I came to Lancaster for seminars at LBC and was craving a cheesesteak. I ran across reviews telling me to come here and order a cheesesteak without sauce, so I did. I was more than pleasantly surprised. From the roll it was on to the side of fries, I was blown away. Great deli food, great atmosphere, friendly folks all the way around. I will defiantly come back when I am in Lancaster again!

Fun, unique wraps. Probably the best cheesesteak in Lancaster.

In the area over lunch and used Unilocal to pick a place to eat based on ratings. I stopped after 1:30pm and ordered a small cheesesteak and drink for $ 8.70 total. It came out in less than 5 minutes and was hot. The roll was good with a slightly hard crust and very tasty but I could have used more steak in my sandwich. Overall a good lunch for the price including a small bag of chips with the meal.

Not sure I would recommend this place. Went there for lunch with a friend and the grease got to both of us. I had a chef salad that was very good and very filling. There must have been a pound of meat in this salad. However the fried macaroni and my friends burger and french fries dripped in grease. Maybe it was an off day but I won’t be going back to find out.

Usually love this place but Friday was not so good. Called in an order just before noon for myself and 2 co-workers, told 30 minutes for pick-up. No problem we were planning on similar time frame. Arrived to pick up order, waiting in line noticed the cashier seemed to be «annoyed» to be working. Very slow, lousy personality and worse customer service. Customer in front of me paid with debit card and signed receipt remained on counter the entire time. She slowly collected my order, I asked for chips with the sandwiches-not provided for take out. Bags sandwiches and hand to me, where are the fries I ordered and paid for? Grabs the check and reads it slowly, not talking to me @ all. Slowly wades back to cook, points out missed order and slowly wades back to register, mumbles something about cooking fries and goes to next customer, waited about 5 minutes more, hands me bag with lunch and turns away. No apology, thank you, nothing. Took me 20 minutes to pick up an order I placed now over 40 minutes ago, sandwiches were cold by time I returned to my business. No napkins, cutlery, condiments provided. I spent $ 20.00 on an unsatisfying lunch served with pathetic customer service. It will be quite a while til I give any more business here. Many other places for lunch in the 5 mile radius. Went to website to send an email with my complaints and there is not an option to send an email… wonder why that is?

Second time eating here and once again loved it! got a chicken cheesesteak with sauce on side and kids grilled cheese with fries and a drink. Everything was excellent! Chicken cheesesteak steak didn’t need the sauce, glad I got it on the side. My son actually ate the grilled cheese which doesn’t happen often! It was perfectly grilled on fresh bread, not too crunchy or too soft. Would definitely recommend them and will be back!

Went here for a quick lunch. Inside looks clean and welcoming with the staff members working hard to get food out. The menu has plenty of hot and cold sandwichs. Ordered the hurricane sandwich, which is a cheesesteak with fries, mushrooms and onions for $ 8 as takeout. Yeah it is big and packed to the max of all the goodies. Large enough to share. Overall this place has many sandwiches that is good for its price. Would come here again for lunch.

I’m actually writing this review from inside cravings because… It took a while to make my sandwich, which initially pissed me off cause I was starving. Then the kid workin. Behind that counter brought it, apologized, and sent me home with a free sandwich! What more can you ask for in that situation? Food is good and fresh tasting. good pastrami and corned beef for Lancaster. Charming, sandwich shop atmosphere from days of yesteryear before everything became a subway

The cheesesteaks are pretty good for Lancaster but make sure you specify no sauce. This is one of the few places around that uses Amoroso rolls, which make a huge difference. The grilled chicken salad is also really good for the price. Could use an upgrade on the interior although it seems much more of a take-out place.

This place has one of the best chicken cheesesteaks. Other than that it’s everything you would expect from a local sandwich shops. During lunch it’s packed with people in suits,(myself included) because it’s in the middle of a business park. I would definitely recommend take out during lunch as the building gets hot and packed with hungry professionals.

Ever since Frank’s Place closed next to the hospital a couple of years ago this has been my go to for a fix of greasy ass eastern PA hometown grill cooking. The cheesesteaks are perfect and the staff is always wonderfully helpful. The homemmade Greek food they’ve got on the side is always perfectly executed, most likely by some authentic Yaya. My only complaint is that it can get a bit crowded in there for lack of sit down space. I recommend getting your delicious grub TOGO!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Lancaster(go there once a week). The menu is unique and cost effective. It’s perfect for lunch or a low key dinner. My personal recommendations are Yanni’s wrap, any pizza, burgers and fries, fried zucchini sticks, Litsa’s(turkey croissant), Kat’s Delight, and definitely the cheesesteaks — as good as Philly. The only potential downside is that it’s hard to find(good for me, keeps the tourists away), and if you eat there you’ll probably walk out smelling like a sub. So basically if you want to eat awesome food and save money, go to Cravings.
