Great Burnt Ends when they have them. The mashed potatoes and gravy is a great side as well. Good customer service and very friendly. Always clean and there are TV’s for sports games. The option to eat until 10pm is a unusual occurrence in Lakewood.

The ribs were tasty, service was average, Mac n cheese had absolutely no flavor at all, fries were good, the bun was dried out. It’s very overpriced. After my meal and drink it was 19.00. Pretty pricey for a chain BBQ. I’ve had much better.

Food is good here but I would give it 2 stars simply because I went on Tuesday for dinner and it seemed as though the girl up front was too busy on her phone to actually give me the time of day. I felt like I was interrupting something and I didn’t seem to be of much importance to her. I wish the customer service was a little better.

Being from the east coast I’d never heard of Brothers BBQ before. When I drove past it I’d always ask my friends(I’m a HUGE bbq lover) in hopes of finding a decent spot, only to get mixed reviews. So I decided to embark on a smokey sweet journey and check it out. The first thing I noticed was the large yet kinda pricey menu items. Most sandwiches were around $ 8 and that doesn’t come with a side or drink. You can get ¼ pound bbq meat starting at $ 5 and going up, however if you’re hungry that would be an appetizer. I decided to go with the Brothers sandwich with fries and a drink. Totaled to just under $ 12 and if I’m being honest, a slight disappointment. The fries were good. They came out hot and were thick(I prefer thin fries but I’m trying not to be a diva) but we’re simply fries none the less. The sandwich was a sort of a train wreck. They attempt to mask the really dry meat by layering on onions, coleslaw, and sausage links. It just felt like the sandwich was a cover up for poorly cooked meat. Overall there’s a slim chance I’ll be going back. By far not the worst thing in the world but I can’t say that it’s good bbq.

The ratings kept me away. I should not make that mistake again, unless the ratings speak of vomiting and hospital stays. This was a pre Red Rocks random stop. Glad we did. I will try the one in town to see if the quality is consistent within the chain. DT

It’s mediocre at best. The sides are absolutely and completely write-offs though. It’s not difficult to make good mac and cheese and good BBQ/baked beans. Other than the fries the sides are not just mediocre but downright high school cafeteria awful. The meat is alright. It’s not anything particularly great. Honestly, you’ll have much better BBQ if you go down to the Whole Foods at Belmar. I forget how awful this place is and then end up going there again when I’m in the mood for BBQ.

Love the sandwiches, a little overpriced but for a once every other month, not a bad choice. Just went there the other day and satisfied my barbecue jones.

Few times in a guys life does he come across the BBQ pit with the golden halo around it so to speak, I found that pit today I normally don’t like BBQ but I love that they give you the meat sauce free I love that. The staff aren’t overly nice but are quite decent. They make a mean meat pack and the hot link is da bomb, I also love the décor it is so appealing. They are a great pit and I highly recommend them.

Bland Bland and Bland! Seriously?! Way over priced and someone is scared of using salt. They bring 6 bbq sauces that you will need to bring moisture back to you chicken. Mac and cheese was watery and cole slaw was room temperature and of course NOFLAVOR! What’s really sad is that is 12 pm(prime lunch time and there are 4 people here. Put this flavorless dog to rest and give this space to a restaurant to who cares about their food. So bad I couldn’t finish. Oh! And why is there a cashier who wants me to tip her for just ringing up my food?(Take it off of your receipts, it’s tacky) You don’t tip people a Taco Bell or Walgreens for just ringing you up. T.I.P.S: To Insure Proper Service… What service?!

BBQ is my thing and I’m ALL about the sauce. They have 6 different options to choose from. I’ve dined in their restaurant as well as ordered out, and for a chain, the food is good and the restaurant is neat. Cool décor and I like their beer selections.

Very good pulled pork sandwich. Decent sauces. The sides are flavorless and bland. Just always seems to be a lapse in customer service… this time did not offer or include any sauce in or on our to go sandwhiches which we didn’t discover until we got home.

The ribs are wonderful and the selection of sauces are nice and very tasty. The rib rub is my favorite on the ribs. The brisket can sometimes be dry but for the most part, this place is wonderful.

