This turned out to be the absolute worst dining experience I have ever had. I was insulted by the waiter because I chose to eat my food with a Jalapeño pepper, but that wasn’t the worst part. My girlfriend was cut off after 4 drinks at which point I decided to have one for myself. The manager brought my drink and proceeded to stand there and insisted to watch me consume my beverage. In a small act of defiance, my girlfriend grabbed my drink. The manager snatched the drink from her in a fashion that I consider to have been a minor assault. I was told by management that they were within their rights too do this. WTF??? Since when did restaurant employees gain the right to assault patrons?

I am confused… since this was holiday week between Christmas and New Years, I knew that all restaurants would be packed, and I did not want to wait in a crowd for a table after our movie let out, so I chose Bonefish Grill at Denver West because the website said they took reservations… so I MADE A RESERVATION!!! for 7:00 pm… we arrived early at 6:45…the young lady at the desk made note of my name, confirmed that I did indeed have a reservation, then said«well, it will be a bit of a wait, but because you have a reservation, it should be a little quicker.»…at 7:15, I politely asked her«how much longer will it be?»…she replied«you’re fourth on the list, as of now»…to which I replied, «we had a reservation for 7:00″ to which she replied „we have no idea how long people are going to sit at their tables, sorry“…and it was obvious that this young lady had NOIDEA what the word „reservation“ meant… my 25-yr-old son was with us and he told me „Mom, they can’t just let a table sit empty for ten or fifteen minutes“ and I told him „yes, that is EXACTLY what they’re supposed to do if you have a reservation; if you are fifteen minutes LATE for your reservation, they are free to give your table away, but if you have reserved a table, it should be available when you arrive at the appointed time.“…he looked at me as though I had three heads… so my question is this: does „Reservation“ at a restaurant no longer mean what it used to… I am 50 years old… am I so out of sink… does the word „reservation“ at a restaurant not mean what it used to…“Outback Steakhouse» does what they call«call-ahead seating» because they do not take«reservations» and any time I’ve done this, I’m seated as soon as I walk in the door… BUTWEWERENOTSEATEDATBONEFISHGRILLUNTILL7:35DESPITETHEFACTTHAT I HAD A «RESERVATION» FOR7:00!!! So please enlighten me… in restaurant speak today, what exactly does the term«reservation» mean… obviously, it does not mean the same thing as it used to… and, so, why would a restaurant say that they accept reservations, when they clearly do not… as I said, I am confused… and I will never go to Bonefish Grill again!

After Christmas shopping at Colorado Mills my boyfriend and I decided to have dinner here since there is not a Bonefish Grill near our house. I always order the sea bass but this time I ordered from their special. I had a filet mignon with 3 colossal shrimp scampi on top. It was amazing. The service was perfect as always. I just love this place because I have been here a few times and food is always the best and service is great. I will continue to come here.

Great for lunch. 20% off lunch coupon. Bang bang shrimp tacos with chowder were both very good. Ate in the bar. Great server. Very friendly. The restaurant was a little chilly

I am not a fan of fish but I actually really like this place. They have some great seafood dishes I actually really like. The coconut shrimp is great, along with thier salmon. Their lobster bisque was not good at all. Very yucky lobster and the seasoning was terrible. Thier Bloody Mary’s was terrible very sweet and it had a yucky after taste. I actually like this place and I enjoy the food. Despite a few things I haven’t enjoyed there are many things I enjoy so I will go back.

I like the ambiance. The service was good. My moms meal of scallops and shrimp was decent. My drink was pretty good. But I was pretty disappointed in the blackened fish tacos I ordered. Fish was overcooked and tacos were pretty bland.

I come to this location not only because it is convenient to my home but because they have a fantastic staff, great management and a nice«feel.» Their happy hour is well priced and the Bang Bang Shrimp is delicious, especially on half price Wednesdays. This is my «go to» place even when I come alone. I am a regular and yet some of my neighbors come even more often than me. Thanks Kevin, Shan, Abbie, Ryan and the rest of you for making me feel so welcome!!!

