craving for WEEKS! The soup was pretty good, though not my favorite. I will say though that while I appreciate that they put plenty of chicken in there, I wish that they had cut it into smaller pieces. There was one piece that was larger than my spoon so I was breaking them up smaller. For my meal I got the chicken souvlaki dinner. I chose home fries as my potato choice and I can say that those were spot on! I asked for extra crispy and they actually did that which so often places don’t. The souvlaki itself was a decent size and came with tons of chicken! I had plenty left over to eat the next day. I will say though that my biggest complaints that keep me from being totally pleased with my meal were that the Greek dressing did not hold that typical greek dressing flavor and tasted a bit bland and the pita that I asked for nice and TOASTED came barely warmed(to me, the perfect pita will have toasted enough to separate a bit and bubble up nice and crispy). I will say though that the taztziki was very nice and flavorful. Also, as a note for others: this restaurant does not serve alcohol. We like to have a drink after a long week but it’s not an end of the world deal, but if that is for you, this place may not be ideal.

This is our all-time favorite place for breakfast. The prices are reasonable & the quality of food is superb. You know how some Greek/diner places are popular but not really that good(like Family Tree) or a bit too pricey(hi Alton’s!)? Well, this one is perfect. Went this past Sunday, first time since they renovated & added onto the building. Menu is the same(thank God) and the wait staff was mostly familiar, although we did see a few new faces. My coffee was kept filled, good & hot. Mark had the Western omelette — fantastic. Full of fresh ingredients & ooey gooey cheesy!(I hate when other places are chintzy on the filling or just slap a slice of American cheese on top(barf.)) I had… drumroll please… Eggs Benedict!!! How many Greek breakfast diner joints can you get this at? Not many. I loved it — perfectly cooked. Homefries were tasty too(as was Olivia’s Mickey Mouse pancake, which Mark & I finished off!) I should recommend 2 other items on the menu: The Country Club Omelette is awesome — turkey breast, bacon, tomatoes. Also, their Meatlover’s Omelette comes with choice of toast Or 2PANCAKES!!! I typically force my husband to get this & then I exchange my toast for his pancakes. I have also been here for lunch — very good.
