OMG — HANDSDOWNTHEBESTDAMSHRIMPBURRITO in the 30 mile radius! Holy moly! I had to bring all my friends & family there and introduce them to the Vampiros(toasted tortilla with your choice of meat) & this Shrimp Burrito. I order my shrimp burrito easy on the rice with added cilantro and their spicy sauce — which is a little kick but not HOT spicy to the tongue. The burrito is made to order and the shrimp is so fresh. It’s truly delicious! The best $ 8 spent for an amazing shrimp burrito!

Okay I was in the neighborhood, and needed a little dinner. And how do Unilocalers find a good place to eat? I looked on Unilocal. So I walked in and there is no menu to pick up and look at or a big lighted sign on the wall. There is a simple chalk board that tells you the seven meats they have and the three different ways you can order that meat. ! — Taco 2 — Burrito and 3 — Vampiro. Being blonde for a large portion of my life, I was confused. Being my first time there, I was even more confused. So I asked at the counter and he explained what I just said and what a Vampiro was and the best way to eat there. When I told him that it was first time, he asked me how I heard about the place. I told him Unilocal and he said they get quite a few referrals from Unilocal and is thankful for the support. He said the tacos were just meat on a tortilla, and the Vampiro was a Tostada with the meat, guacamole and some sour cream. He said they had a condiment bard with a bunch of fresh toppings for mtg tacos. He suggested I order say, two tacos and a Vampiro. So I ordered two tacos, one carnitas and one asada. And I ordered one Vampiro with al pastor. he also told me about the complimentary beans for guests on the table adjacent to the toppings. So my order gets delivered to me at my table, and i take trip to the condiments. I put red sauce on the asada and green sauce on the carnitas. I put red sauce on the Vampiro. I also put the Chopped Jalapeño/Onion/Cilantro mixture on my tacos. I then grabbed a cup of those beans and went back to my table for a Mexican Food Fest. The tacos were really good. And the best part is that they are made just how I want them. Just like a self-serve taco bar. And all the ingredients were fresh cold and crispy — especially my favorite, the radishes. The beans were perfectly cooked. A little bland for my taste, so I added a little red sauce, sand some onions and jalapeños and was as happy as an almeja. After I ordered, the place filled up in a nanosecond. there was a big line they got taken care of quickly and wan gone almost as quickly as it appeared. A lot of people get take out, so don’t let the line intimidate you. You may have to wait a few minutes but its well worth the wait. I was hungry when I walked in and full when I walked out, I even got a soda and was out of there for less than 9 bucks(tip not included) I’ll be back.

Hands down the best tacos I have ever tasted. My fiancé and I stumbled upon this awesome establishment on our way home. The vampiro tacos are so delicious I ordered the carne asada, pastor and shrimp. My favorite hands down was the shrimp taco which had grilled green peppers, onions, sour cream, cheese and guacamole. Oh and I can’t forget the agua frescas cucumber and horchata thee best. The staff is so friendly and welcoming we will definitely be coming back with the whole family. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Found this place on Unilocal awhile ago and I thought it was crazy how it had 5 stars but I must say after trying it out it was pretty good! The service was great and for a Mexican restaurant it was clean as well. I got a quesadilla and a vampiro both carne asada and it was bomb. My cousin got theirs tacos and liked them too. I really like their salsa bar too and how they don’t charge extra for anything. Will definitely go back!

Weeknight gets busy after 7pm but still scored a couple tables for our group of 7. Love the Vampiro which is any taco with a crispy tortilla, a spoonful of guacamole and drizzle of cream sauce. Got the Pollo and Carnitas meat, but there are 7 types of meat to choose from. Both were good. Carnitas is juicy and a bit oily. Side table has toppings w salsa, lettuce, onions, carrots, etc. Reg tacos are $ 1.60. oh, the guava drink is tasty.

A lot of Mexican joints serve tacos that don’t bring this clean kind of feeling when you eat, but when you come to adobo you get that feeling. I’ve only eaten the tacos and vampiros here and my goodness it is on point. The meat is tender and juicy and they serve it with an awesome tortilla, in my opinion, taste better that other Mexican tacos places. Additionally, they have a station with lettuce, two different kinds of onions, carrots, sauces, etc that no other Mexican plans got. The combination of everything I listed above seriously make this my favorite Mexican taco place. Like seriously, If this place ran out of meat I’d hunt a cow and pig and bring it then to serve… of course I got to get some free tacos haha. Check it out for selves and hope this review helps. Don’t do with high expectations. !

