AT&T Authorized Retailer

Employee that I dealt with was brand new and left alone. He had to keep calling someone on the phone to find out what he needed to do with my sale. He didn’t even know the promotions going on and totally mislead me into thinking I was getting something I wasn’t. After feeling bamboozled, I told him I didn’t want to go through with the sale and I was told that since «things were already put in the computer, he couldn’t cancel the transaction.» I walked away with items I didn’t even want but was told I couldn’t return.
The next day, my husband went in to see what had happened and why I couldn’t return or cancel the transaction. He talked to the employee I dealt with the day before and basically the guy lied to my husband about what he had told me about my sale. My husband then tried to talk to the manager, Val, who didn’t like that my husband was questioning everything and out right told him she wouldn’t talk to him anymore, but that my husband could ask a question of the employee I had dealt with and that he would have to ask the question to her and then she would answer the question. ARE WE TWO YEARS OLD!!! What kind of manager acts like that? SO unprofessional. My husband ended up calling AT&T and found out what should have happened with my transaction the night before.
I will not be returning to this location ever again. The Santee store has excellent service and I wish I would have gone to them in the first place.

Didn’t have the phone I wanted in stock. Had to wait about 3, weeks. Don’t worry to make it easier on you they said they would have the phone mailed directly to the store. Duh! I guess they don’t know their own address because UPS text me it was undeliverable. No such address. After calling the store and speaking to a young ding a ling girl I became even more irritated. Talk about no help. They won’t research it! She could care less! Now several calls to UPS. SORRY you’ll have to wait till Monday now. Grrrrrr. Finally a Saturday pick up arranged with UPS. TOO BAD MY convenient delivery ended up costing me time and trouble and a drive myself to Chula Vista UPS to pick up my phone. DONT GO TO THIS STORE. Go to a REAL CORPORATE STORE.

Eye opener. AT&T operates corporate stores and allows what appears to be franchises or otherwise privately owned retail stores. As a current AT&T customer, you have NO BUSINESS in one of these stores. As a matter of fact, if you are looking for a new provider, AT&T is great, just don’t go to one of these franchise storefronts to do it. Seek out a corporate store so that you are dealing directly with AT&T.
I don’t have anything positive, at all, to say about this business. I am merely pointing out the fact that there are corporate stores and «retail» stores and the fact that you don’t really need the retail stores. They only mark up what the corporate stores can provide you. In fact, I’m not really sure why they exist.
Do yourself a favor and take a look at the prices between the two.

Newly opened AT&T at Lakeside. The staff and the Store Manager Joanna was very helpful, answered all my questions and was very polite. The store is huge and carries varieties of phones. The staffs are pretty knowledgeable on the phones they are selling and the service they provide. Will definitely go back here, because of the fantastic costumer service.
