This little gem in Lakewood is the BEST thing every since sliced bread! I have been coming here for a few years and every time I come in, there are new items to paint! Always a place to sit and always someone on staff to help out. If you are looking for a «party» or just a quiet afternoon… This place has it all. Pick your piece, sit and paint! It’s that simple. Come back a week later and pick up your treasure! Great for kids and adults of all ages and skills!

Great place for kids to come and have fun on a rainy or cold day painting a «masterpiece» & great for holiday gifts from little kidos! The staff has always been very helpful every time I have gone in needed help with a piece I wanted to paint. Definitely would recommend:)

We had a Birthday party there, it was a hit with the kids and the adults too! I will be going back just for fun! Great service, they had cake and pizza and soda, they did all the work it was great, to just sit back and paint with the kids with not much hosting to be done!

An amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle of society. This place is a mini sanctuary where one can tap into their creatively suppressed spirit. The owner is fantastic as she creates a safe space for the budding artist. Good for a solo experience while jamming to music from Pandora in the ear buds. And an even better experience to share with your loved one while enjoying the company of others who dig into their creativity as well; full sense of community. This place is a true gem. READY, SET, GO!!!

We had a birthday for my 7yr old at the studio and it was perfect. We had about 6 kids and 5 adults in their party room downstairs. It was just right. The staff was attentive enough without being overly intrusive to the gathering. She gave great directions and then let us do our thing.
The price is just right too. Balloons, cupcakes in the birthday girls favorite colors, pizza and juice, plus all the makings for fun pottery painting. All for under $ 200.
Our family definately recommends this shop.

Art and Clay Studio is just about as cozy and fun (especially for kids) as
it gets in the «paint your own clay» department. We’ve tried other such
studios before, but A&C is the most inviting we’ve found. It’s rather
small inside but has never seemed cramped. And the selection of molds
to paint is good. They even have a little area in back with a potter’s
wheel to make your own clay project (you have to take a class first,
unless you can demonstrate you know what you’re doing).
The owner is kind and attentive, and always quick to help out with a
technique, give advice on color, and to give a heart-​felt compliment
to a finished project.
My daughter has been here a number of times, often staying for
a couple hours and couldn’t be happier. She’s also done a couple
of wheel projects (she learned the wheel in High School) and
never fails to have a wonderful time.
Great little place if you’re into clay projects… 5-​Stars all the way.
