Out of all this Starbucks in the Lakewood area, this one is my favorite, and that is saying a great deal since I actually live directly across the street from another store! I love the atmosphere of Starbucks which always provides a great place to get some work done with an exceptional cup of coffee, strong wi-fi, and the restrooms are always clean. This store has a lot of space so I have never had to worry too much about finding a place to work. They also have an abundance of plugs which is not the case in all stores. Finally, this store is unique in the country for their Goodwill initiative which supports finding jobs in the community. This store also provides support to Joint-Base Lewis-McChord and does a lot to assist Veterans in the community. Many of the people who work here are Veterans or are still serving in the Reserves or are Military spouses. While so many people just talk about serving Veterans this store is REALLY doing it, and doing it VERY well. Keep up the good work. Great coffee, great people and great environment.

This is the worst location I have ever been to! I have been in the drive through for over 20 minutes and have time to write a review. It’s like this every time. They are out of white chocolate too! Never again will I come to this one. And there’s STILL2 cars I front of me!!!

So this is always my Starbucks of choice because it’s right near the freeway and it’s a drive thru! The customer service is pretty hit or miss– and there coffees are always pretty good if you like Starbucks! I prefer the smaller coffee stands but they got me with there membership card. Okay anyways so there is a girl that works the drive thru, she has curly hair and it’s kinda reddish brown… She is amazing! Super friendly! The only one that EVER! Tries to engage with me about anything and today she admitted that she gave my drink to the previous car so she upgraded me to the larger size! How sweet :) I mean if she didn’t say anything I would never have known!

Definitely not one of the better locations. This place is slightly less of a drive than the one located in the Lakewood Town Center from my workplace which makes it a little more convenient for coffee runs, however, the last SEVERAL times, there have been issues with the drinks, the food and the service. They are currently undergoing some staffing/training changes but I don’t know if it will make a difference. My last 3 experiences were: 1. Ordered 4 drinks of which were repeated back to me. Only received 3. Had to wait for the 4th to come out. 2. Ordered a green tea frap and a protein bistro box… the grapes in the bistro box were molding! The good thing is that I called a manager and they were able to refund my card immediately, but the bad/sad part is that it shouldn’t have happened AND I WASSUPERHUNGRY. Lol. 3. Today, I ordered 2 of the exact same drink(one as a tall and one as a grande) with a chocolate chip cookie and a bagel with cream cheese. Once I got to the window, the lady apologized and said they were doing some training and I said that was okay. But then it looked as if they forgot my drink completely. They only charged me for one order and she said thanks… where’s my food? She ran and got my bagel. Where’s my cookie? She ran and got that too. SMH, Starbucks… get it together! I was in line a little longer than I expected to be.

The service was awesome. The coffee wasn’t! I drink starbucks every day in Lakewood town center, so i know what my drink should taste like. This drink was bad! Would of brought back, but had fussy newborn in car.

I have been coming here regularly after their recent renovation. now they have more seatings and tables inside and they also have several seatings outside. Their coffee is good and their service is up to quality Sbux standard. Their coffee is consistently good.

I go to Starbucks every single morning before work and lately have been stopping off at this location. Now here’s my problem: SERVICE! I get the same drink every single day: a grande caramel machiatto, iced, with extra extra caramel on the BOTTOM of the cup. My order always gets repeated back to me at the intercom but when I get to the window there is never any extra caramel on the bottom. They always just add extra drizzle at the top. My next problem, employees reaction when I tell them I ordered extra, extra caramel on the bottom of the cup. Such as «oh, well usually the extra caramel is drizzled on the top and sides of the cup not on the bottom» or «you just have to wait a few moments for the caramel on the top to sink to the bottom». I have ordered this same drink for the past year now and no other Starbucks has a problem with adding the caramel into an empty cup to make the extra extra caramel be at the bottom of the cup as requested. This Starbucks is a great location but I cannot stand the service !!!

Waited in the drive thru for 9 minutes to get my drink, which was made wrong. Not happy! was on the freeway before I took a drink — too late to go back and get it fixed.

