Montessori East County Preschool & Infant Care

I absolutely love this school and recommend it to anyone. My son started going at 18 months and has gotten use to his activities, teachers and learning new things every time he goes. The staff is great and always there to lend a hand. The location is perfect too!

We had interviewed countless pre-​schools and home day cares when I stumbled across this adorable school. We were new to the neighborhood at that time. We made the best decision ever when we enrolled the girls at Montessori East County Preschool.
You have handled our twin daughter’s daily accidents during nap time with grace and patience. You patched boo boo’s that inevitably happen when kids are having fun with their play mates. You gave them something to look forward to each day and provided many wonderful activities, field trips and experiences. You loved them, guided them and took them under your wings. You left them with positive memories that will last a life time.
Thanks to your wonderful teachers my girls are better prepared to start Kindergarten.

My son has been attending since January and we have never had any problems. He loves seeing his teacher, Miss Margarita. They ALL work so well with the kids. And parents. I most definitely recommend this preschool!

My daughter has been attending this school since she was three months old. Now just over 2 years old she’s in their toddler program. Our whole family just loves this place. The teachers are all wonderful and caring, the assistant director is very hands-​on and really tries to work with families. It’s more than worth every penny, I highly recommend to anyone.

I searched for a preschool that I felt comfortable sending my son to and this is it! The staff is very friendly and are respectful to the children.

This is a very reputable preschool, though I have to be honest and say that the backbone of the teachers, Mrs. Jackson, will be retiring this year and she will take years of experience with her. Not every teacher is to my liking but the overall processes of the school are well-​planned and the kids have a special activity planned every month like a field trip to the San Diego Zoo, a small party or bike days. I especially like that the director balances legality with what will truly work with little kids.
The facility is also a great choice: a large white house with a wrought-​iron fence around the entire structure so that kids are safe, but have tons of room to play. The large play yard has the perfect scattering of playhouses and trikes, with plenty of shade and sinks everywhere to clean little hands. I drove by this school for months while my son finished the year at another preschool by our old house and noticed every time that there are always kids outside, happily playing.
My only concern is that sometimes the toys for the older kids could be more challenging, in my opinion. The
