If you are looking for plants and trees, this is the best place in Antelope Valley, period. They grow stuff that is native to AV, and can live in this tricky climate. The little old man who runs the place is just as quirky as the old ranch house and barn like structures. He isn’t there to make friends with you, but to simply sell you what you came for, and provide history, if asked. Strangely, even with his matter of fact attitude, I think he is the kind of man I’d like to have a beer with.
Anyway, we got a great tree for $ 10, and fun hour of walking around and learning about this great facility.
