RTD Federal Center Station

I love this new light rail station! I’m so excited that they are creating new stations. I ride this light rail to and from school, and it’s super convenient if I wanna get downtown too! The busses pick up right next to the train, so I can get to work one way or the other. This place is very clean, especially when compared to some of the light rail stations downtown. There is plenty of parking too! I don’t think I’ve ever seen this parking lot full to maximum capacity! This place gets a thumbs up from me!

A new light rail, need I say more? Excellent parking spots and a very clean place in comparison to some light rail stations. The W line stops over here and takes me to school which is very nice on my new car with putting less mileage on it. I’m a huge fan of this place and can’t wait to see the new light rails coming soon!

No complaints here. Easy, clean, convenient. What more could you want from city Metro transit?

I’m a little jealous of this station. There’s a light rail coming through about every 15 minutes. Jeffco only sees a light rail every half hour. The call n ride comes through here and so do a few bus routes if you need a connection. It’s about a half hour ride into Denver from here. There’s a free parking lot if that’s your preferred mode. It’s reasonably well lit at night and there’s usually quite a few people.

Great location. They hub most of the local buses east and west here too.
I like that its a quick turnaround here, they have multiple ticket kiosks, its close to the hospital and business on Union and the Federal Center.
Very organized and some parking although not a ton.
I noticed that they are also updating the landscaping to make sidewalk and stair access easier from Union.

I like the location of the light rail to my office. And all the places to grab a quick bite to eat. Like Jasons Deli. And the amount of different bus routes that come into the Federal Center Station. Its clean and well lit and lots of parking. Plus if you slip and fall The Hospital is within hobbling distance.

Busy day… that is on the day after the opening of the W rail and happened to visit on the day of free transit on said rail. Well, I was not able to ride the whole line because it was ridiculously busy on this day, but nonetheless it was a fun experience with all of the vendors at each stop. I must admit that these vendors won’t be along each stop in the future, but this line was much needed. The other lines can definitely aid in Denver’s transit system, so let’s hope they get this going soon.
Also, if you needed, this stop spits you out near St. Anthony’s Hospital. Should you need it, there is a bit of a distance from the stop and the building, but it’s a way to get there if you needed it.
