The Happy Penguin Café is pretty nice. They are definitely a local family run place, but they do a good job of what they are doing. With free internet and Stauff’s coffee, I am shocked there aren’t more people from Ohio University Lancaster spending time here between classes as it is directly across the street. The food I have tried has been very tasty and affordable. The coffee has a good flavor and has been fresh every time I have ordered it, even though there have not been many customers.
I will be coming here a bit so I can get more insight into the rest of the menu, but I will say right away that the Cherry Crumble is fabulous in its simplicity and deliciousness.
