dig yoga features Wonderful, knowledgeable teachers in an elegant space with beautiful bamboo floors, large windows which let in great light and room to move. It is located a former factory space on the hip north side of town. Lots of parking behind the building. Worthy.

So, so, so great. Once a year I drag my husband to yoga for my birthday. We were away in Lambertville for the weekend, so Dig was our studio of choice. After a 10 mile run on the tow path on Saturday, we were more than ready for a good stretch. We got that, and much more. The studio was beautiful, the staff was friendly and the instructor was one of the best I’ve ever had. He gave me some really thoughtful adjustments that will change my practice(of 10 years). We had a lot of fun trying the inversions at the end. I don’t think I would recommend this class to beginners, however. It was supposed to be mixed level but it seemed very intermediate to advanced. I’m kind of a yoga snob with so many great studios in my area(Hoboken/JC), but I’m already wondering when I can get back to Dig.

If you are thinking of taking your first yoga class or have been practicing for years, this is a place worth visiting. Dig Yoga, located in an old factory which makes for beautiful studio space on North Union St., is a gem in the charming city of Lambertville. They offer a full schedule of classes for everyone from beginners to experienced yogis. There’s plenty of parking out back. Dig has also started offering Pilates, which nicely complements the yoga. All the teachers here really know their stuff and will be sure that you maintain healthy alignment and avoid injury. Dig also has a Philadelphia studio. Check out their website for more information.
