OK, so here is an update regarding Hammer Electric. I really wanted to pay these guys good $$ to come over and do some more work. However, after multiple attempts to reach the owner via cell phone, actually finally talking to him and then having him promise me that he would call back (which he never did … TWICE) … I am no longer willing to recommend this company to other Unilocalers. Good reviews must be earned and a good review can easily be lost by shoddy customer ‘service’. VERY disappointed that I was never able to reach these guys (most of the time) to get them out here to do some work for us. Watch my space for a new electrician recommendation.

I paid Hammer to upgrade my fuse box and install wiring for room air conditioners. The work seemed great until the inspector came and found three things that needed changing. In making those repairs, they cracked the stucco all down one wall, mislabeled the fuse box and rain ugly wiring from the box to the ground with no regard for how it looks. I had to pay another electrician to come and label all the fuses because they just wrote down random things instead of taking the time to do it right. Nice guy but his workers are sloppy.

Hammer Electric installed the entire electrical system for our new house we had constructed in Leona Valley in 2009. They were professional, on time and on budget. Ryan and his crew were fantastic, and we continue to use them for other projects, and recommend their services to our friends and family, even for people we know in the San Fernando Valley. They helped out beyond installing the electric service, listened to us, and then came up with suggestions for what would work better. I have been around a long time, and have used many electricians over many years, but as long as I am in their service area, I will always insist on using Hammer Electric.
