The Screw Factory is tucked away in a forgotten corner of Lakewood south of Madison Park. I expected a building similar to 78^th Street Studios upon arrival. Screw Factory seems to be bigger and it is a lot more cavernous. The building opens up to the public only a few times a year and the last event was for last minute holiday gift shopping. I had a great time wandering through the labyrinth and checking out the various studios and temporary pop-up vendors. I ran into my high school ceramics teacher (Mrs. Fannin) there. If you hear about an event at the Screw Factory, you should check it out.
