I am not sure what happened to one of our favorite places to eat??? We are saddened and hope that all is well with Khom and her familly.

The owners are awesome! Super friendly and chatty. Their mustard greens soup is very sweet considering it’s just mustard greens and pork; the owner said she’s been cutting back on salt for her and her husband’s health, and it shows in her cooking. The friend chicken wings are really good, but not battered like traditional American chicken wings are. The batter is very dry and crispy with a nice flavor. The eggrolls are good, but not quite an «Eggroll Paradise,» although, I did only try one flavor of rolls, so maybe I’ll try some more. The sauce that goes with the eggrolls are also on the sweet side, but it was nice. The only thing there that is just straight-up NOTGOOD is their rice macaroni stir fry thing. My bf and I assumed it was supposed to be a traditional Cambodian stir-fried noodle dish but using the rice macaroni instead the noodle usually in it(maybe they couldn’t find those noodles here in Lancaster or something, you know?) but it should basically taste the same. BUTNO, it was terrible. I’m normally pretty forgiving on food, though my bf is extremely picky and hard to please, but even I did not like it. The owners were so nice and friendly, however, that I didn’t want to hurt their feelings, so I ate it anyway.(We dined in, even though the place only has 3 tiny tables, since we were gonna go to a movie after.) Don’t expect to dine-in here unless you’re going somewhere afterwards. Their space is teeny tiny and they only have 3 tables. Seems like most of their business is call-ahead ordering and take out. Overall, I would definitely come back here to try out other things or to get chicken wings again. But I’ll also probably have to put some salt on all the food. Prices are VERY good for the portion sizes and the owners are great.

Authentic. Cambodian. I don’t even want to imagine a Lancaster without their lemongrass chicken wings and sticky rice. It’s a flavor I could eat every day. I also highly recommend their dessert egg rolls. The owners are wonderful and super friendly. If you dine in, you’ll likely get to know them pretty well over the course of your meal; it can make for a funny date night, but we we felt we walked away with new friends, so that’s fun! Now, we usually just order takeout and pick it up a ½ hour later. Love this place so much! Can’t wait to introduce some new friends to it tonight!

We had seriously high expectations of Khom’s, but we were a little disappointed. The eggroll selection was definitely unique for us, while the taste was just ok. We tried the shrimp and pork, yellow, as well as the coconut and banana. The shrimp and pork was the highlight. We also tried the Chicken Lo Mein, which was absolutely forgettable. For us, the best eggroll remains the shrimp eggrolls with homemade duck sauce at Chinatown Inn, downtown Pittsburgh.

Came here with my family because I heard so many positive things about it and I must say that it lived up to the hype for sure! The spring rolls were incredible. Every order is made FREAH on the spot so don’t come in a hurry. You can call ahead and take out. I love finding these little gems in Lancaster City

I really enjoy this place when I want to make a feast out of egg rolls. Normally I’m eating a bunch of other stuff with phở at other venues, but this place is close, great at what it does, and super nice to experience. Local and exotic — best combination.

This place is amazing, maybe one of the best Asian meals I have ever tried. This place is located around a few college campuses, a few miles away from each, and is located by the baseball stadium. Parking is an issue and the restaurant is easy to drive by. The décor is basic, with three tables and an open kitchen to look at while you eat. The service was amazing. They chatted with us about the restaurant and about their fresh ingredients. The menu is really interesting, with the renowned egg and spring rolls, along with hot soups, sandwiches, a few meat entrees, noodles, and desserts. The prices are reasonable and are convenient when trying many things out. The wait for the food might be a little long, since they make everything from scratch and to order. We were the only ones in here, so Khom, the owner and chef, talked to us. They said that last Saturday night, they had a line out the door and they had trouble keeping up, but I expected that to happen due to over 90% of the reviews on Unilocal being 5 stars. We started off with a pork and shrimp egg roll. An order comes with 6, but they are more like«American» spring rolls and their spring rolls are more like summer rolls. The egg rolls weren’t greasy at all, very crunchy, and very tender from the pork and shrimp. Their spring rolls were also amazing, since the skin was so thin and the ingredients inside were fresh and delicious. They were out of 2 – 3 items on the menu, but it was fine since we already had enough food. Their lo mein, even though it sounds boring, was amazing and very authentic. The spices of Cambodian cooking really shined through, along with the delicious vegetables. The sauce wasn’t too powerful, letting the noodles and the chicken add its own flavor. Their sandwiches were amazing. Their boneless pork was amazing, cooked perfectly and amazing. All sandwiches come with fries, vegetables, pickled guava, and Asian spices. Their tilapia sandwich was also really good, and the fish was extremely fresh. This place will impress even the culinary masters, since the food is just that good.

