I’ve been to all of the teriyaki spots in Puyallup and a couple in Lakewood, this place takes the cake. Best cooked chicken and beef, best rice, best value. Can’t wait to try other dishes.

Oh sweet baby Jesus! Since Koto Teriyaki took a sharp downturn, I’ve been looking for a new spot. This is fantastic, currently eating it and loving it! Chicken is crispy but juicy and not burnt. Teriyaki sauce is thick and perfect, not that watered down garbage some people(Koto) try to sell you. I’m a simple man and I like a nice chicken teriyaki done right, this is perfect, highly recommend.

The fried tofu here is amazing. Other things on the menu are good too. I’d give them five stars if they had brown rice.

Not like it used to be. Very very slow. Called in a timed order an hour before we wanted to pick it up. Still had to wait 20 minutes for takeout. The place has been going downhill for a while. Too bad, we really liked it. Time to find a new place.

Their chicken fried rice is amazing. But their other dishes is just okay. What I have a problem with is that I tried to order veggie deluxe with tofu and they charged me $ 12.50 for it!!! For tofu! When a regular veggie deluxe is only $ 8, a seafood veggie deluxe is only $ 9.25, in what world does tofu costs more than seafood? And my friend had ordered shrimps with steamed veggies and they charged her $ 8.50. But they won’t do the same for tofu! Make me mad but unfortunately I can’t stay away from their fried rice.

Hot Teriyaki is a pretty good place. Prices are decent(especially their lunch specials) and food always tastes great. Staff are very nice and though the wait can be a little long their quality of service makes it worth the wait!

This place used to be our go to for lunch breaks at my office. In the last few months the quality of food has gone down drastically. Recently we ordered two oriental chicken salads to go. The chicken was so dry it was nearly jerky style. When we returned and brought the salads to show them how dry they were, the woman at the front counter got very angry that we would want our salads remade. She was very huffy puffy and didn’t apologize once for the inconvenience of us driving back to exchange our jerky chicken. The remake was only slightly better than the first try. I will definitely not be back.

We have been going to Hot Teriyaki for four years. It used to be much tastier. In the last few months, orders have become much less appetizing. The food is over cooked. Meats are like nondescript rubber. Vegetables are tasteless. In our area we have so few restaurant choices, it is a shame. To add insult to injury, they raised their prices about a dollar or more per dish. Not seeing where this is warranted.

This place probably has the best quick-service teriyaki in the area. Although on weekend nights we’ve waited an hour for our food the past couple of times so we don’t bother anymore at these times. I have noticed some changes in the ingredients on a couple of the dishes that have not been good, but overall they are my favorite place to get quick take out in the neighborhood. The Generals Tso’s and yakisoba are really yummy.

Eat here regularly. Food and service are great. Actually pass a couple teriyaki places on my way to eat there. The lady behind the counter is always nice

Cutest little woman always working the counter. She is so friendly. They have awesome sweet and sour chicken and the best genreal tso’s chicken I can find(so far) in Washington since moving out here. Wait time for food isn’t too bad either. Always nice and cool inside too.

Food dry, and overcooked, wife called to complain. All lady could say is it’s the best teriyaki over and over, left my wife on the phone while complaining in background in her native tongue. I called back later and lady would not still listen about how food was overcook, chicken was stringy and hard, hard to chew and near impossible to swallow. Lady kept telling me best teriyaki, it the best teriyaki. Hung on up lady as she would not listen. Received call back and told me bring food back to I would get refund. Of course as me and my wife tried to eat only little over half left and I combined the 2 orders in one container. When I went back to the store the lady just kept repeating, no one ever complain and it is the best. She would not give me full refund. As tell me I eat it all. Me and my wife ate 3 portions of the wife, and noodles. Poor customer support. And way far from best teriyaki. Save yourself go somewhere else.

Pretty decent place. Service was a little slow but at least the staff was friendly and the food was good. Can’t say it was the best bulgogi I ever had but it was tasty and filling.

Sister and her family rave about this place. Wasn’t impressed. Skimpy portions but the food was ok. Nice grill marks on the Teriyaki Chicken, but that was about it. Pretty bland Mongolian Beef and that is a mortal sin.