If I can go into a restaurant and ask what their gluten-free options are and the staff: 1. know what I am talking about and 2. can list off the top of their head what food I can eat — I am a happy lady. So, when I wandered into Brother’s BBQ and was told that ALL of their sauces are now gluten-free, and all of their meats are, I was instantly cheered up. I almost always get pulled pork when I am at a BBQ place, and Brother’s has some pretty good pork. I’ve never been to the South or had«real» southern BBQ, so I can’t testify to their authenticity, but I enjoyed mine. The pork was incredibly tender, and they offer a variety of sauces you can combine to make the flavor you want. The fries were nice and crispy — not a soggy one in sight. My only complaint was that their coleslaw was a bit on the bland side, but all and all, a minor complaint. Also, a shoutout to the employee working front of house. Not only was he incredibly friendly and helpful, I witnessed him cleaning all the tables and even dusting when he didn’t have customers. As someone who works in the service industry, I have to get pretty desperate before I’ll dust… so kudos to him for appearing to choose to do it. I’ll definitely be back!

Boo! I used to eat at brothers barbecue all the time. The food and service continue to get worse with every visit. I came in hoping get a quick barbecue fix with a couple of pork ribs and a salad and left with no salad and dried out ribs. Time to step back up your game brothers.

My husband and I were excited to try Brothers BBQ after we went to the Fed Ex store next door and could smell all of the delicious aromas coming from the restaurant. We decided to stop in for dinner one night and were surprised how empty the joint was, however, it smelled tantalizing so we decided to give it a shot. For $ 30 we got smoked pulled pork, brisket, chicken, a couple hot links, mashed potatoes and a soda. The portions were small, barely enough for a sandwich from each meat, Disappointingly, the meat was all dry and pretty bland. It lacked any smoke flavor or really any flavor at all. The chicken was fatty, the sauces were average at best, and even their bread was bland and dry. The potatoes were alright. The only redeeming quality were the hot links, which were spicy and tasty. Overall, overpriced and lacking authentic barbecue flavor.

Barbeque restaurants are never going to be my thing, but I do enjoy Brother’s BBQ. They have good sandwiches and sides for a fair price. For a first time guest, I would recommend their slider sampler, which comes with four different sliders: pulled pork, brisket, chicken, and hot links. If you are feeling a little adventurous, try the tofu sandwich. I know that sounds completely wrong when at a BBQ restaurant, but it was quite good. They offer a variety of sauces at the table so everyone can have a flavor of their preference. The service is efficient and the staff friendly. You can’t go there expecting world class BBQ, but you can have a nice experience with friends and family without breaking the bank.

Unfortunately, really good BBQ is tough to find in Denver. Would that we had really good Texas-style BBQ, or BBQ resembling Arthur Bryants or Oklahoma Joe’s or Jack Stack in Kansas City, but if we do I haven’t found it. We have quite a bit of «OK» BBQ, at least among the chains, and I would place Brothers in that cohort along with Bennett’s, Moe’s, and Dickie’s.(For«chain» BBQ, I would place Famous Dave’s at the top of the otherwise decent but largely undistinguished heap.) But back to Brothers — it’s certainly not in the elite of BBQ but it’s still pretty good. They have some platters but sandwiches appear to be the order of the day. My favorite is «the Brother» — hot link and pulled pork covered with a vinegary cole slaw, onion straws and jalapenos. They’ll give you a penny back if you give them $ 8 and a quarter, but for another $ 2.00 you can add a side and a soft drink. You order at the counter at Brothers and they give you a number and bring you your order(quickly) when it’s ready. Along with your order they bring you a carrier with all of their BBQ sauces — original, sweet, vinegar-based, mustard-based and hot. They’re all pretty good, but you can also mix and match and make your own interesting concoctions. Staff are typically young(for me, that’s everyone under 60) and are knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Rather than«up-selling» they’ve often suggested a more economical way to order. Bottom line, you can almost consider Brothers as BBQ«fast food.» You can get a good and quick bite in a casual but pleasant environment in their store, or you can takeout almost as quickly as McDonalds with a slightly more costly but much better meal. Like most people, I can definitely relate to a Big Mac from time to time, but given the choice, most of the time I’d prefer some«pretty good» BBQ.

Excellent BBQ –hot links and brisket were near perfect and delicious sides. Most will not like thier mac and cheese. Its dry and not to cheesy, but I love that. The spicy beans were exceptional. The interior is spartan but comfortable and modern with lots of TV’s.
