Stay away, Stephani is a terrible waitress. Ordered drinks and the kids food, before I could order my food the kids food was here. When I got my food I asked for a box and the check knowing what was to come. First coffee room temp, 2nd coffee had ground in it. I also had to rip a napkin in half to share it because she was never coming back. Oh ya the food was a step below McDonald’s.

This place is not worth coming to. Cook needs cooking lessons. Carrots hard noodles over cooked corn bread dry. WTH is going on here

Free birthday meal #1 Signed up for Marie Calendars E-club which includes a free breakfast meal. Since I was at work I called to see if I can order take out. The host on the phone helped me out and said that I didn’t need to print out the coupon which was great. When my lunch time came around, I quickly went over. The manager was super sweet and I just showed him my coupon on my phone and he handed me the food — I was all set to go! I love that they didn’t ask a million questions. I love breakfast and this was really good. I had the Marie’s Magnificent Six meal. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The scrambled eggs and sausage were delicious too. Yay for free breakfast!

Went here for the first time and loved it. The staff was super friendly. My waitress Lizabeth was wonderful. She recommended the potato cheese soup and I feel in love. I ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo and my boyfriend had the Ultimate Frisco Burger. I was so stuffed from the soup, bread and salad bar I took my food me and had no room for pie. Since it was my first time the manager hooked me up with a piece of pie. I chose apple my favorite. I will definitely be back. FYI the cornbread is to die for.

Ehhh, three stars. Came with my sister, parents and great-uncle who hadn’t been in years. Place was small and super empty. We were seated immediately. We were brought cornbread which I was surprised was good and actually wanted more of. However, I was disappointed that tater tots were an option for sides for everything on the menu. I love tater tots, but personally don’t think of them as a classy side at a sit-down restaurant. However, my longhorn burger was really good. And the apple pie I got to take home(because I was stuffed from cornbread and good-sized burger) was also good. It’s nothing to write home about, but if I was on the area I definitely wouldn’t be against eating here again.

Very dissatisfied with the salad. Very Bland!!! The two blonde ladies in the front were amazing by helping me with my pie order!

Our group of 11 family members had a Christmas brunch of sorts(some ordered breakfast food, others ordered lunch fare) here this morning. Tracey was our waitress, and she took good care of us! The food was excellent all around! We had a gift exchange, as is our tradition, and some of the other customers got in on the fun. One couple made a bet as to how we were all related. I helped them settle the bet by explaining who was who. This is a well-run restaurant, and all of us enjoyed our two hours there. It is not as fancy as some MC’s, but the atmosphere was fun & friendly. This location might just become part of our annual tradition!

Horrible service as soon as we walked in. No greeter at the stand. Once we have our name down were told 15 minute wait. I walk through and notice there are 6 tables with dirty dishes on them that have not been bussed. When I come back tables still haven’t been touched and another couple is waiting at the stand to be greeted. The greeter was just hanging out in the kitchen and no one that was waiting had been seated. Then the greeter comes out and tells the couple waiting to put their names down that they don’t serve breakfast after 11 when their menu clearly states they serve breakfast all day. Just a horrible experience. We didn’t even stick around to eat.

Food was ok, too bad my wife’s food didn’t get put in until 5 or so minutes after my kids and I received ours. Asked our server for both waters and milks for the kids. Waters didn’t come out with the milks, when our food came out I asked for water again, no water… I know we’re in a drought but jeeze. I had to get up to get the waters, if the place was jam packed busy I would understand, nope try three tables. Pies only folks, that’s all good olé Marie’s is good for… I’m sure there are good servers here we just weren’t blessed with one. Gave them a chance, can’t touch the service of any of the other restaurants in the area. Georges, Super Mex, Chilis, Black Angus, Outback, Elephant Bar, Mimi’s, Round Table, Souplantation or Home Town Buffet. All better choices. To our food server… yes we tipped you, maybe food serving isn’t your cup of tea. Had to ask for refills both times, btw.

