I became Dr. DeMaio’s patient after going to the ER and being admitted to LRMC with a very large DVT earlier this month. This was my second DVT. Even though the first happened 20 years ago and I was treated by another doctor he thought it was important to not only treat the current DVT but also determine why I had the second one with no risk factors. After talking through the options, my family and I trusted Dr. DeMaio to perform two procedures during which he discovered I had MTS as he had suspected. Everything went as planned including my quick recovery time. I thought the Cath team that worked with Dr. D at LRMC was great. I just had my 2^nd follow-​up appointment in his office. It’s refreshing — I’m on time, the staff is on time and he’s on time. I’m a big fan. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to update my review.

Dr. DeMaio is top notch. I would recommend him to anyone seeking care from a cardiologist or vein specialist. He definitely knows what he is doing!
