We’ve been getting take-out from J & J’s for 30+ years and believe they have the best fried fish in the area. We’ve had their fish and chips, fried clams, seafood plates, clam cakes … all are awesome. Call ahead if you’re in the area and it will save some waiting time

Saw this place listed on Unilocal when I was in the mood for seafood figured I would bring my kids and give it a try. It’s a nice cozy place i felt like I was eating at my aunts house. Very good food. I ordered king size sea food platter portion was big to split between two and price was very decent. I’ll be back

I have been going here with my family since I was born. The nicest people own it and the food is DELICIOUS – a great casual place with a take-out window. I grew up on the hot dogs(delicious) and finally ventured to fish when I was about 10– they have the BEST fish and chips and the portions are HUGE. My new personal favorite is their clam strips which are OUTOFTHISWORLD. Can’t say enough good things about this place! They opened up a stand across the pond for just take out which I highly recommend as well! =)

This place is fantastic! I’m now 32 and have been going here for over 15 years! It has the BEST fried fish around… so much so that I don’t get«fish and chips», I get a «large fish only» — no point in wasting the calories and room on french fries! They also have the best tartar sauce I’ve ever had! Wish they were open year-round!

This drive-in is fantastic. Very nostalgic and I’m sure it’s been around for ages. Unfortunately there aren’t too many places like these left, but J & J’s does it right. Fresh seafood, refreshing drinks and some pretty cool desert options as well(they had deep fried cheesecake on the menu, but I didn’t try it). I got the fried seafood platter(fried scallops, shrip, clams and fish) and it didn’t disappoint. Well worth the visit if you’re in the area. Only open in the summer unfortunately and it is typically open Thursday-Sunday.