I love Khom’s and drive over an hour, round trip, every other week or so for her eggrolls. This place is easy to miss and quite small, but don’t let the outside fool you! This is nirvana in deep fried rice paper!!! Please know that everything is made fresh, so if you want it fast, CALLAHEAD. Also, there is minimal seating. It might hold 10 people at best if you choose to eat inside, but the conversation and company is priceless, because Khom is a true hostess in her establishment. The food is exceptional and the must try items are the Chicken Curry Stew(though it is light on chicken, so I always order extra) and The Original Egg Rolls, which are to die for! I also have a strong affinity hfor the pineapple coconit smoothie!

Wow! There seems to be a lot of hype for Khom’s. It’s great when a restaurant deserves it. We were in Lancaster for dinner with our son who goes to school there. He’s been here once or twice and wanted us to take him and we wanted to try it. We pigged out with two kinds of spring rolls, an order of egg rolls, an Asian style sandwich and a fried rice. Everything was fantastic. This was not a Chinese restaurant calling itself Cambodian. This was different and amazing. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty. The peanut sauce was good enough to drink on its own. The egg rolls were perfectly cooked — crunchy outside without being greasy, warm moist inside. Don’t go sparingly on the homemade duck sauce either! The fried rice was very good. It had a very different taste from Chinese fried rice. Less ginger and a different spice profile. Excellent! My favorite was the Asian style sandwich. Very close to a Vietnamese version. Excellent amount of filling, great crunch from the pickled veggies and greens and terrific bread. Add in the low prices and a staff that could not have been friendlier and you know why Khom’s gets the hype!

Love this place. The rice noodle bowl was really good. All of egg rolls and spring rolls I tried were also really good. No complaints

Summary: great food, great price, great people. Pros: this is the best hidden gem in Lancaster. My boyfriend and I were in town and looked for a place to eat. The 5 star review from 32 people made this an obvious choice. Now I know why. The owners are so friendly and the food is VERYREASONABLYPRICED, AUTHENTIC, HOMEMADE and DELICIOUS. It’s very easy to find parking, but we went at night so the daytime might be different. The portions were very large for us(we literally wobbled back to our car from how satiated we were). They officially have a 32nd5 star review. Great job khoms! Cons: I honestly can’t think of any.

KHOM’S IS A RIPOFF. I read the reviews about the spring rolls and I thought I’d give Khom’s a try. After three different visits here’s my report: Fresh ingredients, but, the spring rolls have one little piece of shrimp and pork at each end and the RESTOFTHESPRINGISNOTHINGBUTNOODLESANDLETTUCE! That is why the spring rolls are so fat, they are nothing but«FILLERS». For $ 3 a piece, this woman needs to give people what they are paying for, NOT A BUNCHOFFILLER. I’m going back to Rice and Noodles.

without a doubt this was the best eggroll and fried rice that i’ve ever had. ordered the daily special today for $ 7.95 which was 2 original eggrolls with pork fried rice and ribs. let me count the ways in which this meal was totally awesome. 1. when i called in my order, the owner stated it would be about 25 minutes. after about 15 – 20 minutes she called me back(!) and said that my order was ready and i could come by any time. talk about amazing customer service. 2. this was my first time there but khom chit chatted like we were old friends. how inviting and welcoming! 3. the business was very clean and you will be greeted by angels and buddhas. 4. i got back to my office and opened the delicious smelling package. the eggrolls were hot, crispy, and not at all greasy! the homemade duck sauce was out of this world, a little spicy but not too much and had a great flavor. the original eggrolls(pork and shrimp) were perfectly rolled, a little bit smaller size than standard eggrolls but they had so much flavor. 5. the pork fried rice had big chunks of pork, lots of veggies, and best of all it was not greasy either! 5 star experience. can’t wait to go back!

Phenomenal food with depth of flavors all freshly crafted for you while you wait. Khom was so pleasant and worked quickly to make my Asian sub which was… out…of…this…world. Did I mention I REALLYLIKED my sammich? Lol. It was made with a special spread with different types of meat and pickled carrots and daikon radish — typical of Asian fixin’s. Khom also shared personal stories while we dined voraciously on our fare. Definitely will come back!