So this review is not really for the product as it is for the staff; and possibly policies and procedures. It’s Starbucks, so like McDonalds, the product is fairly consistent. I go to Starbucks every day, literally. This particular location is not in my weekday rotation. Weekdays I grab a cup and go. Weekends we sit, sip coffee, and hang out for a while. Around at least an hour usually and occasionally visit this location. The reason for my review: During a weekend we chose this place to hang and sip. It’s bigger now that they gobbled up the defunct check cashing store. We like that. There are usually lots of seats available, where there weren’t before and the people watching is pretty good. Great, we’re sitting sipping, coffee is fine(McDonalds theory) soaking up wifi and people watching. At the counter, a young black woman orders. She tells them she’s a «partner». Code word-she works for Starbucks. They refuse to accept her employee number and tell her she must provide some credentials. A card or something. Granted, the whole time she waited in line she was«selling» the other folks. Making suggestions, providing input, explaining products and selections and really doing a great job of informing the customers in line. After she left empty handed because she lacked credentials we heard one of the workers tell the other that they have to have their«card». Not sure what that is but the fact we could here her telling them 15 ft away was inappropriate. So my BF and I discussed this after she left empty handed. She could have memorized a number. It’s doubtful, but possible. Low and behold… about 20 minutes later this same young black woman reappeared with her credentials. She got her coffee., finally. I’m writing this for two reasons. I think this young lady went out of her way to come back to this location and PROOVE she was a partner. I’m sure in 20 minutes she probably passed at least 3 other locations. Secondly. I was at another location this morning getting my to go cup and a white, mid 20’s young man was in front of me. He placed his order, it was tallied and he told the clerk«I’m a partner». He gave a number… no questions asked, no card produced, and was on his way. Get your policies in line or your setting yourselves up for a lawsuit!

It had been so long since I had gone to a Starbucks, that when I pulled up to order a coffee, I totally blanked on what I wanted to order. The gal who took my order was incredibly patient with me, helped make suggestions, and was 100% a true sweetheart! When I got to the window, she was genuinely interested in how I was, noticed that I was packed for a road trip, asked me about my trip, and when she handed me my coffee, she made sure that I tried it, and liked it before I left. I was so impressed, and I realized that her sweet, bubbly attitude, really put me in a good mood for my trip, and that is how every person should treat one another, with so much respect and kindness for strangers. This is not the first really good trip that we’ve had here either. A while ago, I bought a few huge hot chocolate containers for a soccer game. They were hot, and ready the minute that we got there, they made sure that we had all of the cups, lids, napkins, ext., for every kid; they pumped my kids up for their games, and wished them the best of luck for their game. I wish that I lived closer, I’d go much more often. Thanks so much! Everyone should follow your examples.

SO funny. I stepped inside and was immediately greeted by an overly cheery barista guy. He smiles and says, «Hi, how are you!» I smiled back and said, «I’m good, how are you?» He smiles again and says«I am great thanks» (okay I don’t remember the exact lines but it consisted of those words). I stood idle in front of the menu, wondering what should I get this time, i usually get the same things. I meet eyes with the guy again and he smiles and says, «Hi, how are you!» in the exact tone as the first time.(repeat steps 2 – 4) I finally, scoot up towards the register(about 1 – 2 feet) and I am ready to order. He waits patiently, smiles, and says«Hi, how are you!» [again for the third time]. (repeat steps 2 – 4 again) I order and he says, «thanks! hope you enjoy your day» I said, «thanks! you too!». What a nice fella. That honestly made my day worthwhile. I don’t think all the employees here are THAT friendly but this specific experience requires 5 stars!

Not a supporter of Starbuck’s much, as I really don’t like the coffee but they offer other options that I enjoy such as the teas. As you know since they don’t use Hershey for the chocolate the kids cocoa’s are bleh as my babygirl calls it:) We visited this location a couple times last week as it was close to the location she goes to during the summer, and the spot itself is in a great area and the baristas are decently friendly. The inside was pretty spacious and comfy and we were able to eat a little breakfast and chat before our day began. Overall this was a pretty nice location.

This is my work Location, as for you Starbucks Haters I don’t care stay away that leaves more for me, I drink drip and I know what I am gonna get and its better than a truck stop any day I go to this Starbucks more than any other location, as it is right by my work, and it has hours that work with mine 4:30 am till Midnight and there is room in the parking lot for me to pull in with my Semi and get back out easily, actually there are a few 18 wheelers that come in to this location for that reason, and that the lobby is open as we can’t fit through the drive thru with a 18 wheeler