Came in last night to have dinner with my sweetheart and we were not disappointed at all. Well let me just say that Shelly are server was attentive and asked if all was fine throughout the time we were eating. Once the check came I’m not sure what happened to her but I went to the register to pay the bill, finally saw her standing by another table. Seemed that there was only two servers and to be honest this restaurant isn’t that big to begin with, not a stand alone restaurant, built into a strip mall. Had the chicken pot pie and it was lava hot, Shelly wasn’t kidding when she said it was hot and to poke a hole to let the steam out. It was delicious as always. Ordered the peach pie slice and it wasn’t the slice of peach pie I saw inside the glass counter when I walked in. Should have said Fresh Peach Pie… Pie slice was warm, nice touch. Would I come back why not, but with so many restaurants in the area, you can have this place months later. Staff was attentive at the cashier as well. Plenty of parking but I’m sure during the day it might not be the case, we came in when most other businesses were closed for the day.

I’ve been to this Marie Calendars twice now and I really love the place! The food was amazing the first time and this time it was even better I had the same waiter I did the last time I came here and she was super sweet and friendly. I’m not sure why the reviews are so low but I really do enjoy this place for a breakfast and lunch! The albacore tuna melt is mouth watering!

Horrible service. Our waiter never came by to give refills. He brought the bill but never came back to get it. Decided to take it to the register myself where I had to wait another 10 minutes for someone to come by and help me. I even saw one of the waitresses roll her eyes and make a face at a customer because she asked for a refill. Brunch was OK. I feel it to be a bit pricey for the selection they had. Now I remember why I never come to this place.

Well, as you can tell by all the Unilocalers shining reviews that this place is lacking a bit. I think they do pies the best. They should just stick with that. Otherwise it’s pretty much like a better Coco’s or Denny’s in my opinion. I ordered the grilled veggie tacos. They were good but nothing big, but they were just okay. There was definitely plenty of grilled vegetables, but the tortillas were not large enough to pick them up and eat them. As you can see from my picture, it’s a little lackluster because that’s all you get. I give the place a «C-» overall.

Lunched there recently. Had one of the lunch specials, quiche and a wedge salad. Quiche was very dry and top was very overbaked, not much flavor. Had to ask for drink refills every time. Disappointed as this used to be a great place.

Ugh! I came here with my boyfriend for breakfast Sunday morning. We actually really wanted to go someplace else but it was slammed. They only offered a buffet. They said they didn’t serve breakfast on Sundays. We got the«brunch» buffet and I wish we hadn’t. It was gross. No other word for it. Downright nasty. The waffles were raw on the inside. The potatoes were god awful, sausage was undercooked, eggs Benedict was dry and the consistency of a hard boiled egg. The fruit was the only edible item. Even the omlette bar was filled with disgusting looking topping options. I would never come back here. Ever. The service was horrible. The guy never refilled our drinks or checked on us, so we went thirsty. The dining area also looks like it used to be an awkward conference room. Really, really, REALLY bad.

This place was a bit of a let down for me. Thankfully our server Max was crazy good, but the food — well — it’s the same or tasted the same as if I bought some out of the freezer at my local grocery store — heated it up — and served it. Though the place was certainly big enough — it felt cold — empty and it wasn’t very appealing once I got inside! There was plenty to pick from and the prices weren’t the worst I’ve seen, but I just wasn’t impressed at all. It’s not a bad place — just an OK place!

This is a review for to-go. I needed to get a pie for a gathering and I called in the morning to see if they had any. The person said they certainly did, but only one left. Lucky for me I live less than a mile away. I hopped in my car and drove on down right away. When I came in, a gentleman was walking out from the kitchen. He smiled & greeted me and when I said I had just called & possibly spoken to him he said«pumpkin pie?» I said yes and he walked over to the fridge where he had it waiting, pre-boxed for me. That’s what I’m talkin’ about!
