Came here over 7 times and tried out most of their barbers. 2 of them at least twice and all i can say is inconsistent work by them and always had long hairs sticking out of everywhere. Also after going to a different barbershop and get the real hook up i realized how poor of job they had done prior. I felt like they acted as if they where doing me favor by cutting my hair just because they are cheaper then other barbers around although im a good tipper, came here cause its in walking distance from my house but ill take a drive instead and pay a couple of dollars more for complete satisfaction @ the chop shoppe!

I’ve been back here a few times since my last review. The hours are good, the staff are friendly, but the quality of the barber is highly variable. Ironically, the bald barber seems to be the best. I have since found another place closer to me for a haircut, but would not have any reservations about going back to the barber shop.

this is a REAL barber shop (i.e., no reservations, sometimes/​some days/​certain times of the day there is a wait), but these are professional barbers (not a bunch of overly pomaded douchebags who opened a shop to have a place to hangout with their friends) working in a family friendly environment (no public cursing or adult conversations around kids), so it is WELL worth the wait if there is one. Find your barber and stick to him/​her… just don’t choose mine… heh heh…

Came in for a haircut but first time back in a long time. Place needs some TLC tho. Talk about dirty and run down, I mean the bathroom is disgusting. Other than that good haircut quality and cheap but fix the place up sheeesh!

Great haircuts, every barber is skillful. They can pretty much do any cut as long as you explain what you want. The wait time is short during the day. They have arcade games for kids and I always pick up a Forbes magazine from their huge magazine rack. Teresa, shelly and angel are the best.

The wait is never too long at this Barber Shop even though they tend to be packed all the time. Everybody waits for Gabe, and he is the guy to go to if you want to get in and out quickly. He also does the best flat tops and crew cuts, even though everyone there does a great job.
It’s in a sketchy neighborhood (I used to live there so I can say that), but it’s worth it for a good, cheap haircut. They have opened up several other locations around the Antelope Valley, but I’ve never been to them.
