La Petite Academy

I have two sons, 4 & 5 that attended the La Petite Academy in Lakewood. One has moved on to Kindergarten now and still talks about his wonderful teachers at La Petite. My 4 year old is still attending Pre-​K there and loves coming home everyday and telling us what activities he experienced that day. The teachers are very kind and approachable and I feel that this is a safe environment for my little ones. I’m very happy we took the tour of this location and decided on giving them a chance. Recommended!

La Petite Academy has been the best daycare I’ve enrolled my daughter in to date. We have moved around with my job quite a bit, so we have had the opportunity to experience other settings, and La Petite Academy is hands down the best. In addition to an excellent, accredited curriculum, most of the staff have been with the center for an average of 10 plus years, a true testament to Sandy Arnold, the director of 35 years. Two of the lead teachers are also director qualified and have more than 25 years of childcare experience. All of the staff are child oriented and approachable. If I have had questions, they have treated me with sincerity and respect. I can bring my daughter in the morning and be assured she is being well cared for and participating in developmentally appropriate and engaging activities. She loves her center and her teachers. It’s a true home away from home environment. My little one is thrilled to be in Preschool with Ms. Vanessa, a real gift of teacher who is musically inclined and teaches the children Spanish in a bilingual circle time. La Petite is reasonably priced for the top notch quality of the program. My daughter has been with the center since December 2013, and she will stay until I enroll her in kindergarten.
