Not very good. They dont put enough icing on their donuts and sometimes dont taste fresh. Plus theres always a bunch of old men sitting outside who stare at you creepily when u walk in

I’ve bought several times donuts here to bring to work but I feel the donuts tends to have an after taste like old oil. This place is my last resort when I’m running late to work and I need to pick up a few dozen.

I live super close by so I come her A LOT! The people that run the shop are really friendly. I come frequently and I’ve never been disappointed. This is usually the place I go if I’m in charge of snacks for my class or something. It’s extremely cheap and delicious. I know this will be one of those places I go back to when I’m older and it’ll remind me of my childhood. :)

We buy donuts here several times a week I use it as a way to bond with my kids by walking or biking up to the store and in a pinch I will buy three dozen as my pot luck contribution for early morning parties and also business meetings. Love this place!

I have been going to Granny’s Donuts almost every day for a few years now. They know exactly what I want and often give me an extra little treat along with it. Even the older gentlemen that are usually hanging out outside know my name and greet me with affections. The donuts are always good but they are best late at night around 11 – 12 when they get out of the oven fresh. If you go at the perfect time, you’ll receive a donut that was taken out of the oven so recently that it will be falling apart and dripping glaze. I will continue to go to Granny’s at least a couple of times a week and hope to one day become one of the old geezers that hangs out here :)

I used to come here a lot last year and this review is primarily for then. Granny’s Donuts would be my go-to stop before class. I would get about 6 – 12 doughnut holes and most of the time they were old and hard, barely edible. A few times I went back in to get fresh ones(on my hurry to school) and the lady gave me a hard time but eventually switched it out. I started to make sure they were fresh before I left when this place was my last resort for breakfast… Plus it’s morning the donuts are suppose to be fresh??? Prices are definitely reasonable. After not going for months a young guy was working and he was polite and helpful.

The donuts are tasty and if you come in after 12am there’s fresh ones you can buy. The employees there are always friendly and have excellent customer service. If your ever in the lakewood area and feel like donuts I highly suggest going to this donut shop you won’t be sorry :)

This place is great. The donuts always taste fresh and all prices are pretty cheap. Half a dozen is only about $ 4 and comes in a nice little box good to start or end my day. Nice HD tv there and a nice environment, parking is easy too!

This is a great Mom & Pop’s type of donut shop. Family owned and ran … They are always friendly and smiling. The parents remind me of mine. :)) Even though I went there at 11pm… They still had a good selection of donuts. MMMMMMMM …

I go here at least twice a week. They are always friendly and know what I order, so I don’t even have to ask. The donuts are super-yummy. I especially enjoy the apple fritters and old fashioned donuts. Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. BEWARNED, they ONLY accept CASH. No credit cards, however they have an ATM inside the shop for those who need it. Overall I think the donuts and service are great, so I highly recommend it.

My initial impression I got before I even came through the front door is that this place is a hangout for a few senior citizens, and the shop owner apparently allows them to sit there all day to just socialize and shoot the breeze. That makes me wonder if I’ll do the same thing when I get to be their age and be part of the«Donut Shop Gang.» :-D The best time to come here is first thing in the morning when the doughnuts are freshly made. In addition to the usual favorites, they also carry these large apple fritters that can be a meal in themselves. Additionally, they have glazed buttermilk bars that are really tasty, especially if you can get them in the morning. Although, being that I love chocolate, I give a nod to the chocolate-glazed ones. There are also the usual beverages to go with your doughnuts, such as coffee, tea, milk, bottled water and various kinds of sodas. Their prices for a dozen doughnuts(depending on the type you select) are definitely cheaper than for the larger chains like Krispy Kreme. The inside of the shop has some tables and chairs as well as an ATM. The lady behind the counter(she must be the owner) was friendly. If you go, be sure to say hello to the Donut Shop Gang. :-)
