This park gets five stars for its amenities. Two different play areas, having play scapes for younger and older children. A huge pavilion that you can reserve or use if no one has reserved it. It has two barbecue grills, one small and one large along with a cement overlook that is fenced in and safe for children. A short walk down to the lake, albeit may be dry at the moment. The kids enjoyed collecting treasures like shells from the dry riverbed. The drive down to it is very relaxing and scenic.

I think if the lake level was up I’d enjoy this park a lot more. Nice grassy area to sit and read or toss a frisbee. Fenced in dog park area is relatively small, but at least they have one so my dog can socialize. Benches to sit on. There is a playground if you have kiddos. No other«amenities» so-to-speak for adults(e.g., basketball court like Bee Cave park).

Nice park, good for walking or taking the kids to. Two play areas for the kiddos and a nice paved walkway throughout. Seems funny to see the Swim at Your Own Risk signs as the water is so far away.

For a neighborhood dog park it has everything a pampered pooch needs — a clean play area, benches for the people parents and lots of water buckets, pools and a hose. What I don’t like is the occasional dog owner who shows up to socialize their dog that is not allowed to play or run. This is a dog park people! And for those of you who are breed intolerant, the pit bulls are not gonna eat your babies! Obviously they are cared for by owners who love them just as much as you love little Emmy Lou. They are not going to let their dog get indigestion from the crap you put in your dogs pony tail!
