CLD Pool & Spa

Had problems during the construction of our pool and a year later we continue to have problems. The biggest problem is lack of communication. We call and call with absolutely no response. Have talked to other customers who are having similar issues.

Horrible, never returned call on estimate on a job I wanted to do. Will be calling someone else

I hate to put down small companies, but I had the worst experience ever! Candy was excellent at first appeared to be on top of everything and had great communication skills. After starting the job on my house his crew would show up after noon and leave before 3pm. The work on my house took several weeks to be completed (very small job). I was so upset and irritated that I didn’t even have Candy’s company finish the work. Just know that when conducting business with candy he has horrible communication skills, rejects you phone calls and will take days to respond. Candy also has workers that leave a sloppy messy job. I had to hire people to come and pick up the debris they left behind. Might be a good deal, but hopefully you have lots of patience and aren’t in a rush to get the work done!

**Beware of this company**
Called Cande Lopez directly to have some concrete restained, a new pool light put in, new deck o seal, and had him look for a pool vacuum line that was probably covered with my pool plaster. Price I got was decent but now I know why. First few days his guys came in the morning and worked until the end of the day. Cande told me job would be about two days to complete. A week later they were still at my house not showing up until 1 or 2pm and leaving by 4pm. No wonder nothing was getting done! He finally realized my pool did not have a pool vac line so he agreed to put one on. When he did the job he put two large pvc pipes coming out of the ground. This was not how I agreed to have the job done. When I talked to him about it he told me «I made the decision to do it this way thinking it was the best.» Who makes a decision without consulting with the owner??? When it came time to acid wash and stain my concrete, his guys stained by stainless steel outdoor refrigerator door. When asked about this, he denied they did it. For about 4 days no one showed up to do any work. When I tried calling him he would never answer but only reply in voice message. After the fourth day he called saying he was sick and that is why no one had shown up. He didn’t bother having anyone call to keep me in the loop as to what was going on. The pool light was installed but after a few days I started noticing a rust stain on my pebble Tec from what I assume the pool light wasn’t properly sealed. Of course he didn’t reply to me when I attempted to contact him about it. He was quick to have someone contact me for the payment though. Stay away from this company, communication sucks and cheap work. Save yourself the headache, pay a little bit more and get what you want. You won’t get it from this company!!!

You simply can not beat Cande Lopez! Way beyond his prices (that I have found to be unbeatable) his talented eye and his ability to make your front yard or backyard space breathtaking has never disappointed! We have used him multiple times throughout the years, which has led to friends and neighbors reaching out to us to get his contact information. We just moved again and without a doubt it will be CLD landscape that will design our new yard! He has become more diverse over the years in his ability to create beautiful looks that go best with he style of your home. No «cookie cutter» pools! He has come back for simple wear and tear repairs over the years at a moments notice. We only moved 3 months ago and a sprinkler broke in our pre existing front yard and we didn’t know what to do so we called Cande and he came over to help us after dark to fix a sprinkler he didn’t even install. I honestly couldn’t recommend this company more if your looking for quality at an affordable price!

This has to be the least professional, most unreliable company I’ve ever experienced! They have done work for other people I know and it is definitely inexpensive… But expect unreliable scheduling, poor communication, and irresponsible or non existent execution… We decided to give him a chance (even with warnings from friends) because of the price… They came out to look at the space and to take measurements… We have called repeatedly for over a month to candy directly, to his office and his son (his designer)… We got excuses for a week and then never anything! Don’t give this guy a deposit!!! You can’t trust someone who can’t even follow up on simple communication!!!

Forget 5 stars CLD deserves way more than 5 stars. CLD team without a doubt are the best! We are so happy with the work of art they did! Wouldn’t expect any less from Cande Lopez. We have seen some of his previous work like the work he has done for the Antelope Valley Fair, and could not have chosen a better designer. Candy Lopez is a true artist, he is a master when it comes to designing a dream backyard. We would have never been able to create our dream backyard without him. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted and more. CLD pays attention and is on task of every single detail along the way. I just can’t express how amazing Cande Lopez and the whole CLD team is. There was so much work to be done and they handled everything making the process run as fast and smoothly as possible. We can now enjoy our beautiful backyard and we will forever be grateful to CLD. If you want the best Cande Lopez is the one to call!

Cande Lopez and his team just completed a brand new front walkway with pavers and pilasters at our home. They did an amazing job! From start to finish they were the best. Everyone on that team was so pleasant and helpful at every step. I highly recommend CLD pool and spa for any work needed ! I rate them five stars all the way !

Candy lopez is amazing, best price, best pool builder ever. You will get everything you want without having to compromise. candy was ten thousand less than anybody with everything I wanted. When some of the other contractors found out Cand’s bid some did not even call back