Khom’s is a delightful place with home-style, made from scratch, «feel the love» type of food. The spring rolls are refreshing, tightly rolled, loaded with herbs and come with a choice of homemade dipping sauce… I chose sweet & sour. The egg rolls are neatly rolled and fried perfectly, leaving hardly any crumbs or oil behind. I got a sweet egg roll, the Yellow Roll. The flavors of bean and coconut married perfectly. The roll also came with crushed peanuts to add crunch. The mustard greens & pork soup was so generously packed full of mustard greens that I used both a fork and a spoon to lap up this wonderful dish. The Asian Subs are amazing. I was asked for the level of heat I would like… I went with the highest of «10.» The bread was a soft roll with a creamy spread, whole sprigs of cilantro, pickled onions, thick slices of ham/pork, cucumbers, carrots and peppers to give a punch of heat. Great restaurant, owned by great people. TIPS: Accepts cash and credit card. Little place with street parking and a small parking lot. Has 3 – 4 dining tables inside, 2 – 3 dining tables outside Give orders about 30 minutes preparation time as they’re made fresh & as ordered.

Delicious food, great prices, and you can tell the owners really care about making sure that you enjoy your experience there. Very small with only two tables inside and two outside, but worth it. The eggrolls were divine and much different than what you might be used to from your local Chinese takeout, but they are delicious. The homemade duck sauce is wonderful and the Asian sub was absolutely amazing. I will be back!

One of the best places I’ve dined at in Lancaster. Seriously a hidden gem. The place is kind of a hole in a wall but the rolls here are outta this world. The owners are very sweet and accommodating. They are constantly asking how the food is and what we think of it. They constantly seek feedback so they can continue to further improve their product, this is how businesses should be run. I shared the shrimp & pork spring rolls, original pork & shrimp, yellow roll, cinnamon banana roll and taro roll with my boyfriend. We both loved it. You can definitely taste that these aren’t made by machine but by passion and hard work. All their food is made from scratch even the sauces themselves. If that’s not dedication I don’t know what is. The spring rolls taste pretty standard, there was a good amount of pork and shrimp. It’s slightly different to the summer rolls I get from Vietnamese restaurants with the addition of pork. The egg rolls were all delicious, they take a longer time to arrive cause the owners make it the moment it’s ordered to preserve how fresh it is. The wrap is incredibly crispy, my favorite was the shrimp and pork out of all the egg rolls. The yellow roll tastes a bit like a Chinese egg roll wafer cookie. Based on the texture in the taro roll you can taste how it’s made from scratch, you can taste how the filling was mashed by hand instead of machine. The cinnamon banana roll almost tastes like banana bread in a roll. I really love how all the rolls have their unique sauces and that they’re made fresh and from scratch. My favorites were definitely the savory ones but the sweet ones are worth trying. I highly recommend coming to this place if you’re in Lancaster, it’s the one place you should visit when you’re here. I’ve never met people who were so dedicated to their restaurant. Khom is such a sweet woman, her and her husband love making small talk and asking how their food is. They have a stamp card if you come often and you can score free rolls or catering that way. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town! I can’t wait to try the other savory rolls!

Cozy and intimate dining experience. The owners and chefs are a delightfully friendly couple. There love for delivering quality food is evident in each dish they serve. We found this little mom and pop place through Unilocal and trip advisor while visiting the Amish Country for the weekend. We were definitely not disappointed; the food was AMAZING! We had their vegetable, tofu and shrimp spring rolls. Delicious! I highly recommend the banana coconut cinnamon egg roll! And their smoothies are quite good! Everyone should dine here again and agin! :)

Highly recommended. Found this place via Unilocal and checked it out during recent trip to Lancaster Co. Phoned in our order to go. Original egg rolls(shrimp and pork) were great especially w/the dipping sauce. They weren’t greasy at all. Don’t know why they call them egg rolls though. They are small and really are spring rolls. You can tell by the wrapper(thin and made from rice). The spring rolls on the menu are really summer rolls; you know veggies, noodle and herbs wrapped in rice paper. Confused? No matter; it’s all good. The Spring(summer rolls) we got were chicken. Abundant filling, tasty and a great dipping sauce again. The highlight of our meal was Chicken Curry stew. While it was a bit different than what was listed on the menu(no rice noodles or French bread) it was incredibly delicious. A soupy consistency it contained various veggies, chicken, in a Thai like sauce with just the right amount of heat(spicy that is) Served with rice on the side it came in a quart container. The price was $ 12.95 which seemed a bit steep at first. However it fed three and we all loved it. It also was made fresh to order. Only low point were the fried egg noodles w/shrimp. They were good, not great and really greasy. Also there were like at most 2 shrimp(chopped)in little pieces. Definitely a rip off, especially costing $ 9.50. The owner was very friendly and talkative. All things considered I would definitely return again for the rolls, chicken curry stew and to try another dish or two.
