8th Street Grill

Miss Ashley’s is truly the best kept secret in Coos County. The staff is always welcoming as well as entertaining. Any meal here is worth the trip to Lakeside.

Excellent food, great service. Came here with my mom and brother. She said it was really good, so okay I wasn’t so sure. But it is really very good. Thank you Chef John hopefully more people will come to see and eat your wonderful food.

We had dinner here last night. We were very surprised with not only the service, but the food was out of this world. My husband had the corn beef and cabbage and I had the NY steak with grilled onions and mushrooms. The steak came with steamed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. It was way more than I could eat! The steak was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor. My husband are every bite of his dinner. There was a very large serving in his dish. We had iced tea and coffee to drink and they were refilled frequently.
I would highly recommend that reservations be made as there are only 6tables. This is one of the few places that I have seen the Chef come out on the floor and ask if everything is alright. We will be going back again soon. Hopefully for the prime rib.

We went to the 8^th Street Grill for breakfast. While the place is really small, the food was good and it was really quite nice inside. We will definitely be back and try it again. Since there is not much in Lakeside to choose from, it is great when you find a place that you like.

Came in for breakfast on a whim and had the best omelette I’ve ever had. Ordered the mushroom, bacon, & grilled onions and it came with avocados!.. my favorite. Talk about flavor! If you’re in the area and need a decent place to grab a bite give this place a try. Friendly service too… not too intrusive, but kept my coffee hot and full. Looking forward to my next visit.

This is a must eat place! So much flavor and it’s all good. I’ve been here for breakfast and lunch and never been disappointed. Grits and cheese are the best grits I have ever had. The omelettes are fantastic. The Cajun burger is my favorite, and the chicken salad sandwich is to die for. The is not just food to fill your belly– this food feeds your soul.

We had the bacon BBQ burger, and garlic shrimp po boy. Both were really good. The inside is small but clean and they have a really cool outdoor area.
I am looking forward to trying more of their food.

So we tried the new 8^th Street Grill in Lakeside we it was the same people that cooked for remmys in Winchester Bay what we had was terrible just like we had in Winchester Bay. The Cook has a mouth that never stops talking so we couldn’t have enjoyed the food even if was good. What we had was spicy flavorless and all around unprofessional.
