Stephanie G has been cutting and coloring my hair for years and people are always complimenting me on my hair. The salon is clean, light and a great atmosphere.

Tracy is outstanding! I was feeling down and drab, she listed to exactly what I wanted and we talked about options. She did an absolutely amazing job! I feel bright and sassy now thanks to her!
I had used a box dye to darken my hair and it was fading in splotchy fashion, she checked the highlights a few times to make sure they were processing correctly and that it wasn’t hurting my hair. She toned it to give it a great natural blonde look. The cut is exactly what I wanted, she started a bit longer and then asked if I wanted it shorter, I’m so thankful! I have had a few bad oops haircuts and she made sure I wouldn’t walk away disappointed.
She’s a doll! We talked and laughed about our similar experiences, and even gave each other a hug at the end! I will definitely be going back to see her!
I did contemplate not writing a good review because it was easy to get an appointment (I don’t want her to get too busy to see me!) but I guess I can share because she deserved a bunch of business!

Went in today and saw Tracy. She gave me the best cut and great color! She was friendly and professional, she explained everything as she did it. I enjoyed my time there and I LOVE my new hair!
Great salon, drinks, goodies, great music, nice magazine selection.

I’ve got to say I do not trust a lot of people to cut my hair because 1. It is curly and dries shorter and 2. I have had multiple haircuts that were scarring. So when I came to beyond expectations I was hesitant. They’re new salon is beautiful and looks very chic. I booked an appointment with Tracy and she blew me away. I had a picture of how I wanted my hair and it was much shorter than I had gone before. But unlike most stylists Tracy understood that I wanted what I wanted and I was not going to be swayed to keep it a little longer. I loved how she cut my hair dry first to give it the right shape and then shampooed it. I loved it and I have recommended her to my sister who just got her hair dyed by Tracy and she also was very satisfied. I recommend Tracy to everyone who is looking for a new stylist because she is amazing!!!

I was hoping to find a regular stylist and after coming to Beyond Expectations, I’m still on the search for a stylist. I purchased a groupon deal for a haircut and full highlights at $ 65 with Linda W. She is a much older stylist, which left me apprehensive as to whether she is up-​to-​date on the modern styles, colors and techniques, but I gave her a try anyways.
I approached the person at the front desk whom turned out to be my stylist. I feel I was not greeted warmly. Granted the fact I was 15 min late I was told «there would not be enough time for a blow dry.» Being the nice person I am, I said that is ok.
I get seated and a quick consultation is done on the type of color I’m looking for: caramel and dark brown. The stylist mentions the groupon is good for one color so the second is extra. I even showed pictures of the two colors and how I wanted it to look. Let’s just say I’m not overly enthusiastic about the outcome. The colors are not as prominent as I would like them to be nor did it look like the picture.
Other than the consultation process, there was complete silence in conversation with the stylist my entire time there. I listened to other stylists’ conversation with their customers nearby instead. I understand people have off days, and my stylist was not rude to me or anything, rather I would say withdrawn. My hair cut is not the best I’ve had and the layers are not the greatest either considering her technique in cutting layers. She did not even check if both sides of layering were comparable, which they are not. Coloring is amateur, and not like the picture shown.
Surprisingly, the stylist decided there was enough time for a blow dry. I wanted to come out feeling like a new person, instead I just feel like myself with partial highlights and a cut. I feel the stylist was too conservative on the coloring. I would have preferred more blond than brown in my hair. Total cost for two colors, full highlights (which I feel is more like a partial highlight) cut and tip: $ 115. Service with Linda is CASH only. Even though I was not notified of this in advance, I was fortunate enough to have brought enough cash with me. End result: I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. Stylist did not capture the photo that I showed her.
Establishment itself is very trendy and clean. Plenty of parking is available.

I had a Groupon for color/​cut and was delighted with my experience. After reading negative Unilocal reviews, I was a little apprehensive, but Linda did an excellent job and even threw in a deep conditioning treatment. Excellent cut and color!

I am Laura Torres’ Window Cleaner… I always am greeted with a positive attitude and the shop Always seems to have a good vibe! I personally don’t know what it is like to get service at the salon (Because I am a guy and I choose barbershops) but I know that Laura provides great customer service and keeps her shop exquisite. My wife has gone to her salon many times and I am very thankful because she is always looking gorgeous… As a vendor, you can always gauge how customers will be treated by the way the owner/​manager treats their help and vendors. A+
