Rented a one bedroom cabin for the weekend. For the price it did the job. There were several spiders that i killed while there but i guess that might be expected in an old cabin. They could use a new shower head. Most of it didn’t work so water pressure wasn’t very good. For an old cabin for the price it wasn’t bad. I would probably stay here again.

We rented cabin 20, the large studio w/​2 double beds. It was huge! It was also very clean. There were a few things I didn’t care for: LOTS of spiders inside, screens didn’t fit so we couldn’t leave the door open, light on stove never turns off, mold in the bathroom, looked like the smoke detector wasn’t working, very old bath towels, yucky dirty sponge for kitchen cleaning, no back to tv remote control, no a/​c (the room got pretty warm!) & the wifi didn’t reach our cabin. The kitchen was stocked pretty good. But the whole place just seemed old & worn. I think the owners could do some updates & charge more. It was an ok experience but we won’t be back.

The place is clean and updated. We stayed in one of the two bedrooms and it was fabulous. The kitchen had every utensil, appliance and dish we could want. They really have thought of everything you would need. The grounds are very nice also. The people running The Place are friendly and almost always available when you need extra towels, etc. Love this place.
