Not a bad place at all. The only competition they have is the theater in Show Low. And this theater beats Show Low by a wide margin. This place is Clean, fast, and friendly.

For how small the area is, the theater is fairly well maintained and the movie selection is pretty up to date. Prices are decent for what you get when you take the location into account. The two times we have gone, we haven’t dealt with overly crowded theaters or long lines. The staff has been polite and the place is pretty clean.

It is really great to have a movie the here in a small market like Lakeside. It is all digital with all the latest movies. Unfortunately, however, the place is dirty and has a lot of deferred maintenance. Since they have no competition things probably not likely to get better until the owners show some pride in the business.

There is nothing better than catching a movie while up in the mountains! Now I must confess, this review is greatly based off of a certain nostalgia I experience each time I visit the place where I grew up… so I may be giving a little more credit then realistically may be due and for that, I apologize. But I guess I’m suggesting that even if you have not grown up here, you too, can make memories that will identify with a certain nostalgia in the future. Ok for the review. The staff is always pleasant, the theaters are not all that big or clean, the seats are not all that comfortable, the refreshments are typical movie theater refreshments, but like I said, you just can’t beat catching a flick while visiting the mountains.

Movie theaters are all about basically the same, but this one was nicer than most because the people working there were all friendly and helpful and in general seemed like they enjoyed movies themselves. Very nice folks make for a great visit.

A tidy, fairly modern venue. Popcorn and drink prices seemed high but we were happy to support this small town non– megaplex. Highly recommend. And you gotta love a theater where the ticket taker has to run over and work concession stand too. Kind of a retro operation

I know there are not a lot if choices for theaters to see a movie around here, but really this theater needs to have the seats deep cleaned, if not replaced. I had the unfortunate experience of coming into the theater early, while the lights were still on because I knew it was going to be a packed theater. I started looking around at the chairs before I sat down and every single chair had something disgusting spilled(I hope it was just spilled) or stuck to it. I sat there uncomfortable, not wanting to touch anything the entire time I watched the movie. I am so grossed out, I told my husband that I could not return knowing that the chairs were that filthy. Please clean the chairs!

It’s a pretty clean theatre. There’s several good places to eat that are built just outside. Seats are comfortable and the backs recline.

We had a nice time here. The place is small and gets crowded so if you have space isses go on an off time. The staff was really cool, seats were comfy, the popcorn was good(self butter stations and seasonings too) Prices are about the same as Phoenix. The only bad thing is there seems to be a general rule that infants are OK to bring with you. oh well.
