Don’t do it. If I could give zero stars I would. They were hired to do our complex. It was supposed to be finished in July– one month. The date is December 8 and I’m staring at a crane out my window as my child tries to nap through all the noise. A full 6 months after the project was supposed to be finished they are still working on it. On the days they do show up they have two people. They’ve taken too many jobs and don’t have the man power to keep their commitments. They left tiles and tools on the roof which then fell off, and would have killed someone if anyone had been standing under there. Since they started on our roof all sorts of items have gone missing from the complex. Coincidence? Could be. However we witnessed one of the men digging in the trash bin and pulling out the neighbor’s vacuum. They also continually stuffed toilet paper in the pool door so it wouldn’t lock so they could use the bathroom-too lazy to share the key the were given. Huge safety hazard as our complex has many children. I have no idea why our HOA chose this company but I would never ever recommend them. Really hoping our roof gets completed by Christmas.

I had Witherow Roofing re-roof my house in December of 2010. I am retired and spent much of the time on the roof watching the work in progress. When they re roofed the flater portion of my home, they used rolled torch down roofing material. This process involves heating the rolled roofing material with an oversized propane torch creating an expansive flame. On that portion of the roof I have metel electrical conduit(pipe) traveling over it to distribute electricity to room additions and upgrade modifications. During the roofing«torch down» installation the workers were hitting the conduit with the torch. At the time, I was grateful that it didnt cause an electical problem. Last week a circuit breaker tripped that had electrical wire going through the conduit. I called an electrician and he replaced several strands of the wire in the conduit. He told me that I was very fortunate that the melted wires did not cause an electical fire in the house. I saved the wires and a company representative is more than welcome to come by and examine them. Don’t try and save a few hundred dollars(like I did) by cutting corners when it comes to the safety of your family.

Horrible experience with this company. They are a cash only business which leads me to question their business. We had some small leaks and they did not do what was promised from the estimate. I left a message and they never called me back and just sent a bill. The worker was only up there for 15 minutes and said he was done. Rained the next day and same leaks were there! They’ve been around for a while, but maybe they are going down hill…

I can easily say that JP Witherow is a very solid company. I had my roof done by them and it turned out great! I initally had a different company that gave me a cheaper quote come out and do my roofing. Half way through they cancled the job order and did’nt finish my roof as they could not get it to stop leaking or get the materials to stop bubbling. I called JP and they assured me that they could take care of it. They did the tear off within an hour and left no mess behind. They did the roofing and the facia border around my house and it came out excellent! I have been through a couple heavy downpour’s and the roof has not leaked. You get what you pay for and you definately get a great job with JP Witherow.
