I purchased a used GTI last year off Craigslist that had it’s suspension lowered by the previous owner. Long story short I did not like the lowered suspension so I needed to find somewhere to take the car to be raised to factory height. I first took it to Saul’s automotive to get a quote and their quote was for over $ 900 for new springs and installation. I was blown away by this price. I then called Elder Auto and they quoted me $ 1200!!! All this car needed was new shocks! No struts! So I continued my search and I called Elroy’s explained to Bob what needed to be done. Bob was so patient and helpful. He recommended that I look for used shocks because they would be cheaper. So I went to my old faithful Craigslist and found OEM factory shocks for $ 70! In the end I paid ¹⁄₃ the cost for new shocks, install and alignment than both other shops quoted. Thank you Elder Auto and Bob for helping me out! I will definitely be back for all alignments and other things you guys can do at your shop!

These guys did an alignment on my car for less than half of what the dealership would have charged me. Just make sure you get in there first thing when they open or call to make an afternoon appointment. They will be full for the day by 8:30! I wouldn’t hesitate to come back or send my friends here.

One rarely finds a business with such overwhelmingly uniform positive comments. I needed some brake work done and thought I’d give Elroy’s a try. I figure that I needed new rotors and guessed that I’d be out between $ 150 and $ 300 for a complete job. In four hours I had my 2001 «cherry» 4Runner back with nicely turned rotors and I was only out $ 65. Top notch work, quick service, and very reasonable prices. Guess all those positive reviews weren’t from Bob with 20 or 25 aliases.

Disappointing customer service today. I was hoping to get a basic alignment for my 1989 Volvo but they complained that they could only do all four tires at once (batently false) and as Jeff mentioned in an earlier post really just treat you like an inferior. Best take your business elsewhere.

I got a front end alignment and was expecting a bill well over $ 100, plus the added cost of parts replacement (since the car has 106,000 miles on it). Bob takes first come, first served business in the morning and makes afternoon appointments, so I made a 1 p.m. appointment. When I got there at 12:55 he apologized that he was running a little late and suggested a restaurant two blocks down Colfax. I came back as I saw them driving the car out of the shop at about 1:50 and thought they were probably waiting for parts. But Bob called me just as I walked in to tell me the car was ready. He said it aligned easily and needed no new parts and the total bill would be $ 65 — except that because he was late getting to it he was only going to charge me $ 44.50! And it still was not yet 2 o’clock! Nice guy, great service, and I’ll recommend him to anyone I get a chance to!

After getting the run around for 3 days on when I can and cannot bring my vehicle in for an alignment and shocks. I was finally able to talk to «Bob» who then proceeded to chastise me for coming in late at 9:30 am, as though I was one of his employees. His attitude was poor and the manner in which spoke to me was condescending. His explanation of how I needed to be at his shop 5 minutes before opening was the only way to get service was the worst example of customer service I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and skip the attitude and being talked to like a kid and go somewhere else.

Best prices, quality work, nice guys, a little hole in the wall but I don’t think my car minds what the inside looks like. I live way out in Aurora and the drive is way worth it. I will always use and recommend Elroy’s.

This is a great shop! I actually drive down from evergreen, figure what I spend in gas is more than saved by their honesty and great prices. Now they’re not flight attendants, but they’re still friendly as mechanics go. And honest. Get here early (especially for alignment) as they fill up fast (ppl know the secret!). They also have a sitting room with a tv. Its kinda grungy but don’t worry. you won’t get your suit dirty. And who needs some fancy fake plant in the corner anyhow?! I’ve come several times, cosmetics aside, they are honest and will get your car done in a timely manner at a great price. 5 stars.

I am self employed in a sales business, and use my car as a buisness tool. It gets lots of use and abuse on the Denver streets. Elroys has fixed the alignments for my on ALL my cars, including the all-​wheel drive ones, and it is always prompt, economical, and professional. I get straight, honest answers and great prices.

I’ve been going here for years for alignments. Not a fancy place, but he’s a good guy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had been using another local alignment shop for years even though I was never real happy with the service. This time I decided to google for someone else and found the Unilocal page for Elroy’s. After reading the fantastic reviews, I decided to give Elroy’s a shot. I am sooo glad I did. Service was excellent. They had me in and out in less than an hour even though there were 3 cars ahead of me. Ridiculous reasonable price as well. My car didn’t need a rear alignment, so it was only $ 44 for the front! Needless to say, I will be bringing my cars to Elroy’s from now on. Great job guys!

This is how a service should be! I’ve always been skeptical of taking my car in for break service, because I’ve been screwed so many times. A friend of mine suggested Elroy’s, and I’m super happy I followed his advise. I’m not surprised to see all the 5 stars reviews for this place! If you want great service and fair pricing, go to Elroy’s!

Where to begin? Let’s go short and sweet — simply the best (and repeated) experiences I’ve had with a garage. It’s a bit out of the way for me but I now take all of my vehicles here. They’re fast, thorough, insanely reasonable on parts/​labor and just good guys. Go in and ask for Bob. Yes. Bob. Your life just got way less stressful. You’re welcome.
And did I mention an alignment is only $ 55 compared to the corporate rack rate of $ 110? You’re welcome. Otra vez.

I needed an alignment on a Mercury Mariner Hybrid and was recommended by Mark Greene Automotive Repair to go to Elroy for the alignment as he does good work. had an appointment a few days later and Elroy took about 45 min to do the alignment. They gave me a print out and explained the difference between the before the alignment and after the alignment and how much they had to correct and what the out of alignment would do to the tires. This was very helpful information and wish every shop would do this. Will use Elroy again.

Ahhh so nice to give 5 stars to an upstanding company.
They are honest, and friendly and fairly priced.
Their waiting room is not the best, but I am not rating them on waiting comfort. :)

I have been going there for yesrs. They are honest and looking out for the customers best interest. They will never plus sell work that is not needed. They will do nessary work that other shops avoid (camber adjustments). Highly recomended.

I called around to get my power steering pump replaced. Must have called a dozen local shops, and everybody gave me an estimate of between $ 300 and $ 400 dollars (parts + labor). Elroy’s charged me $ 190, and the thing has worked perfectly. The guy was honest, fast, and I know I’ll be coming back to Elroy’s.

Took my car to Bob at Elroy’s for an alignment. Great guy and was extremely flexible to work worth. I was under a time crunch and he got it aligned no problem and had my car back when he promised. Also didn’t try to sell me on unnecessary repairs.

The shop is very busy, and for good cause. Not located in the best neighborhood, they do good work, and for much less than other places. Very trustworthy, and don’t pad anything. I was quoted $ 2000 by Big O for a front end repair, and looked elsewhere. A friend recomended Elroys, and SO I went in for a quote. Their quote was for $ 400, and that was with premium parts. Their Rep proceeds them, I went in and had to wait 20 minutes for a mecganic to look at my vehicle. That might be a bit long, but they were swamped, and with price differences like the ones I mentioned, they are swamped for good reasn.