OMG I stumbled across this place on The way home. Randomly I Unilocaled a place because I was very hungry. I’m so happy. The people here were so nice to me. Definitely Recommend this place: easy parking. Now to the food: I only ordered Asada And Shrimp burrito, added cheese and sour cream. It was so flavorful. The ratio from meat to cilantro and onions was perfect. The Asada was juicy, tender and seasoned well. The shrimp was mixed with bell peppers and onions creating a nice crunch and spice. Def be back to try the vampiro(a tostada goodness)

My friend introduced me to this place. At first I thought this place was just like any other taco place, but I was wrong. The menu is simple, all of what you might find a standard taco shop. The difference is in their taste. I would have to say that Adobo is one of the best taco shops around that area and it is my go to taco shop when I have a craving of tacos. I usually get their tacos, but their vampiros are pretty delicious too! If its your first time come here I’d recommend that you try their tacos and vampiors with your meat of choice. They also sever complementary beans on the side(self serve) which is great if you like beans.

I saw this place on a list of top food places of Unilocal and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I ordered an asada burrito with everything on it, and 3 tacos of chicken, asada, and carnitas. The tacos were good. Very flavorful. They have a nice salsa bar. The burrito was the disappointment. I didn’t enjoy the flavor at all. It was just somewhat too sour tasting, probably from the asada but it overpowered every other ingredient in the burrito. I really wanted to like this place, especially since it’s close by to my home. I would give the tacos 4 stars but the burrito 2 stars. If you want tacos I would recommend this place but if you want a burrito, I suggest you go somewhere else.

Awesome place, I’m a fan. We came in during a busy Saturday night, and I thought…“Oh, this line is going to take forever, and we definitely won’t get a seat!” Wrong on both counts, thankfully! Quick service, and people wolf down the food so turnover is fast for a table. Also, they had someone take your order while still in line, so by the time you got to the cashier, she rings you in really quickly and gets your drink too. I wanted to get a smörgåsbord-type meal, so I asked for suggestions. I got 4 tacos at $ 1.69 each, and got chorizo, al pastor, pollo adobo and asada. To be honest, I couldn’t tell them apart when it arrived being unfamiliar with my taco choices but they were ALL amazing. They didn’t skimp on the meat at all, and you could customize your toppings at the topping bar. Also ordered a burrito — half shrimp half adobo and it was AMAZING! The shrimp was sweet and fresh, and perfect size($ 7.50). Finished off with a horchata, which includes one free refill. I liked the horchata a lot, wasn’t too sweet, but it did have a strong cinnamon flavour. Free beans for all — nice touch. A very inexpensive meal for maximum satisfaction. Me likey.

Who knew that such an unassuming little restaurant in Lakewood would be in the Unilocal Top 100? I don’t think I would recommend that you travel great lengths to seek this place out, but I was extremely happy with my decision to stop by when I was in the area. Their parking lot seems to get crowded easily, but parking was not too bad. I came on a Tuesday around 1:30, and surprisingly not that many people were around. Their menu is very simple — Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, and Vampiros are offered with the same few meats. I ordered 2TACOS($ 1.69), 1VAMPIRO($ 2.75), and an AGUAFRESCA(~$ 2?). They do take card, but I believe there was a little bit of an extra charge, so just bring cash. For the agua fresca, you can choose from Horchata, Guava, and Pina. There is one free refill so I tried the Guava and Pina. AMAZING! I personally liked the Guava better, but both were super fresh and natural. Of course, the salsa bar is phenomenal. FREEBEANS? I ate a whole cup before getting my order. Whoops! They have 3 kinds of sauces(the one in the squeeze bottle is quite spicy), cilantro, onion, lime, radish, pickled onion, cabbage, pickled veggies, and tomatoes. Dress up your naked tacos in every which way. Only problem was that the traffic around the salsa bar got a little crazy, because it’s parked right next to the utensils and people use that table to put their condiment cups. I tried asada, lengua, and carnitas on my food. All the meats were very good and seasoned well. The tortillas are handmade too. Now, what is a Vampiro? It is basically a crunchy tortilla topped with melted cheese, the meat, a scoop of guac, and sour cream! It is quite delicious. Those three tacos filled me up satisfactorily(didn’t hurt to have the side of beans). Food: 5, Service: 4, Environment: 4, Price: 4

I’ll keep this review short. After the amazing reviews I thought this place was going to be really good. So. You walk in order what you want, they have a little salsa bar you can get condiments on. The tacos dont come dressed so hence the salsa bar. Vampiro — Best thing on the menu, nice thin crispy toritlla shell with meat of choice guac and sour cream. This had a lot more flavor and was pretty good. Tacos — I tried asada, pollo, and al pastor. These meats have no flavor! What is everyone going crazy about. the salsa isn’t even flavorful either! The only thing i’d ever order at this place is the Vampiro. Overall — Nothing to go tell everyone about. This place was really mediocre in my opinion.

