Rich Watson – State Farm Insurance Agent

I am only writing this review because I felt compelled to do so after reading the woman from Oregon’s rip.
My husband and I have been customers of Rich Watson and his staff for about 20 years. We have always had courteous, professional service that was quick during any time of day. When the Oregon chick said «I don’t know what this guy is talking about» I suspect high-​maintenance insurance folks wouldn’t like Rich’s professional staff and service.
I’m happy that the needy non-​Texan woman’s previous insurance person took her back.
As for us, the bottom line is customer service and Rich and his staff have always been outstanding at it, not pushing us to buy more, use more or doing the hard-​sell.
Further, there have been many, MANY, times that we have considered switching our insurance to save us money but we have stayed with Rich’s office because we don’t want to take the chance of getting sub-​par service.
They get the job done and good customer service is hard to find. If you find that they don’t meet your needs then perhaps you should consider the issue is not with their office but with the customer.

I don’t know what this guy is talking about. I’ve only had one insurance agent worse than Rich Watson. And she ripped me off for $ 1500 by not telling me about named-​non-​owner policies back when I was 17.
If you bring your policy to this office, you will be treated to rates that change wildly every single month and office staff who can’t explain to you why this happens no matter how many times you call and try to get it explained. If you’re really lucky, they might lie to you when you shop around with them and then charge you almost double what they quoted you to get your business!
They were so bad that they still couldn’t figure this stuff out six months later. I finally had my old agent take the policy over again due to the frustration with not being able to even get an answer out of these people.
A week after the old guy took over again, everything was straightened out. Maybe my old agent (also State Farm) was just the best ever, but it sure doesn’t seem to take much to be better than this guy. Too bad I can’t give no stars.
