Bad place… went in right before leaving for vacation, asked for a shellac manicure with an accent nail of one of the glitter swatches they had. First off no trim of the cuticle and hasty file job. They quickly applied the coats of polish and ONE coat of glitter. I asked for an extra coat of glitter as it looked unfinished, I got an eye roll. Then after the first coat I pull my nails out of the uv light and the color is bubbled and lumpy! He then says something to the other guy working on another girls nails right next to me and the other gives him that UV lamp ummm ok? You only have one UV light that works? Then they switch and the older man starts doing my polish it’s still lumpy and gross I ask him to fix it and he has the audacity to tell me he will fix it next time I come in! wtf ?? Basically at this point I’m just ready to leave this guy is lazy and too busy on his phone chatting to care about lumpy polish shitty place, employees have bad attitudes never again.

I wanted to love this place because it’s sooooo close to my boyfriends house. This review is for a fill… which I didn’t even end up getting. When I first went in the guy working told me to look at this Girls nails. That should have been my sign to leave. They looked as if he had done gel but used oil before so they were like bubbling… the girl looked pissed too but he looked content. I arrived and got my old acrylics taken off. I said I wanted the same shape as before(I have stiletto nails) so the guy working takes off my nails and starts putting on new ones. Once the new acrylics are glued on I realize they curl downwards extremely… not even close to the shape I had before. He tried saying it’s so water won’t get in between my nails… except in a week I obviously won’t be able to do anything with my hands. I ended up just having him take them off & going elsewhere. He was extremely rude, yelling at me and trying to convince me to have my nails how he wanted them — not me. Also was trying to tell me I needed shellac design with a gel coat on top… obviously trying to hustle someone because why would I need both if my nails will have grown out in two weeks anyways. Pros: location… designs are OK but really old fashioned… lots of parking Cons: rude staff, don’t listen to what you want, not really nice inside. My experience was only with one person though. He was polite when I left… but not when talking to me about what I wanted. I won’t be back.

The younger gal was too aggressive and she didn’t even apologize. She seemed more occupied with her phone. 01.03.15 the owner didn’t apologize but messaged me on here and insulted me for my comment. Good job sir.

Good nail shops are hard to find. I tried this place many years ago and was not happy with the service. I tried this place again since I live right up the street and found it has been remodeled and is under new management. The people that work here are so nice & very accommodating. This nail shop is also very clean and very sanitary which is a must when it comes to nail shops. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

I was pleased to find this shop down the street from where I work. Luckily I get long lunches and can actually go out to get food or take care of errands if needed. This time I pressed my luck and decided to get my nails done. I already knew I was looking to get my nails cleaned up and hoped they did the shellac thing. My job is rough on hands and nails so I need something that’s going to last. After walking in I requested a manicure and they asked if I wanted shellac. Of course I wanted it! The woman who was going to do the work showed me the colors and simple ideas for designs. I picked my colors and she set to work. The whole process was painless and took about 45min. I got some rad looking nails done with a design on each of my ring fingers for $ 30. Will I go back? Probably after I get tired of growing out the color and filing my nails on my own.

I am very particular as to where i’ll get my pedicures at. I have my nail salon i go to religiously that’s near my house, but when i wanted to treat my sister to a pedi for her birthday i took to the internet to help me find a good place in lakewood. The reviews for here, while not the best ever, were better than any other nail shop in the area so we gave it a go. When you walk in, it looks pretty run down and its not in the nicest location, but the girls there were very sweet and did a great job on both of our feet. They do the basic soak, cuticle nipping, scrub, lotion and quicky massage, but nothing spectacular. The polish has lasted me 3 weeks and hasnt chipped and they were reasonably priced. the experience was overall pretty good, and there was nothing to complain about other than the ambiance, or lack there of. Not sure i’ll go back there since i do get spoiled at my nail shop in puyallup, but it was worth a good review.

I used to go here for pedicures. But I can’t any longer. I caught«something» from one of the foot baths and I don’t think that they sanitize their implements or bowls enough. It needs to be sprayed with barbicide/disinfectent, left to sit for ten minutes. Not just scrubbed out with a sponge and rinsed in water. They do a good job though, I just am sad that I caught something.

This is the best place to go for natural looking acrylic nails and fills. See Tommy, he does the best job.

I used to work right up the street from this place and in between school and work I’d occasionally have time to kill. Enter Danny Nails. It’s located right next to the Olympus Spa so you can get your nails done after a day of relaxation. The staff here are hilarious but I know they are not trying to be. I just giggle at the way they pressure you to get a design on your toes with a «diamond»(i.e rhinestone) or tell you how beautiful your feet are. The salon itself is a typical nail place with pedicure chairs and HUGE assortment of colors. Pedicures are cheap, too, coming in at a whopping $ 18. I would recommend getting a nail design as they truly are unique.