Back at it again with the Unilocal reviews. I rarely give 5 stars to establishments I’ve only been to once but Adobo Taco Grill is an exception. I can see why it has a lot of positive feedback from its customers. The food is amazing, even so the price of the food. I had a quesadilla de pastor, a taco de asada, a taco de chorizo, and an horchata. All of which are freshly prepared and delicious. It only came out to $ 10. No wonder everyone in the restaurant has a smile on their face. They even have of big pot of beans serve yourself style. What blew me away was the service, I did not expect it to come from such a busy place. Leah/Leia(don’t know how to spell her name) is the type of employee that any customer service establishment wishes they had. Not only does she have a positive and upbeat vibe to her but she also goes above and beyond her job. She interacts with the customers with such a friendly, respectful tone and connects with them. If you look like a noob and it’s your first time in the restaurant, she lets you know about the extra services the restaurant provides(free refills, etc.) Actually, all the employees were positive and welcoming. When it gets busy, someone takes your order ahead of time and have a small conversation with you while you wait in line. I felt like I was welcomed… like the restaurant gave me a metaphorical hug. Customer service = 5⁄5 stars. This hole in the wall spot should be known to more people. Quality food, quality service, quality restaurant. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

We heard about Adobo Taco Grill from Unilocal.Great rating. Local. Had to give it a try. Other street tacos we’ve bought have left us cold. Adobo is definitely the go-to place for the real deal. Got there on a Saturday. Lunch time. After the kids’ peewee games. Adobo’s sits on the Woodruff side of a corner strip mall. Lots of parking. Limited space for in-house eating. No outdoor seating. The line backed up almost out the door. Thankfully foot traffic flowed smoothly. The blackboard menu sits next to the order desk. Hard to see from back of the line. Surely they’ll adjust menu location as crowds continue to swell or dissipate. Limited menu — tacos, burritos, quesadilla, vampiro. But that didn’t seem to bother anyone. We bought two carnitas tacos. Usually enough for my husband’s finicky stomach, but after consuming them he wanted to drive back and buy a couple more. They were healthy sized, but upon finishing them he declared, «I’m still hungry. Let’s go back and get some more.» We’ll be back, regularly. Excellent service. Clean.

BESTTACOPLACEEVER! If I enjoy a place, you will definitely find me eating there a couple times within the week. If this place was closer to me, you would see me here at least 4 times a week. It gets really busy and there is not much of a seating area. The customer service here is TOPNOTCH! I highly recommend the ALPASTOR& lengua. I have tried the pollo & the chorizo as well and they were good but not as amazing as the al pastor. What is great about this place is the CONDIMENTS&FREEBEANS! My boyfriend tried the Al Pastor Burrito and that is his favorite from here. I wanted a Chipotle feel to it and asked them if they could do a bowl for me and they did! I basically got half al pastor, half lengua and everything that came in the burrito in the to-go box. It made it really easy to put all the condiments that I wanted in the box and eat it all together. **They have Horchata, Cucumber, and Strawberry drinks here. They ask you if you want to sample when you are in line. If you order it, you get free refills.

Best tacos within this area hands down. Stopped in for lunch with my friend Javy who also recommended the tacos. Grabbed five… adobo chicken, chorizo, carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas. All were delicious and filling. $ 1.50 each and good flavors, not bad. The salsa bar is nice offering pickled onions as well as the traditional onions and cilantro. There’s also a pot for unlimited beans so I continuously went for those with salsa & onions on top. They also offer horchata, Fresca and a pineapple drink for the refreshments and offers one refill once finished. This was great in my opinion because most places I go to don’t allow refills on horchata… soda yes but not the horchata and they serve up some decent horchata here. I can never get tired of tacos so I’m glad I now have a go to within this area. Lunch 2÷9÷2016

I haven’t given a 5-star for a while but I’m shocked that I didn’t come to this place sooner. I got here last night 30 minutes before it closed and decided that I wanted somewhat of a light late dinner. So I decided to get 3 tacos and the vampiro. Not having mexican food in a while I didn’t really know what to expect and all I remember was having El Taurino in Los Angeles. I put my condiments on the tacos and took a bite and fell in love. Out of the 3 flavors I tried I think the Al Pastor is the best and would probably go for a burrito next time. But overall the taco quality is great and the meat is not greasy which was a shock to me. The beans that they let you have on the side with no charge is a great compliment to the actual food itself and creates great balance within the meal. THEYALSOHAVESMARTWATERFORSALE. I just thought I would throw that out there for you bottled water lovers. Definitely will be back and definitely will have the al pastor burrito next.

Service, taste, quality, all of it done right! It looked like such an easy menu on the wall, that I didn’t expect much from this place. That is why you can’t judge a book by its cover! This place does everything right. Let’s start off with the service, the workers, all super cool and friendly. If you buy one of the fresh drinks, refills are free, they’ll hook it up. I definitely recommend the pina, very good and tasty, a good balance of sweet and refreshing. I also love how they have fresh beans available at the salsa bar. And if all Mexican restaurants were judged by their salsa, this place takes the crown. One of the best salsas I’ve tried in a long time. The taste and quality, we got the asada burrito, pollo and carnitas tacos and the pastor
