I tried the Bruschetta Pizza which wasn’t as good as it looked. I came in second time to order the Brooklyn Full House, which was tastier. Overall, I’ve had better pizza. I do like the thinnest of their pizza crust though

Excellent pizza. Went with my family and had three pizzas: the Gourmet White(our favorite), the Cheesesteak, and the Meatlovers. Crust was perfect.

I have enjoyed Slice of Brooklyn since they came to this location. However the last visit was not at all pleased. There an employee with a guitar strumming and making up jingles. If it had continued I would have spoken up since it was inappropriate. Then when I went to pay an employee was smoking or vaping. The way he looked not sure it was nicotine! I will go back but if that crew on will not stay.

I stopped in for lunch to get some Brooklyn style pizza. Unfortunately it was dry and the service was bad. I’ve had real Brooklyn pizza. This is not it.

Food is excellent. Some of the best Pizza in Lancaster. Server was delightful and helpful(even though it was her first day). Pizza took over a half hour to come out of the kitchen, and was warm, not hot. Had to leave without eating and take it to go because we had been there and hour and needed to get home. Great pizza, great service, took some time from the kitchen. They did comp me a soda which we were appreciative of. Don’t be afraid to wait if you go, but it’s worth it.

BP and I ordered a large cheese pie and chicken tenders with fries for dinner tonight. The order was ready for pick-up when we made it to the restaurant just minutes before they closed. The staff were friendly and gave us plenty of paper plates, crushed red pepper flakes, and nice Parmesan cheese. I was really impressed by the Parm cheese. It really was soft and melted as soon as it hit the pie. I have never seen this before! The pie itself was unforgettable. Not greasy, super cheesy, and I loved the crust. It was thin and extremely crispy. The dough was wonderful. I also really enjoyed the flavorful tomato sauce. The chicken tender appetizer definitely hit the spot. I had a craving and it was satisfied. The chicken was perfectly tender, all white meat, and had a nice crust that was not overly thick or salty. I also liked the fries a lot. They were soft, but in a good way. The zesty barbecue sauce that came with the meal was a great accompaniment. Delightful and delicious! I can’t wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow!

Just had lunch at this tucked away pizzaria on the touristy strip of route 30 in Lancaster. I had a late lunch and wanted something Italian-y and to sit and read while eating. It was a little disconcerting to pull up to this place and see no other cars in the parking lot. I figured out which door was the entrance and parked. Upon entering the building the aroma of tomatoes and bread was like a warm welcome. It smelled amazing in there. I was hopeful and excited. The hostess gave me my choice of seating. Really. I chose to sit in the room furthest from the door. I chose a booth and started to read the menu. It’s big. There are lots of choices. I started to look around and really appreciate the décor. It’s all about NYC, I get it. It’s kind of like getting clobbered over the head with the New Yorkiness. Having grown up across the river I could appreciate most of it. It was loud and brash and in my face(like many New Yorkers I know! :)) I did think the 911 wall was a little out of place in a restaurant. I don’t really want to be reminded of a national tragedy while I eat but whatever. In reading the menu, I could see that the prices were a little high for the area but I had yet to see food, so maybe the portions are huge or something. I decided on a calzone and some fries. I ordered the prosciutto calzone, which also had artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers inside. The hostess/my server then asked if I wanted anything else, which led me to think that maybe the calzone was small, so I stuttered out, «um, some fries then too, I guess?» My calzone was not small. When it came to my table, it was probably a 12″ half circle of beautifully browned crust with a bit of cheese peeking out the vents in the top. It smelled like heaven. I also had a huge basket of nicely browned, crispy fries. I was a little disappointed that they were not fresh fries, but rather high-quality frozen 3⁄8th cut french fries with a nice sprinkle of salt. It was way too much food for me and I was regretting the french fry add on even though they were delicious. The calzone was absolutely delicious. My only complaint, and it’s a small one, was that the prosciutto inside could have been cut into smaller pieces. I took a bit and pulled out most of what was in the one half of the calzone. Hopefully this place gets more business as the tourist season hits the area. The food is too good for it to not do well. The biggest issue I see is that their prices are high. The lunch I described, plus a coke, was about $ 20.
