Get A Haircut

Took my 11 month old in for a haircut today and they did a great job. I previously took him to cost cutters and they messed up his hair so bad. He is still a baby so I know getting him to sit still and give a perfect haircut is out of the question, but the girl really did an amazing job. She was patient and his hair cut came out adorable. Very happy with his haircut, and will be coming here from now on.

I am not a fake reviewer. I’ve been going here since November and my hair has only looked good once. Crystal and Garrett do not deserve to work there. I specified my wants and needs for my haircuts and both failed expectations.

Best place in the AV to get a haircut, hands down. The great part about it is that everyone is equally talented. Go here.

This place is great I’ve been coming here since ’97– since back in the day. Not only do you get a great haircut for a great price the staff there are awesome too. Heather & Garrett are very cool & so are the Mother & Daughter employees when they’re working too. I tend to close my eyes & meditate and it’s so relaxing. I will only go here for my haircut. Sometimes there’s a wait– but most good places have them. Sometimes you’re lucky & helped right away. I love that they decorate the place during the holidays– especially Halloween the owner is super cool too I always feel great when I leave here & my haircut is excellent. I get compliments all the time — cheers & thanks to you guys

Can’t believe what a different experience I had than other reviewers. When I walked in with my two sons, I got an extremely icy reception from the three barbers. The door locked into an open position and my son didn’t realize it. One of the women working said, extremely annoyed, «Can you shut the door please?» I apologized and shut it right away, but the feeling I got was that we weren’t welcome. This was especially awkward given how close the quarters are. There was no «Be with you in a few minutes» or «how old are you kids?» or any niceties. Just the comment on shutting the door and then we sat there. My kids felt really uncomfortable, and they hate getting their haircut to begin with. I thought, from the description, that this place might turn it around because it sounded so much cooler than Supercuts. At least at Supercuts you have people that greet you and want your money enough to offer some customer service, however.
The cuts they gave my kids were OK, but I told them about their cowlicks and they cut them too short in spite of my communication, so they both have hair sticking up in the back now. When I went to pay for the first one, the woman answered a personal call on her phone and though she was telling the person on the other end that she couldn’t talk at that moment, she proceeded to have a whole conversation anyway. I was standing there with my wallet out and she just looked over at the sign with prices so I guess I was supposed to read her mind. It was just weird. No «hold on a second» to the person on the phone to tell me how much or whispering «that’s ten dollars» or any normal form of human-​to-​human communication. It was like, «There’s a sign over there. Duh!» And when I handed her the money, no thank you, no smile, (and yes, I tipped) — nothing but grabbing my money and continuing on her phone call.
The other woman was the same. Gave her the money including tip, and she didn’t say thank you or crack a smile. Truly one of the coldest exchanges of services for money I’ve had in a long time. I will never take my kids back here again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless they made a huge turnaround on friendliness and general courtesy towards customers. Just because you have a rock and roll theme doesn’t mean you have to have a nasty rock and roll attitude.

Solid haircuts for $ 10. I’ve had waits on Sundays, but mostly because I keep making the decision to show up around lunch time while one of the barbers is gone. Otherwise it’s pretty fast to get in and out, and I’ve never had to do a repair at home. Good atmosphere with lots of stuff to look at while you’re waiting for your cut.

Love this place. Quick, clean and rock and roll (pics of owner with many rock dignitaries line the walls). I saw everyone in here from kids to oldsters. The cutters know their stuff and exude professionalism and confidence. Even if there is a line-​up they move through them quickly and I’ve never had a long wait. I wanna rock!

The place to go for a haircut in Antelope Valley. Friendly staff, open 7 days, $ 10 haircuts, and entertaining if the BATCHO boys are on.

Got my grandson’s first haircut here. Three generations of hair cuts. My husband has been all around the AV paying lots of money for cuts only to be unhappy. This is the place I take my sons, my husband and my grandson came here for the first time today. They were great. Love the Rock memorabilia there, it’s great. Everyone who works there is great, though Audra and JJ are our favorites. We park in the back, come in the back door, after having ordered pizza at Rigatony’s behind them. By the time we are done with our cuts, food is ready and we are off home. This little bribe got my boys to let me cut their hair many times when they just wanted to go home after school.

Quick and reasonable price.

Been coming here for 15 years and as long they’re open I will keep coming back. Everybody here is extremely funny and easy to talk to. Everybody is thorough with the haircuts and I appreciate the time they take to perfect their work. Plus, Garrett should get a raise.

The team here is great and so is the ROCK memorabilia. Fast and efficient, my boys and I all get our cuts there. Even my wife enjoys taking the boys. Thanks

My alternate barber if «The Barber Shop» is closed. They are about $ 1 more at $ 10. But you get a decent haircut here. They are also open up to 6pm most days.
