The two traits I look for in a hairstylist are efficiency and confidence in their skills. Lorna has both of these in abundance!
I had partial for foils, deep conditioning treatment, haircut, and blow dry & style completed in under two hours. Everything turned out wonderfully, and I believe I have found my new hairstylist!

Today I went in for a color and a trim with Jane. This was my first time at this salon, and I thought I’d take a chance. Jane is a sweetie, and she took my appointment at the last minute so I especially appreciate her flexibility. I have brown hair, and for years I’ve been adding red to it so it appears more of an auburn color. I decided that for the summertime I’d like to lighten my hair a few shades, which is what I Jane and I discussed. She helped me pick out a custom blend of colors that would achieve what I was wanting (I have such a hard time trying to imagine those little color samples on my hair). Jane did a very thorough job, but my hair looked darker when I left than when I went in. Because it is red it will fade, and the washed out color I had on my hair before will probably make it appear a bit lighter. It looks really good! I just didnt feel like I got exactly what I asked for. I am giving the salon 4 stars because I had a great experience with Jane, my hair looks good, and her prices were great. I am leaving the 5^th star off because I actually was hoping for a slightly different hair color for the summertime.

Bonnie L. does amazing work! I have been going to Pacesetters for about 15 years now. Never disappointed! I usually get colored highlights and a few colored extensions. Classy salon inside and out. I had my hair color lightened from my dark brown to a golden brown and couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

Lorna Bermudez is a master stylist who does an excellent job. She listens to your ideas of style preference and her color match skills is top notch. She is willing to work with you on whatever temporary challenges you might be facing with your hair and she shows a true willingness to help in any way possible to make your hair treatment a great experience. I highly recommend Lorna. The place is very nice inside and all the staff seem very professional.

Pacesetters is in a mundane sort of location at Garrison and 6^th in Lakewood and so I kept driving past and never going in. I finally did stop in for a quick shampoo and style and have been hooked ever since. Lorna really knows what she’s doing and is a blast to talk to as well. She does my keratin treatments now, as well as color, cuts and styles and also takes care of my daughters’ hair. All of us are happy, get lots of compliments, have styles we can manage and the prices are reasonable. The other stylists and staff at Pacesetters are pleasant and fun and the atmosphere inside is lovely. I see a lot of men come in for their haircuts, too. Also, Monica does great aesthetics and makeup. Give them a try!

First off, I want to thank Lorna for her honesty, this is the sign of a good hairstylist.
She asked why my hair was so damaged, I gave her various reasons/​excuses. She gave me advice on how to style my hair in various ways that will keep it from getting destroyed. Priceless.
She asked how I wanted my hair cut, based on the great reviews on Unilocal about the salon and her specifically, I decided I trusted her, and gave her the OK to chop it off. She warned me of how different it would be, I told her to go for it. She did an outstanding job!!!
Conversation ranged from places we lived to boys and work. She has a great personality and is fun to talk to.
I had a groupon, cut and conditioning treatment for $ 25, originally $ 70. The appointment took a little over an hour because she was so thorough and clearly passionate about her work. I was going to tip her $ 10, after how well the appointment went, I gave her $ 20 instead.
She has various referral and return visit incentives. I didn’t need the incentives, I already planned on coming back.
She is extremely experienced, honest, funny, and lively. My hair turned out great!

I went to Pacesetters as I was referred there from someone with awesome hair! I needed to get my blonde refreshed and was possibly thinking some low lights prior to my visit. Being very picky with my hair and most importantly with the blonde color I receive, it was crucial that I had a stylist who specialized in blonde and was a pro at it! I am pleased to say that I was more than happy with the color I received from Nataliya! She knew exactly what I wanted and so far its only been 3 days since I have gotten it done and I’ve already been complemented each day on my hair color. I am happy to have now found a amazing stylist, who wont disappoint! I highly recommend Nataliya, plus she is a a lot of fun and easy to talk with!

She is always fun and does an absolute wonderful job with my hair! About a year ago, I did a Keratin smoother at a different salon and it was disastrous! I was a little skeptical to do the Keratin smoother again, but Lorna assured me that she would take care of me and SHE DID! It was a great experience, as Lorna really knows what she is doing and uses the best of products! My hair turned out beautiful! I walked out of the Pacesetters with strong, smooth hair and a cute new hair cut.
I receive many compliments on my hair and would recommend Lorna to anyone and everyone! I will definitely continue to use Lorna!

FINALLY a hair stylist that I can use FOREVER. Lorna B did a fantastic job cutting my hair last week. I never thought I would write a review on a hair stylist as I grew up forcing my mother to cut my hair on a monthly basis after having numerous incompetent hair stylist that didn’t know what they were doing.
Being in the service industry I can appreciate great service. Lorna delivered great service and went above and beyond my expectations. I have a very busy schedule at times and she was able to adjust to my busy schedule last minute with not much notice at all. Thanks Lorna!

Lorna Bermudez is an absolutely awesome stylist. I’ve been going to the same haircutter for a long time, and my first cut with her could not have been more comfortable during it. I’m not finicky with my hair, but Lorna amazed me with the styling. She has a great combination of advice and input from me, and everything turned out great. Give her a call for a great cut.

Lorna Bermudez has been my stylist for over 9 years. She is incredibly talented — both with cut and color. There have often been times that I wanted to change my hairstyle but didn’t know what I really wanted and gave her carte blanche to come up with something. That could be terrifying — but not with Lorna! She always delivered and I have always been thrilled. I have even had stylists come up to me in public and ask me who does my hair. They always tell me, «Wow, she really is talented. She does a great job.» Lorna, you are so missed and loved in Atlanta! Colorado: make an appointment now!

I called yesterday and set up an appointment for color and a cut. I had been to one other stylist here who was OK, but did not really do what I wanted with my color. This time I was booked with Tina. She is about as good as it gets. I’m in my 50s and my hair was too long and too blond, even though I’ve asked for darker undertones in recent visits to other people. I decided to go with a longer bob cut and she fixed my color. It is absolutely wonderful! I feel like I had a makeover and my hair looks fantastic. She is someone who really, really listened to me and not only was the color amazing, the cut is too. I’ve been to many hairdressers in Denver and I have never been WOWed by anyone — even the really expensive ones. Tina is a really nice lady, and I will be back. I hope she never leaves. Also, this is a nice salon and the people are friendly. If you have been seeking something new that is not ridiculously priced, go here and ask for Tina!

Penny is awesome. She is a master of color. I have been going to her for eight years and she always keeps me fresh looking and tells me if she thinks something won’t look or work correctly with my hair type. I wouldn’t dream of going somewhere else.
