This is a great place to go. Not only are the portions generous, but the food is tasty. We recommend this place to everyone.
The staff and owners are extremely friendly. They ask about our son who is away at college and are very genuine.

I must say, my fiancé and I had a taste for something good. Soo we stopped here for lunch. We are very pleased!!! Food was very good, flavorful and the location is easy to find. They serve a great portion for a reasonable price!

Large portions, great tasting food, he was able to make a special order tofu vegetable dish, it was excellent. Recommend this place, you may have to wait for your food but it is worth it. Enjoy

Friendly staff, attentive and quick to serve. Delicious Garlic Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken, as well as chow mein and fried rice. Extremely generous portions and at great prices; they literally pile the food onto your tray. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants delectable Chinese food that’s filling and reasonably priced. Unlike Panda Express, Mandarin 1 food keeps you full for a long period of time and it’s satisfying. Keep up the great work, guys!

I absolutely love this place. The food is good and the portions are plentiful. You can’t beat the price. But the thing that really makes this place are the owners and workers. I have been going here for years and they have watched my son grew up. Even tonight the owner asked about him by name. So for the Chinese place where everyone knows your name this is it. They provide what so few places do… service.

I have ordered take out twice now and I was very leased both times. Big portions, great flavor, and great prices. Order the family combos for the best value. The combo A was plenty to feed my family of 4.

My favorite Chinese take out in AV. Friendly, courteous, clean. I’ve been coming here for years. My favorite is the Wor Won Ton! The family meals feed my family of three hungry boys with lots leftover. Well worth the money.

Really enjoy there food. Best Chinese takeout around by far. They have two workers and they are very friendly. The owner is usually always in the restaurant helping. Great place for a quick bite to eat. Huge portions and the food is actually pretty good.

I have a 2 star because the place is clean just as a few others had said. However, this being my first time going there after my brothers went and saying it was good. I was dissatisfied and disappointed to be honest. I had ordered orange chicken, chow mien and fried rice. When I had sampled the other food that had they all seemed like they have been sitting there all day. As far as my orange chicken and rice. They were both a little cold and the chicken was very fatty and chewy. The chow mien was probably the only thing I would say I kinda liked. So I told the worker that I was dissatisfied about the chicken and he asked if I wanted to have it heated up… Cmon now your meat is not fresh! He even said it himself! Wtf! Anyhow he told me what was fresh so I sampled the mushroom chicken. And believe it or not I swear I bit into a bone. Or at least it felt like it. Yes it was fresh, but I still felt like there was some bones or a lot of fat. So do I feel like i got cheated money? Yes. But glad I only spent $ 6.49 I think their problem is that they are located in a place where not much people will attend and therefore they leave food sitting there when it should be made fresh and ready for people who come in. Thank you!

This place hits the spot when it comes to Chinese fast food. I don’t care for Panda much and the food is much better then Panda. The owner is always nice and thankful for your business. I do understand there is a difference from Chinese fast food vs a true Chinese restaurant. So as far as Chinese fast food goes I like them. We should all support small businesses in this valley that try hard. Thank you to the owner and his staff.

First time here and I must say this place is awsome. there was only 2 mexicans working like always one cooking the other serving, cleaning, charging and greeting with a friendly smile. definitely coming back to this place again

Mandarin express is my go to place. I have lived close to this restaurant for 12 years and it always delivers great food and amazing customer service, love it!

Service was friendly, restaurant was clean. Orange chicken was bland and flavorless, Mongolian beef was salty and not nearly spicy enough. Mongolian beef was better than the Orange chicken, though. The servings are enormous, and the food is not expensive.
I’d be willing to eat here again, but for now I’m going to try some of the other places in town to see if they can do a better job. There’s a place on Lancaster Blvd (called Szeschwan or however you spell that) with far better food, but they’re way slower too.

Friendly. Sometimes the food looks like it’s been out to long. When it’s fresh it is very yummy. Large portions. Always offers a pot sticker while I wait. For fast food I love it. Very accommodating. Wide variety.

I love this food ! It taste great. Better then Panda Express. I all ways order the family meal for $ 19.99 and they really load you up good on the food you really get your Money’s worth, and you get lots of leftover for the next day. They do substitution. They value you as a customer. They are very nice people. I come in very often. I highly recommend to eat here at Mandarin one Express…

I gave 2 stars because the place was clean and the staff was very friendly. They greeted me with a smile and even initiated small talk.
However, the food was not good at all. The meat was spongy and did not have a lot of flavor, and the rice and chow mein was very dry. I may have just come at a bad time, but because it was my first time I was hoping to be impressed. It didn’t happen!

Great food and customer service. The portions are huge for the inexpensive prices. Overall one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the area.
