I hired JEC Integration for a residential project installing a multi-​zone speaker system in my house. Two days before the installation, the business owner sent me an e-​mail stating that he couldn’t do the job due to staffing reasons and wishing me good luck. I was really surprised, because they had spent a lot of time working with me designing the project and they had great references. My only guess is that they came across some commercial work that was far more lucrative than my residential project.
I would not recommend JEC for any project, commercial or residential, unless you have a high tolerance for flaky vendors.
