We cannot express enough gratitude to DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory and their funeral director Randall for taking care of our grandaunt Vickie’s funeral arrangements. We met with Randall and made pre-​arrangements during Vickie’s final days at a hospice. He was very patient with us and explained their entire process as it was our first time planning a funeral. He was respectful that the family was in the grieving process. Within 24 hours after our meeting, our beloved grandaunt passed away, and Randall was efficient in informing the family and making everything so much easier. He was helpful in assisting with the obituary, and we were extremely impressed with everything from the service, the embalming (Vickie looks like she was just sleeping and healthy) and the floral arrangement. My grand aunt was an avid gardener and I explained it would be nice if the flowers can reflect that and not be the typical funerary floral but mix of wild flowers that are celebratory and in shades of purple. He immediately referred a florist that owns a nursery and people could not stop commenting about as her casket looked like it was draped in a botanical garden. It was such a lovely funeral and tribute and DeBord Snyder made it happen. I highly recommend them as it was so personalized and they were just terrific to work with even under such grim circumstance. * I also want to add that Debord Snyder, formerly Kearny Snyder, also took care of the entire Greiner family that my grandaunt married into. Vickie’s father in law was a good friend of Kearny, so they also took care of her husband Elmer’s funeral when he passed away 7 years ago. Vickie was really pleased with their service at that time, so it was natural for us to seek their service as well. They just do a great job overall.
