Kmart Stores

Oh my god. Every time I’ve been in there there’s some kind of issue with the register! This last time they took FOREVER and rang me up twice for every item :(I need to stay away from this place.

I spent an hour and a half here today. It’s like no one takes any kind of pride in their work anymore.
I stopped at the pizza place first. The drink station was dirty all around the soda fountain. It took so long to pay for my slice of pizza that it was cold before I ate it. The floor was dirty, the bathrooms were dirty, no toilet paper.
So I walked around the store and the place was a big mess. There was a lot of merchandise that was out of order or dusty.
I went to look at accessories for my xbox360 and everything was out of stock. There were no controllers, etc. It was just a big empty wall.
I went to look at clothes, and it was all very disorganized.
There were two mannequins in the front dressed very sloppily, they didn’t have heads, and there was a mannequin arm laying at their feet. Very depressing.
It’s like the people there don’t care. You think they would care because it is the only store in town, and there are very few jobs here. So you would think they would want to do a good job so they could stay employed. But I guess they just don’t care.

Nothing particularly good or bad about this store. It’s clean, the staff is primarily helpful (though some you can tell hate their job). The prices are usually good to fair and the locations is convenient in general.
Plus, I’d much rather shop here than Wal-​Mart.

Pharmacist was rude and condescending to my elderly mother when she was getting her prescriptions. She had questions regarding her prescription and insurance coverage. The pharmacist was irritated while dealing with my mother. There was no one else in line and the place was very dead. All he had to do was stop chatting with a co worker but that was way too much for him to deal with. I was shocked to witness my mom being treated this way. I would recommend somewhere else that knows how to treat customers with some respect.

Ok as far as being a k-​mart, prefer Target. But this one is ok. Have been there several times. Best place to go shopping in the town. It’s one of the few super k-​marts left.

I did not know K-​mart still exists until I found one here. This location is fairly organized and stocks various useful items. My beef is with the cashiers. They take their sweet time scanning and putting away stuff. It drove me almost bonker watching my cashier scan the stuff, look at it, then put it in the plastic bag.
