Edge Up – Lakewood

I’m done with this place .was going for a long time now I go home and see my line up is more uneven than I’ve ever seen!26 $for taper and line up that took him 10 minutes. the lady Barber is really good though!

I’m going to give it 3 stars but only because there is one lady there that we were very happy with when she did my sons hair cut with a design. It came out great! I’ve been there a few times where she wasn’t available and the haircuts were horrible! I went there a week ago to get my own hair cut, showed a picture to the guy and he said he could do it. Well… basically me paying $ 30 didn’t pay off and I hated it. I feel like I need another haircut already. We will definitely go back to the lady but will NEVER pick any other person unless we see pictures of other customers that the other employees have given haircuts to to ensure that they do great haircuts.

My son’s hair cut was ok, kinda plain. I went in only to save a few bucks $ 10 Tuesday. Really upset when the same barber who promoted the $ 10 deal the day before tried to change $ 15. Thankfully the honest lady who seems to run the place said no its $ 10 on tues. she’s the only reason for the 3 stars otherwise I’d rate them a 1. Also these guys act as if they never seen a pretty lady or big booty come on guys, get use to it already. U work at the mall. stop drooling!

My son needed a cut and since we were in the mall decided to try them out… shoulda read Unilocal first so he sat in chair with the musketeer named dude at 5:20 wasn’t finished until 6:45 for a basic Mohawk on a 6yr old. Plus the cut wasn’t even killer fresh just aight. did next To him cut like 3 people and they was all tight! Ridiculous the guy was singing answering his phone, hollering at the ladies that passed all while I’m boiling to get the hell outta there. Then the pricing said $ 15 for most cuts for kids and I ended up paying $ 26. Guess we going back to our regular barber… don’t leave your regular barber unless it’s this dude.

Love the new barber Aaron, he does awesome hair cuts and does these AMAZING designs. The manager is the sweetest lady ever, and the other barbers are polite.
Would highly recommend this place, for those who would like a nice hair cut or design. Love this place, it is very convenient spot for a barbershop. You can leave your kids in this spot to get a haircut while you go off and do a little shopping in the mine time.

went there last week and the atmosphere was not professional at all. They played inappropriate music in front od children and also spoke to each using vulgar language/
Some of the barbers left customers sitting in the chair while the spoke to friends passing by, some on the phone while cutting hair. At the end overcharge for every little thing-​NEVER GOING BACK!

We’ve been going to this barber shop to get my son’s hair cut for about a year. As long as it’s not too busy, it’s a good experience. The young lady is very good and very popular — you may have to wait for her! But you can do your shopping while you wait — put your name on the list and they’ll call you when it’s your turn. I recommend it!

Gave this place another chance cuz my boys really needed a haircut, and unfortumately this was the only place I could find that was open and accepting walk-​ins. The guy with the tall, unkept fro cut both my boys’ hair and he sucked! He was also very unprofessional with his attitude! We got to the mall about 2 hours before they close, and I made sure to ask how long the wait would be cuz they had me write my name in a notebook with names all over it and in no particular order. He just told us, with a rude attitude, that he’ll get to us.
He took hella long giving my boys a very basic haircut, comb overs. When I pointed spots that needed to be fixed, cuz they were very obvious, he was hella irritated and it showed! And I’m sure he was hella rushing cuz they were already closing.
After this last experience, which was basically just like the 1^st, I am definitely never going to punish my boys again by coming back to this whack spot! They obviously don’t know how to cut a wide variety of styles of hair! I swear, never again!

Barbers lack of experience cutting different style and type of hair. I know when my barber is good my ears and scalp still burning from earlier. Paid 25 $ for a messed up haircut. Good thing hair grows back. Not recommend if you need shear cut.

This barbershop is phony! When I come up for a cut at this edge it up at 1pm yesterday I had to be on a wait list, and there’s two guys getting there cuts and 3 other barbers are just fooling around or just being lazy. Most of the time when there cutting someone’s hair they’ll be on there phone and they fuckin off with there coworkers. I was just waiting for five minutes and I’ve notice they were gonna take there sweet ass time cutting the two dudes hairs so I go to my local barbershop «Extreme Fades» in Long Beach at 1:30. I was in and out in 25 minutes with a clean cut. I got a phone call at 2:20pm from this lagging as place that I’m ready for a cut. I respond to the dude «You guys took to long thanks for nothing.» If your looking for a barbershop this is not the place.

Located inside Lakewood Mall. Edge Up has an atmosphere you’ll enjoy. I came here two days ago and damn ! The barber got down on the Gentleman’s Cut I asked for. You should definitely come check it out. The employees are friendly and there was some nice conversation. All in all a great spot.

I tried this barber shop this past Tuesday as I was approached by a worker promoting the $ 10 Tuesday special. I love a deal and the location is great! While my ten year old is being serviced… I can shop :) Mello was my barber of choice. He was focused on his client and wasn’t nearly as distracted as the other barbers. Initially I was very pleased… my son looked amazing. The shit hit the fan by Thursday. The entire perimeter of his head is covered in little itchy white bumps. This happens when the barber fail to clean his clippers between clients (I didn’t pay attention to see if he did). While I love a deal… the saying you get what you pay for May be true. Back to the $ 15 barber with a horrible location I go.

I stopped at this shop while walking the mall. Service was decent but haircut was terrible. I asked for my one year old to get a comb over cut with scissors only. The guy with dyed blonde hair responded, «Oh wow? With scissors?» Let me just say there was no skill in his scissor cutting. My son now has patches on different sides of his head. I learned my lesson and will just go to little kid barbers.

That lady that cuts hair there cut me up. I have so many burn marks. I will never go back

I went to get my six year old son his first hair cut an waited for twenty minutes and was told I was next. Then one employee went on break and the other let another man that walked up cut in front of me, even though my name was on the list and his wasn’t. Boopty! We left and will never come back!!!

I just want to say that this is the most convenient barber shop ever. I can go shop while my boys get there hair cut. Also I have to say my boys love getting there hair cut by Tashee.
