My Labor & Moving

We were supposed to move on a Saturday and late Friday night, I got a text that due to a family emergency, we had to change our move start time later by 3 hours. When I got the text morning, I said alright and he texted back «thanks.» After that I never heard from him again. Move time came and went and nothing. Over a week later, still nothing. I really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but I just tried calling to get my deposit back and his number is disconnected. I think I’ve been ripped off. I’m contacting my credit card company to get my deposit back. So disappointing

My Labor and Moving is the BEST moving company EVER. We were moving from Harrisburg PA to Miami FL and were struggling finding a moving company that would commit to our move. I had 2 moving company’s commit and then cancel 6 days before our move. We were so blessed to have found Eric on Craigslist by chance. He SAVED us… literally. He asked me what we wanted and compromised with our needs and the price we can afford. He knew I was tight on time and made sure he got back to me with an estimate within a few hours. He did everything to make this move as stress free as possible. Communicating with all details and ensuring we knew exactly what’s going on. He brought Zach along to help with the loading of the truck and he was also delightful to work with. If your looking for a reputable, honest, safe, affordable and an amazing moving experience. I HIGHLY recommend My Labor and Moving Company. Call ERIC… He is truly a life saver and knows how to deal with any situation and in a short period of time.

Eric Houchin was fabulous! I thought the price was very reasonable and he worked hard to complete the job as quick as possible. He communicated well prior to the job and arrived on time. Eric did a fabulous job loading the U-​Haul for me in an efficient way that protected the contents. A definite pro who I would highly recommend! Lindsey Miller

I work in the customer service field and I find it very hard to be pleased. I’m usually that person who says, «I should of just did it myself «. It seems like people just don’t care anymore and it’s solely about getting the job done despite how it’s conveyed. The crew and Eric Houchin’s were awesome and definitely exceeded my expectations. He gave me free boxes to help cut the cost of purchasing boxes. He Confirmed our move date on more than one occasion. He Called the morning of, asking If I needed anything and even asked if I wanted donuts ;-)). He was considerate of the timing, and got the job done in a timely manner. He was polite, professional, and organized. I will definitely recommend him to everyone I know that has a move planned as well as use him for any other future moving endeavors.
