This place serves its purpose, and as others have noted it’s the only local movie theater, so you take what you can get. I think that for the prices of tickets and food, the upkeep of the theater itself could be much better. The floors are sticky/​dirty. My biggest issue are the armrests on the seats that can’t be moved to give patrons more room. The seats are my LEAST favorite part of this theater. However, they tend to have a decent selection of movies and their service is alright.

I have only been to this perticular movie theater a few times. I remember going to the auto movies behind the theater as a young boy. I always wondered what the actual theater was like.
2 months ago I experienced it; I was not impressed. Although the prices were reasonable I felt like staff needed better customer service which over shadowed anything that could be remotley positive at this theater.
I was rushed when buying a ticket and rushed when purchasing food. Even worse it was the manager at the theater. He was extremely unfriendly and seemed like he didn’t truly want to help you.
Besides from the bad service the theater needed a serious upgrade. The seats were terribly uncomfortable. The carpet looked filthy and was in need of some serious shampooing. I don’t think I will bother driving out of my way to this theater anytime soon.

Well, hello, its the only theater in town… my only complaint about this place is the selection of movies — mostly kid stuff, and teen non-​sense. Having said that, thankfully, they usually have at least ONE adult oriented film out of FIVE screens, and I have seen some decent stuff in there. Its quiet and comfortable, usually not crowded, plenty of parking.

Been here dozens if not hundreds of times. They keep the place clean for the most part. The selection of movies is irritating however. They always have a cartoon, a family movie, a chick flick, an action movie and a comedy. It almost never deviates from that. Do not expect to see any movie here that isn’t either a blockbuster or an old blockbuster playing.
The worst part of this theater would be the drinks. I only buy bottled water there now, as anything from the fountain tastes like they had a horse pee in your cup. Seriously disgusting how bad the fountain drinks are. I am a soft drink fanatic, and what they serve should go on trial at the Hague for crimes against humanity.
However, they will refill your giant tub of popcorn for free!

Best movie theater in Lake co. Plus, they really do try for a small town operator. If I could say one thing, I am really tired of having people put their feet on the seats in front of them. Hello, you are NOT at home.

Considering this is the only theater in town it is entitled to at least a 3 star review. Other positives are that it is kept clean, staff is courteous, and it is rarely crowded.

Santa Rosa, CA
I mean– it’s the only movie theater around, so it’s not like you have options. But, having said that, it’s actually a pretty decent place. WAY cleaner than the Roxy in my hometown of Santa Rosa and the staff are (with few exceptions) fast, friendly, and efficient. Good sound quality, pretty comfy seats, bathrooms are usually kept clean and lots of parking right in front.

It is unbelievable that they allow employees to let their friends sit in during a movies and TEXT, TEXT, TEXT, constantly. And when I confronted one of those persons, I discovered that all the employees knew them as friends of theirs. So, not only do they allow non paying patrons (assumed) in, but allow them to disrupt everyones enjoyment by letting them do anything they want. Confronting the employees, all I got a a smirk and a pass off to the manager who is never there. This is the 2nd time this has happened. My family know wants me to drive them all the way to Santa Rosa so they can watch a movie without disruption. Nice going guys. No wonder you are losing money.

This is the only cinema within the 20 miles radius, so it is pretty good by the local standard. But for an urban crawler like me, it was a big difference. There was only one person working the box office with 20+ people in line. At least, he was quick, efficient, and friendly. I found it amusing that the snack bar is attached to the box office. There is only one restroom in the whole cinema, but there are plenty of stalls. Each theaters can seat about 100 people, not too big or too small. The seats are pretty comfy, but the arm rests are stationary. The screen has few small holes in the center.
You really don’t have a choice since this is the only cinema around here.