Terrible night — should have been a pleasant birthday celebration. The food was ok, the wine was pretty good, and the service was better than that. The 2 stars is for the management. Read on. An idiot couple apparently had seated themselves, without a reservation or permission, in the tall table section, where three tall tables had been put together for an earlier large party, and had refused to move. Solution is simple, right? Let them stay, and politely, but firmly, explain that you need to separate the tables to seat other diners. But no. We stood there for an hour after arriving with a reservation for a tall table, watching this idiot couple dawdle over their food. the hostess explained that«We can’t seat you until we clean the table, and we can’t do that until they leave. We’ve been waiting for them to order desert for a half hour!» This is a Friday night, the place is packed, and they let this idiot couple hijack two of their tables??? We eventually got seated, but we were steaming and couldn’t enjoy the evening. Had an appetizer and wine and left. The idiot couple was still there, finally dawdling over their desert. I’d bet they had those three tables locked up for 2 ½ hours! This is brainless management. The manager’s response? «I know, but we can’t force them to leave!» The simple solution apparently never occurred to him.

Stingy on wine and portion size. I made reservations on the web and clicked the birthday check box due to the two of us were celebrating our birthdays, I even mentioned this to our waitress. I guess it didn’t matter and the check box on the website is just to collect info. The wolf fish dinner was a featured item but they were out of it so I ended up ordering a tuna steak which was small. In fact, all of the portions for both dinners were small. To top it off, my glass of wine looked like someone already drank half of it. In my 45 years of dining out, I have never seen such a short pour. I looked around and sure enough, everyone got about 4 oz or so. The service was good and we only had to wait to get seated for one minute. If you go here, bypass ordering wine and if you are hungry, have a snack before you go and be ready for a super crowded parking lot.

We came here earlier this evening during happy hour for dinner to celebrate my moms birthday. The ambiance was very pleasant and the service was also very good. Our server was Julian and he was very helpful with the menu options and was overall very nice and welcoming. My mom and I both really enjoyed the signature blackberry sangria! It was very refreshing and tasty… definitely a must try if you enjoy sangria. We ordered the fish and chips as well as the spicy tuna bowl which were both very good according to my parents. I ordered the corn and crab chowder which was not my favorite though because it was very rich… also it was said to have bacon in it which I didn’t taste at all. Now, for dessert we tried the doughnuts and the key lime pie… the pie was amazing!!! So much flavor and just enough balance of tart to sweetness… I would definitely recommend that every time! Overall we had a great dinner, however, as I mentioned earlier we were there to celebrate my mother’s birthday and unfortunately they didn’t do anything for her like get her a birthday dessert or candle or anything really at all which you would think is a normal gesture at most places especially nice places like this… that’s why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. They missed the mark there and for that I wouldn’t recommend going here if your celebrating anything special but if your in need of a simple nice dinner with great food, service and drinks, it’s still a great choice!

My husband loves fish so we tried it for dinner. I’m not a huge fish lover so I had a burger and he had salmon. Both were mediocre at best. The service was good and the atmosphere is modern. We sat on the patio, which seemed like a good idea because it wasn’t too hot out, but it’s direct sun on the west side and Colfax traffic. I’m not going back.

If you’re heading over to Bonefish then I’d definitely would recommend the bar area — bartenders made one tasty mule! Go after the shrimp or tuna stacks from the bar bites(or both?!) They were fantastic — avocado, lettuce, and the crispy wonton make for a perfect barstool kind of snack… it may even fill you up. Follow that up with lobster tacos if your estòmago allows for that. The lobster tasted fresh and the encore appearance of crispy wonton is up my alley! Maybe get yourself some hot sauce or lemon wedges since the lobster isn’t heavily seasoned. Donuts for dessert… or for your entire meal — either way, do that! The service staff was great and management had no problem rolling up the sleeves which I appreciate — hard working, pleasant folks over here with pretty tasty bar bites. Kudos to the back of house on those stacks, too!

