These people treat their excellent customers poorly. On the day your payment is due, if you are late (even due to automatic bank payment issues) they will lock you out and lock up your unit preventing access. Extremely poor customer service.

Life changes constantly and when you’re forced to make a drastic move like I was and make it quickly, I chose W.A.S.S. Why? Because I knew people who had used them before. I kept my stuff in a 10′ by 10′ unit for four years! I recently got all of it out and everything was in tact and preserved perfectly. This is a family owned business and they couldn’t be more accommodating. It was my only experience with a storage unit and I am very pleased. I pray I never have to put my stuff in storage again but if I did, I would use this company again.

Storage facilities do not get any better than West Alameda! I have done business with them on three occasions and it is such a good feeling to deal with a family operated company. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! They go out of their way to make sure customers are happy. In this day and age that is an almost impossible thing to find. I would recommend this to be the storage facility that everyone uses. If you are going to a different area ask the staff, they have different storage facilities in various locations. I will continue to use them for all my storage needs!

Pretty good overall experience. They let you borrow their truck to move in. They have a gate that doesn’t require getting in and out of your vehicle. The units are typical, but bring your own light since they didn’t have lights installed. The staff was pretty helpful and friendly.
