Very good food, service and prices. I have very high standards and rarely give anyone 5 stars. But ihop really does things right. Very reasonable prices(For example: $ 1 for stack of pancakes), unlimited FREE refills on expensive drinks including letting you take them home. WoW! AWSOME …

We use to like IHops in general, but they started becoming so so. We stopped going for several years. We started going back about a year ago. The location in Palmdale is really good. The service is good and so is the food.

Hubby and I went there for the National Pancake Day on 3⁄8. The service was good. But my stack of pancakes were bad. One side on all three pancakes were a nice brown color. The other side on all three were a light yellow color. Spouse’s pancakes tasted like old oil was used. We went there to support the cause, but we won’t do it ever again. At least not at this location.

I have been at this ihop many times and I bought the chicken noodle soup many times. This time I was given a really small bowl and a small box to put the bowl. The last time I was here the size of the bowl was 2 – 3 bigger. I didn’t even get a spoon or crackers or a bag. If this what ihop is becoming this is the last time I come here. Because I feel I got the bait and switch today.

Service was mediocre. The manager was kind of rude. I asked for a side of hash browns when I asked the price the waiter told me an amount and when I got the tab it was two dollars more. Then when I went to pay the manager told me my total was $ 23.44(ten dollars less than the actual tab) then when she charged the card and wanted me to sign she said $ 33.44 I looked at her and told her that she had just told me it was $ 23.44 and she said no no I said 33.44 I looked at her and she looked away I signed the receipt and walk out. I did t feel like they deserved a tip. Only reason it’s two stars is cause the chef made my food how I wanted it but the side of hash I got was ridiculously small for what they charged

I came tonight to have dinner never had tried it before I order the the potato soup it was amazing and the blue cheese sirloin steak it was cooked to perfection great flavor for sure coming back for dinner again! The service was good really nice girl and the only down part was the A/C too cold.

So the food was ok. I had a blue cheese burger that was pretty tasty. The fries were hot but bland. The wifely liked the salsa. The salsa cost $ 1.09. Her OJ was $ 3.89. The server Alex was pleasant but not super on it. The service was super slow even though the place was darn near empty. It is what it is… what does one expect from an IHOP?

In the debate of Denny’s vs ihop, I am usually team ihop. I just think the food tastes better and there is more to offer. My experience yesterday was not a pleasant one and I will not be returning to this particular location. My friends and I decided to stop in for breakfast. Not only did our waitress not really listen to what we wanted, getting quite a few things wrong in our orders, but she wasn’t very attentive asking if we needed refills or more of anything. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told the manager stepped out. After we complained about the service we received, the waitress and the woman we complained to decided to joke about the situation away from us but not out of ear shot. Very unprofessional. After we left my friend called 3 times trying to talk to a manager and each time she was told the manager had stepped out. Finally today she spoke to one and was offered a gift card for the trouble. The manager seems nice but needs to have a serious talk with her workers about customer service.

My family came here right after church services at the vineyard. Big mistake! We should of walked away when we first walked in. The music was blasting it sounded like you were in a club. We were seated across from where the door of the kitchen is. Every time someone opened the door the music was 10x louder. We asked one of the bus boys if we can move. He keep telling us how sorry he was for the obnoxious music. Our waitress took our order but never once came and asked if we were ok or if we needed refills. As customers were leaving the cook and the waitress whom were responsible for the loud music said their goodbyes to the customers. We ate fast we just wanted to get out of there. We felt uncomfortable. As we left the cook and waitress ignored us. Not once did they apologized for the loud music and never said goodbye and thanking us for coming in. I don’t think they had a supervisor in site. I don’t think I will ever come back to IHOP. I rather stick to Dennys.

The food is always great. They do have limited staff but they work with what they have and it’s good. Most of the people are very friendly there including management. Management always comes up to our table and ask how our food is, which I appreciate. The wait can be a little longer than other places but it’s ok. It’s not a bad wait. I would continue to go here.

We come here once in awhile. The last time service was terrible. Inattentive server who took a smoke break after asking us if we wanted to go boxes. No boxes came. she walked by us on break. We had to get another server to bring us our bill even. This time seems to be better. Lucy it’s quick! She’s the only one working and there are 5 tables going. She’s on it! W used a coupon from the penny saver! The food is always the same which is nice. Hot and quick!

Luckily I had a coupon for a meal free, but this was enough to make me not want to visit Ihop again. I think it is sad when you wait for someone to acknowledge you. There are 10 people all standing around finding things to make themselves busy. It’s like, just seat us so we can stop staring at you. Then it took our waitress a long time to come over and talk to us. I mean, a really long time. I wasn’t sure if she was ever coming. My meal is beyond expensive for what I get(egg substitute, turkey bacon and fruit cup and burnt toast– over $ 8.00) But the most healthiest thing on the menu. Banana pancakes were okay.