What a treat this event was! Walked in the door and was immediately greeted by Frances and a then a Moscow Mule! The interior of BFG(Bonefish Grill), I know what you were thinking, is just what I like in my hideouts. Perfect lighting level, upscale and modern seating and décor, active and bustling without the need to yell to be heard. I wasn’t able to partake of the the first bar bite due to a shrimp allergy but the next item out, the Ahi Tuna Tostada did not escape me. The Ahi was so fresh it was like chewing butter. It was so good, I was tempted to just pick the tuna off and savor each little morsel. Next up, mac and cheese bites, not something that would be on the top of my list but I think the kids would like them. They were tasty though and paired with a taster of Sierra Nevada Torpedo. What was to follow was incredible… Oysters Rockefeller, now we’re talking or eating in this case. This was some serious tastiness on the half shell. A little red wine to sip after and I’m in heaven. Now you’d think with all this, we’d be about ready to wrap this party up… no way. Now we’re served the Lamb Lollipops. This was the best lamb I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly seared and juicy pink inside. I was completely shameless and had two and finished up my wine which was a perfect compliment to the lamb. I could have ended the evening right here and been a very happy woman. Really, I’m beginning to wonder if I’m going to have enough room left for dessert? We are in the home stretch as the Asian BBQ Pork Buns arrive. Delicate, steamed buns with all the fixings served on the side. This is a DIY job as far as putting them together, but oh so worth it. BBQ is a little on the sweet side but these yummy little bites cooked just right. I can’t believe it, I made it to the final round and all I can say is Wow. Pillow shaped doughnuts tossed in cinnamon sugar served with chocolate and salted caramel sauce. Now the sauce is meant to be injected into the doughnut, making this reminiscent of a sopapilla. This dessert can stand on it’s own but BFG went one step farther and paired it with the Espresso Martini to make this finisher completely over the top! Will I be back to BFG, you bet cha! Great atmosphere, impeccable service, fantastic food and one of the best drink menus. Someplace at the mall just lost their top spot on my list of go to places to Bonefish Grill.

I think maybe I don’t have enough of a love for fish to be a fair reviewer… but maybe. I tried a sampling of their new bar bites, and didn’t feel incredibly excited by any of them, but they were well thought out, and were far from unedible. The lamb lollipop was great with sauce they serve with bread(pesto, olive oil, parmesan deliciousness!). When you go, you must must must try the doughnuts. They come with little bottle of caramel and chocolate that you inject into them and they were absolutely delightful! The service was incredible as well.

The service here was absolutely 5-star, and the bartender was fantastic. I sampled some things from the new bar bites menu, and am here to provide my person list of good and not-so-good. The moscow mules are YUMMY! If you like your mules super sweet, you will love these! They’re made with grey goose as well, so that’s always a plus! A little too syrup-y for me, but I would still order another. very refreshing! Never a fan of oysters, I was a little leary of trying these. They were served Rockefeller style, which apparently means topping them with deliciousness… maybe created for people like me who aren’t crazy about those slimly little critters. I thought these were delicious… topped with spinach artichoke dip, so what’s not to love? The mac n cheese bites were good… a little plain in flavor, but the sauce they were served with was a great pairing. I think maybe a little sharper cheese inside, and larger crumble coating would do the trick! The lobster tacos were the only true disappointment of the evening. The lobster and the toppings were very bland… the best part was the crispy wonton shell. The pork buns were delicious! The pork was very tender, and the buns were light and fluffy. These pork buns should come with an «assembly required» label, however. I don’t like to work when I’m out to eat… and my plating and assembly is never as pretty. I like to eat with my eyes, too! The lamb lollipops were a disappointment as well. Not sure if it was just this particular location, but the I found the lamb to be very inconsistent from lollipop to lollipop. The plate came with 3 or 4 pops, and one of them looked like the runt of the litter… very sad. Also, some were more tender and flavorful than others. The real all-star of the evening were the chipotle shrimp and tuna tartare tostadas. The plating was beautiful, and all the sweet, savory, and spicy really melded perfectly together. I highly recommend these to anyone to munch on during happy hour, or as an appetizer before dinner!

