Lace ‘Em Up Skate School with Jill Mintz

I signed up my son for the toddlers classes. They were advertised as using stability bars and having fun things on the ice to make it fun for them. Their site also stated that the kids would really enjoy the lesson. We went to two classes and neither one had any additional tools or fun things on ice. The second class involved having 6 kids with one instructor and my son spent a great deal of time without help. When I contacted the owner, I was informed that yes, they didn’t do what was advertised and they were sorry, but there are no refunds. Bad business ethics are evident. I’ve recent’y contacted them again and asked for a partial refund at least and was refused EVEN though they admitted they didn’t do what they advertised and promised. They have since changed their website.

My daughter has been taking lessons for the last few weeks. Jill has helped her make the transition from roller skating to ice skating almost seamless! She looks forward to her weekly lesson and I look forward to her moving forward.
