Out of town and wanted to find a place for a good breakfast to last us most of the day. My friend and I LOVED this place. Out of their way friendly staff, and unique breakfast combinations that were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every second of our time there. Decent prices, and delicious food. Def a place to go if you’re in the area!

I had the sesame chicken quinoa salad that was outstanding. There was an order of French toast that looked to die for and the traditional breakfasts had a tasty look about them that screamed ‘eat me’! The staff was expedient and convivial. Highly recommend for your breakfast needs and lunch for that matter.

Another Broken Egg Café is not just another breakfast pop-in. These establishments are the bee knees when it comes to a hearty breakfast. First they are well-appointed in southwest motif and seem very clean. Bathroom(men’s) was spotless at our location and that speaks highly of management. Their outdoor café areas are nice and provide shaded tables — very good. I enjoyed the standard breakfast that included 2 eggs scrambled(a little dry), bacon, grits instead of potatoes(creamy but stiff — nice), toast and coffee. The food was on the table in a real jiffy so I think the short order cook was flipping, frying, toasting and roasting at high speed. The food was hot, too. This is a regular stop of mine if I’m in the Lakewood Ranch/Bradenton East area near Concession Club golf course. I would recommend it to anyone. And,… it’s Dick«DIcky V’s» Vitale’s hangout.

Exceptional food and service. Our server, Stephanie was superb. This was our second visit and we had to ask to sit with her again. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I had a great breakfast at Another Broken egg. The biscuits and gravy was the best I have had in Sarasota area. My wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits. It was Sunday morning. We got there just in time before it got really busy. The service was a little slow. We had to wait to get our coffee and had to wait for a to-go cups as a result. The table beside us send their food back because it was cold. The manager seemed to address the problem well. They could have used a couple more servers. We will go back.

Eggcellent meal! I ordered the Beignets and the Grits topped with Bacon. Both were prepared well and served hot. Beware — the Beignets are made from biscuit dough, so are heavier than most. Great size to share, tho. Hubs ordered the waffle and bacon — both were crispy and hot. Coffee and hot tea was readily replenished and service was pleasant. We will return!

I loved the lox Benedict and I upgraded to the Mediterranean potatoes with fried onions and feta. There were several other dishes I wanted to try because everything looked good. My eggs were poached perfectly and the toppings(scallions, red onion, capers) were a perfect compliment. I didn’t get anything to drink, but maybe next time…

Long lines to wait for a table! They need to hire a bus boy. I like the food… Especially the pancakes.

Usually this breakfast joint is busy and for a good reason. Good food, great service and quick on and out. Today it seemed busier than normal On a day in late October you could tell things were off. Anyways we were seated after about 25 minutes and we all ordered. I like my eggs NOT well done and ordered them that way. When they came they were like rubber. Another one in my party remarked how over cooked her eggs were too. Let’s chalk it up to an off day. We will be back.

Our go-to breakfast spot. We enjoyed the previous Broken Egg restaurant as well, you can’t beat the interior and outside seating area. They have delicious options and something for everyone! Yummy Bloody Mary’s and endless egg options with a very friendly staff.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I love their food. Generally it comes out warm and correct. A couple of times it hasn’t, but it is breakfast food. Their city grits are awesome and their waffle sliders are great too. Where the hate comes from. The service. They are painstakingly slow. Once my husband counted 8 servers just standing around doing nothing. It also took us and hour and a half to get breakfast(not including the time it took us to get seated) and it was only the two of us who ordered two basic meals. I heard one waitress mention they wanted to give the kitchen a break… I am sorry, a break?! A break in the middle of a breakfast rush at a breakfast place??? I am guessing their kitchen is too small or understaffed all the time. I do recommend the food here but only come if you have no where to be at a certain time. We have come more than a few times and one constant is having slow service while a ton of servers standing around twiddling their thumbs. The restaurant itself is really cute and clean. They also have a nice outdoor patio with shade and fans.

Had a delicious breakfast this morning here! My sister and I split the classic Eggs Benedict with a side of cheesy grits. It was a bit pricey at $ 12 but the portions were generous and it was very yummy! The grits were very good, especially when I added Cholula hot sauce! They have a full bar which is nice and we saw some stacked bloody Mary’s heading out to other tables with bacon and ochra! A fun brunch spot for sure and we didn’t even have to wait for a table!

We visited yesterday morning for a spot of breakfast before shopping. The choice of omelettes is extensive and there are a handful of other options such as pancakes or french toast. As everything is made fresh to order it’s easy to customise your meal and make substitutions. The portions are large(compared to the UK) and the omelettes come with an English muffin and potatoes. Their coffee was also better than most breakfast places I’ve experienced in Florida. Although the prices are high for the area I think they are good value for money and the staff were all friendly so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend another broken egg.

I really like this place… great for brunch! My last visit this past weekend I had the traditional with bacon. And instead of potatoes I had the tomato slices. Nice tomato slices, not green or yellow or super under-ripe. Time before that I had the granola, fruit & quinoa… blueberry quinoa that is… it was surprisingly delicious and hopefully healthy. The coffee is good! I’ll certainly be back.

We came to visit a friend and we wanted to try a yummy breakfast place. We looked up Another Broken Egg Café. First off, the place is very cute and welcoming. We were immediately seated and were greeted by our server Jessica who was really nice. We started with the beignets which I highly recommend. I ordered the smoked salmon Benny which was delicious with yummy capers and the eggs were perfectly poached. My cousin had the crab cake Benny which was also really yummy. The sauce was creamy and well balanced in flavor. They serve their coffee in the cutest mugs that they sell. Overall, great experience and I would definitely come back and recommend.

I came here for brunch with my family! We were immediately seated and I had coffee on my table very quickly. Normally I would order one of the eggs benedict dishes but I couldn’t resist the waffle sliders! I got them with egg whites and bacon, and fresh fruit instead of potatoes. It COULDNOT have been better. It might be one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had and it tasted even better because the staff was so friendly and quick. That agave butter. We also had beignets with honey marmalade and I had to resist taking them all for myself! Would definitely come back, great first impression. Prices are also very nice.

Let me preface this review by saying my family is friends of the owner Susan. As a Sarasota local my first impulse is to compare Another Broken Egg Café with one of the Broken Egg restaurants around town, but that would be a mistake. Another Broken Egg Café is not simply another Broken Egg, brunch here is an exercise in the gourmet. Reading their menu, my eyes immediately jump to words like«ciabatta», «caramelized», «artisan“and other terms that evoke the trendy ingredients that have become hallmarks of modern vogue eateries. Walls are painted warm colors with rustic decorations metallic oversized utensils hanging about. After a warm greeting our meal began with a plate of beignets – piping hot biscuits tossed in powdered sugar with a marmalade to dip them in. For my meal I had the café burger that was stacked with caramelized onions, sun-dried tomatoes and feta. The burger was cooked just as I’d asked with a hint of pink. It came out a little behind the rest of our food, but was worth the wait. Another Broken Egg Café isn’t just another breakfast, it’s a chance to treat yourself to a quality meal, best enjoyed with friends and family.

We visited for the first time in some while. Our server was attentive and the food was fresh. They have good mimosas as well. We ordered the bagel with locks and fried potatoes with a side of hash browns. My wife loved the hash browns but I found them bland. Overall I enjoy this joint just fine. I don’t mind eating there once in a while. It is a bit pricey for breakfast though, my only qualm and the reason for the lost star.