First and foremost, Bonefish Grill knows how to make you feel welcome! Everything from the food, to the service, to the ambience is warm and inviting. Let’s start with the most important things first: the food. Let’s highlight some of the featured items: — Shrimp tostadas: the wanton shell was ultra crispy. I’ve never cared for Asian fusion, but this was impeccable. So, so fresh. Not heavy or greasy at all. — Tuna Tostadas: I’ve gotta say that the Ahi tuna wasn’t my favorite. The raw fish reminded me of sushi, but the wanton shell brought me back to the tostada reality with each bite. I couldn’t finish it. But I’ll tell you what, everyone else at my table LOVED these and had several, so don’t let my personal tastes deter you. — Mac and Cheese Bites: these were… interesting. The fried, cheesy quality was great, but the pasta texture inside the bites through me off, and I didn’t care for the sweet chili sauce at all. It’s like pasta-stuffed mozarella sticks meets sweet and sour sauce. — Oysters Rockafeller: this was my first time having these, so I have no basis for comparison. Think spinach artichoke dip(without the artichokes) meets seafood. A little too slippery for my taste, but not bad for a first try. — Lamp Lollipops: I don’t know why I was envisioning ground lamb on the end of a skewer. Perhaps the term«lollipop» is a misnomer. It’s really a lamb rib, but man, it’s the most tender piece of meet you’ll ever eat! Cooked to perfection! — BBQ Pork Asian Buns: again, another misnomer(or a wild imagination of mine). I was envisioning BBQ Pork wrapped up in a sweet roll. What we got was an impression presentation of the BEST pork I’ve ever had(EVER) alongside pickled veggies to go inside a hot steamed bun. YUM. — Doughnuts: seriously, the highlight of my evening. At first I was a little skeptical about having to inject my own doughnut, but with a cinnamon-sugar crusted doughnut, salted caramel, chocolate, and a site of homemade whipped cream, how could you possibly go wrong? Enough about food. Let’s talk drinks! — Moscow Mule: these are by far my favorite mixed drink in general. Bonefill Grill makes a really great version that’s ultra-spicy at first, but mellows out to be sweet and smooth. They throw in sprig of mint and a couple of pieces of candied ginger on a toothpick, which ads for a nice touch. I wish I could have had two or three of these! — Sierra Nevada Torpeda: I’m not big on beer, so I didn’t try one of these, but one of my table-mates had a couple and said they were pretty«hoppy». — Charles and Charles Red Blend: a great dry, red wine. — Espresso Martini: loved the first sip, but after that it was just way too rich. Like drinking syrup straight out of the bottle. Not my fave. The service – so efficient and friendly: — The waitress introduced herself right away — Waters and other drinks were brought over shortly thereafter — Kept bringing food, food, and more food with explanations of everything — Offered a to-go box for all of my leftovers — Drew a cute little picture of a «bonefish» on the box with the day’s date The ambience – clean, cozy, and buzzing with life — Not too loud, not too quiet — Cozy but not crowded — Very relaxing and enjoyable to be in Gotta say, I’d be back here again for a special occasion.

I can’t say enough about the food and service we got last night at this location. I had never been to Bonefish Grill, and I was entirely and delightfully surprised by the quality of the food. The seafood, especially, was well-cooked and tasty. We sampled all the new bar bites #incrediblels. I adored the shrimp and tuna tostadas that came out first, and I also very much liked the lobster tacos. The Asian pork buns were extremely tasty(especially the sauce!). The dessert donuts with whipped cream and«injector» tubes of caramel and chocolate were fun and delicious. The accompanying drinks were the icing on the cake, especially the Moscow mules and the divine espresso martini. Jennifer, our server, was just exceptional. She made sure that we were well taken care of all night. I will DEFINITELY be coming back to this location and bringing my friends.

We have never been disappointed here. Excellent servers and food! The Tuesday lobster specials are a great value. Try the lobster stuffed shrimp as an appetizer, it’s amazing. The blackberry sangria is a nice change from wine and beer! We will come back often!

Very nice atmosphere, and I agree with the reviewer who said this was a good addition to Lakewood, which is on its way to improvement, such as new restaurants. Whoever said parking is an issue, not sure where you got that idea. It is not an issue. This is Lakewood not Denver. The bang bang shrimp is always a trusted go to at this place. It was amazing. I ordered the lobster tail because there was some sort of special going on.(Tuesdays are a good day for specials here, hint, hint). It was very affordable. The table nearby had shrimp tacos, looked amazing, I am getting those next time. I like how the servers take your order with a tablet, coming from the service industry, I can see how this would be highly beneficial. It cuts out the added step of having to read the scribbled handwriting and put the order in the computer to send it to the kitchen. The bread took longer to come out than it should have, no biggy. I asked for lemons with my water, they forgot, happens.(When I was a server and people asked for more free stuff I always made it a lower priority than my tables that asked for stuff that costed something, hey you are there to make money & higher bill, higher tips). 2 alcoholic drinks, an appetizer, and 2 entrees, the total cost came to around $ 60+ tip. Not bad. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!
